His coffees are delicious - piping hot, very velvety and made from excellent quality coffee beans. The thing I liked most about this tiny coffee shop - so small it's easy to miss - is the way they've got the art of the takeaway down to a T. This isn't a place for relaxation, but somewhere to grab a top quality coffee on your way to the bus/train station. Even the muffins (which are fabulously fresh and come in an intriguing array of flavours, by the way) are geared towards grabbing-and-running. They are individually packaged in little paper pouches - great for maintaining freshness and also so they can be easily taken without messing about with tongs, napkins etc. This is a wonderful new edition to Edgecliff's coffee scene and definitely my takeaway-coffee-shop of choice.

I would like to say this is some of the best coffee, food and art I have seen in awhile. Unbeknown to myself this cafe has only been opened for a few weeks and is a sister or cousin to The Bunker in Darlinghurst. There is art from local artists that adorn the wall and they serve up rustic, home-style food matched with the best coffee. The exterior is pretty corner cafe typical, as is the interior. We just had take away coffees and a chocolate, raspberry & coconut brownie. Coffee ticked the caffeine box but wasn't anything to get too excited about, the brownie was good but not at all typical in brownie texture. It was more like a really dense and decadent fudge slice. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but if I was in the area, I'd give it another shot.

Having never have heard of this brand I figured that while this place was not necessarily a cafe, it was only missing the tables. The first thing I needed to do was avoid munching on the available sweets. While very tempting, I figured at some point I might want to snack on a cake somewhere else, so I just went with the coffee. It was disappointing straight away to see the woman making the coffee reach for the paper specimen cup, but the result was a fair decent cup of coffee. The crema was decent, and it was not over espressed. Nice effort. They think they can charge $20 for smashed avo and a poorly poached egg and I'm not here for that, lol. I'm really looking for something a little more special than what I can easily whip up at home on my own. Anyhow, I was really really pleased with my brekkie at Dairy! I had a delicious mushroom and goat cheese omelette and a really creamy soy latte. The whole thing really floated my boat, haha. And the guys were super nice too. This will be my brekkie go-to on Bondi Road going forward.

The crowd on a Saturday morning is a diverse mix of families, groups of friends, and couples sitting down at the brightly coloured tables (note- only seats about 20!), and the be-hatted barista is kept busy by frequent takeaway orders. The all day menu includes a mix of staple bacon-n-egg rolls through to fancier options, or you could go for my other half's favourite - a bacon egg pie! The service here is quite quick and when you order your meal and coffee it will come to you very quickly and do not have to wait too long. The staff here are friendly and will help you when ordering your meal or coffee.
