One of the most stunning venues I've seen! Went for a summer wedding in August and it was perfect! Amazingly shaded throughout so it does get too hot and the sun is never really hitting your face. It was simply and elegantly decorated, felt like a fairytale wedding. The staff were great but very lowkey. Instructions and directions were very clear. Would love to return here!

I wrote a review years ago when I got married at Nestldown. This past weekend, we went apple picking at Nestldown. Since getting married we welcomed twin boys and it was so fun to take them back to where we said I do and show them around. This venue is the absolute most gorgeous venue I have ever seen and just when you think it can't get any better they add something new and it gets better. If you are in the market for a wedding venue or an event venue look no further, Nestldown is where you want to be! Pictures do not capture the absolute magical atmosphere that Nestldown offers, you have to see it in person. Beyond the absolute breath taking scenery is the owners and the staff. It has been almost 6 years since my husband and I got married at Nestldown, I walked up to the owners daughter to introduce myself and was greeted with a huge hug and a "hi Jennica, my December bride" I have no idea how Diana keeps track of everyone's name and wedding date but she does. I didn't need to introduce myself she knew who I was! This incredible personal touch that Nestldown offers is unmatched in the bay area. Diana is and always has been a Rockstar! From start to finish Nestldown and their staff will make your wedding day unforgettable and magical! If this review isn't enough to make you check out this place, take it from my 4 year old twins who as we were leaving said " thanks mama for sharing this magical place where you got married, this was the best day ever" They do tours so run dont walk to book one!

My husband and I held a big, fat Indian wedding at Nestldown in July 2025 -- we weren't the simplest operation to put together given our guest count and multiple moving pieces. The whole Nestldown team was so diligent about the details and genuinely cared about making it work. We worked with Brigette, Diana, Barbara and others at ND -- all were professional, thoughtful, and creative. Brigette especially was so professional, patient, and on top of it day-of. It was such a relief having her by our side on our big day. Everyone in our wedding party who interacted with her had something nice to say. All the other ND staff I interacted with were the same. All of our guests couldn't stop gushing about the magical, fairytale venue that is ND. It's truly the most gorgeous place I've ever been and our photos turned out INCREDIBLE. Only pieces of feedback: for big, cultural weddings ND isn't a perfect fit -- consider making it easier to host larger events (parking, capacity in certain locations). Would also be helpful to have more rooms for changing (Indian weddings especially tend to have outfit changes). That being said, it's still worth sacrificing on some of those nuances to make it work.

We got married at Nestldown and want to leave a review especially for our SEM, Brigette! She was the absolute best to work with in the months leading up to the wedding, meticulously organized, having a great answer to every question and concern we raised (and we had many!), giving us the confidence that she and the Nestldown team would deliver a magical night. And they went above and beyond the day of! So many family and friends remarked how helpful Brigette and the staff were, from handling last minute wardrobe issues (groom's bow tie, bride's veil), to golf cart assistance, to helping parents with children, to calming our nerves in the most anxious moments - thank you, Brigette! And thank you Nestldown! And as all the other reviews state, the venue is truly stunning and immaculately well maintained - unforgettable experience for ourselves and our guests alike :)

I was helping my son and his fiancee look for the perfect venue for their wedding. She wanted a redwood forrest setting and after touring Nestldown, I knew that this was the place. We had looked at a number of different options and venues and Nestldown was just so magical and beautiful. I booked a tour for the couple and they too fell in love with Nestldown. So off we go..... From the first email correspondence with Jo Ann Yore to schedule the couple's tour and ask our initial questions to the actual wedding day, everything was seamless and well organized. We got lucky and had Jo Ann assigned as our SEM (Special Events Manager) and all of us worked well with her. I was especially appreciative of her experience and sage advice with some of the planning ideas. We visited Nestldown many times as we honed in on the specifics of the wedding and Jo Ann was very patient and answered all of our questions and then some! We also got to meet other members of the staff and all were such a delight to work with. Even had Diana reply to some of my emails when Jo Ann was out on vacation! I didn't ever feel that we were ignored or left hanging. While they had a list of vendors to pick from for all the essential services, we ended up with a few from the list and also other vendors not on the list. Everyone worked well together and Jo Ann made sure that they all were aware of the timeline for the wedding. Day of the wedding: I am so appreciative of Jo Ann and her staff as they worked to make the wedding event seamless from the wedding in the chapel to the cocktail hour at the Koi Pond/Fantasy cottage, dinner on the main lawn and the final transition to the Apple Knoll for dessert and dancing. We (the couple and I) were able to fully enjoy the wedding without any worry of schedules and timelines. Jo Ann even made sure that my husband and I were well taken care of in drinks department! My son and his wife had the time of their lives and their guests still continue to talk about their wedding at Nestldown. It was a truly magical event End of the day: The staff worked fast and efficiently to clear the area and made sure our guests were safely on the bus or in their cars. They loaded our van with all the props and extra items we brought to the venue and we were on our way within 30 minutes of the end time. I have gotten to know a number of the Nestldown staff relatively well and love the warmth and friendliness extended to us and our guests. I'm not sure my review truly conveyed how much fun we had planning the wedding at Nestldown and how much all of our guests enjoyed the evening. Would definitely recommend this venue for that once in a lifetime experience. I hope we get invited to a wedding here at Nestldown sometime soon.

Nestldown was perfect in our experience. We wanted an outdoor setting, and my wife really wanted a fairy tale like experience. Nestldown fit the bill perfectly, and is an absolutely gorgeous destination in Northern California. Every single spot is an instant photo gem from the chapel with the redwood backdrop to the iconic lake, fairy tale cottage, and beautiful barn. The location speaks for itself, and every single one of our guests were blown away by the beauty and complimented us profusely. The gorgeous location is just part of the experience. Nestldown also provides a day of coordinator, and ours was Brigette, and she couldn't have been better. We literally got to sit back and enjoy every part of our wedding, because Brigette and her team took care of the rest. There's not doubt that Nestldown costs, but in terms of value in comparisons to the dozen other wedding venues we looked at, it provides surprising bang for your buck. Nothings cheap when it comes to weddings, and Nestldown proves you get what you pay for in the best possible terms. The sound system is also worth calling out. The inconspicuous layout in the trees allows for amazing sound of processional music as well as our miced vows. The barn is stunning with its amazing chandelier, but the sound system was absolutely amazing with depth to every note during dancing. Couldn't recommend Nestldown enough, the venue really elevated our wedding to a height I didn't think possible.

Nestldown is pure magic. From the moment we first visited, I knew this was where I wanted to get married--and the reality of our wedding day was even more stunning than I had dreamed. Nestled among the towering redwoods, the venue felt like something out of a fairy tale. Getting married surrounded by that natural beauty was a lifelong dream come true, and the entire experience truly felt like living in a storybook. We worked closely with Ashley and Jo Ann, who were phenomenal. Their guidance through every step of the process was clear, professional, and warm. Everything was laid out in a way that was easy to follow and stress-free, and because of how seamlessly Nestldown operates, we didn't even need to hire a separate wedding or day-of coordinator. Their internal team is so experienced and in sync with one another--as well as with the vendors they regularly work with--that everything ran perfectly. There was not a single missed cue or hiccup. And the staff? They were not only attentive and professional--they were joyful! I truly felt like a celebrity, as if they had been waiting their whole lives to make our day special. Their energy, care, and attention made us feel so loved and celebrated. Nestldown gave me my fairy tale wedding. It was breathtaking, heartfelt, and absolutely perfect. If you're dreaming of a magical place to say "I do," this is it.

We had our wedding at Nestldown on 10/18/25. It is such a beautiful and special property. All of our guest were in awe and commented on how stunning and beautifully maintained the property is. The staff made our day magical. They are all so friendly, well prepared, very communicative, and the sound system is stunning. The day flew by and I wish I could do it all over again. The SEM team worked directly with our wedding planner but if you are planning alone do not fear because their team is well prepared and will make your day flawless. Best day of our lives and we wish every future couple and event a magical day as well.

We had our wedding at Nestldown a month ago, and it was an unforgettable experience. All of our friends and family could not stop commenting on how gorgeous the grounds are, and it was nice to be able to keep decorations super simple because of all the existing natural beauty. Most importantly though, I want to call out what an amazing team they have running everything. We were so lucky to have Ashley as our Special Events Manager - she went above and beyond to make sure that our day happened the way we wanted. On the wedding day, the weather decided to start pouring rain, so Ashley proactively called us with suggestions of indoor locations we could relocate to. I had previously had my heart set on having the ceremony in the chapel area, but agreed that it would be a better experience for everyone to move to the barn instead. Miraculously, the rain cleared up minutes before our ceremony was about to start, and at the last minute I approached Ashley about switching back to the chapel. It would have been completely reasonable to say no at that point, but Ashley and her team behind the scenes managed to execute some insane last-minute changes to make it happen, and she was so gracious despite my indecisiveness putting her in a tough spot. Thank you so much Ashley and Nestldown, we couldn't have done it without you!

Twilight inspired wedding? This is it! I attending a wedding here recently as a guest and wow, this place is beautiful! There was a lot of walking and I'm glad I didn't wear high heels. They do provide shuttles but probably won't be able to accommodate every single guests. The venue feels very private. We were they only wedding party there and each session is hosted in a different room. Space for ceremony, dinner, cocktail hours and dance floor. The staffs are friendly and everything went smoothly. If you can book this place for your wedding, it'll be a treat!

Absolutely idyllic place to have a wedding ceremony. The foliage was gorgeous; the ambiance, magical. The venue staff were spot on in their responses. They were caring and professional. Every guest agreed that it was the most beautiful wedding they had been to. Highly recommend!

We came to the venue the day before for the rehearsal. To be respectful my FI and I, who was also in the wedding, arrived early dressed nicely for dinner after rehearsal. Once everyone showed up people began ordering everyone to start helping set up. Including the wedding party. I was very taken aback by this. Never have I ever been involved a wedding where I was expected to do hard labor. My FI helped the men take the flowers and decorations out to place them around. I helped the bride get her things, including the dress, into the AC-less house. During the rehearsal I saw that the slope of the ceremony site was almost at a 45 degree angle! It was a little scary walking down the sloped grass to the stand at the altar. On the next day the wedding didn't start on time. I have no idea why but the bride, groom, and wedding party were ready to go. We had to have 5 different fans going on at the same time on the bride so she wouldn't melt! Once the ceremony was over we got to make our entrances into the reception. When the speeches got started I noticed how the seating for the guests created separation. The guests were seated in two segregated sections. One right in front of the bride and groom's sweetheart table and the other over on the patio off to the side that maybe only half of the guests could see the speaker. I know that if I was one of the unfortunate ones sitting there I would have been irritated. Overall the view was gorgeous, the food and music was decent, but I'm not sure I would have an event here. If you come here wear flats, watch where you step, and have a hat to cover protect you from the sun.

Piecing together the layout from all the options the space affords was so much fun, and it made us feel like the event was really ours, you know? It was exactly what we wanted. Just as importantly, the owners, Greg and Patty, were such generous and thoughtful hosts. They exude warmth and made us feel welcome from the first moment we arrived. They walked us through the venue, throwing out ideas for ways we could really make the space our own. They were amazing with communication, too. We were able to confirm and book the space about a year in advance of the wedding, and over the following 12 months, I must have sent a couple dozen emails with questions. They answered every single one within a day at the most, and always with ideas to help make our plan a reality. During our walk through, they were so helpful with offering solutions to make things run smoothly, and when we arrived on the day, they had everything set up exactly as we discussed. Living Well was such a gem of a place to find, and I cannot recommend it strongly enough.

Each consisted of 3 - 3 oz pours. The 3 flights covered all the wines they had available for tasting. Not a single bad wine and we liked most of them. Prices are on the higher end, but wines are high quality They allow outside food. Have both indoor and outdoor seating. Decent views. Service was excellent. Tasting by appointment only The drive there is no fun, literally on a dirt road hiking path for a mile or 2. Not enough room for 2 way traffic, but luckily we didn't encounter any other cars on the road going there or leaving. Worth checking out

They just opened last year so I guess not many people know about it. But the drive up is rough and winding. The one way dirt road is shared with hikers too. It is sister winery to Mount Eden. Mount Eden is only open weekdays while Domaine Eden is only open weekends. They serve both wineries' wines for tasting. They have 5 tasting flights varying from $30, $40, $45, $60, and $65. 3 wines per flight and they pour a good portion. We got to try 3 different flights to share. Mount Eden Estate , Chardonnay, and Cabernet flight. All the wines were pretty good. Fruit forward and bold. Our favorites were the first Chardonnay , Pinot noir Tanaka project , and Cab from Mount Eden library. I believe it was 3 bottles purchase to waive a tasting fee. Pricey wines. There was only one male staff. He was friendly and made sure we had enough shade when the umbrella shade moved. You can bring outside food. Nice Mountain View.

The dining area is spacious. Even with lots of tables, the space didn't feel cramped. There's a mechanical burger station against the wall too. Someone ordered a burger so I was able to see it in action. That was fun to watch. Everything we ordered, from the small bites to the dessert, was excellent! Rice Bites was tasty, and the rice had a good crunch. Truffle Fries was good, though I've had better. Caesar Salad was good as well. Shake'n Beef was tender with good flavor. As You Wish - the chicken was moist and delicious. The Ube sticky rice gave the dish a nice sweetness. Couch Potato cocktail paired well with the As You Wish entree. The chocolate dessert (can't remember the name) was very rich. Have with coffee. The banana dessert (can't remember the name either) was very good. Too easy to eat, very light and not too sweet. I will definitely be returning!

We made reservations for 7:30 PM on a Saturday and were surprised that only a few tables were occupied, which made for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. The service was excellent from start to finish. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and the entire staff was welcoming. A special shoutout to Sean and Taylor. Taylor was behind the bar and crafted some phenomenal cocktails that were easily one of the highlights of the evening. For food, we started with the mushrooms and crispy rice bites, both of which were fantastic and full of flavor. We also ordered the Burger Bot with fries. The concept was fun and unique, but the burger itself fell a bit short for us. The fries, however, were perfectly crispy and seasoned. While I wouldn't order the burger again, everything else we tried was spot on. Pricing felt appropriate for the area, and between the excellent drinks, delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, and genuinely friendly staff, we'd absolutely come back. Next time, we'll just explore more of the menu and skip the burger.
