Amber was our photographer for our wedding at the end of October. We cannot stress this enough, she made the entire experience absolutely amazing. All in all I am giving Amber a one star just for the simple fact that I feel like she and her coworker ruined my wedding apparently her coworker was her husband. I had one of us to take the groomsmen to the venue with the husband to take pictures on the way there however the husband are supposed to come back on the bus to pick up the bridesmaids and myself the bride. That did not happen. That has been stay behind and took more pictures of my wife and the groomsman. That led the bus to have to turn all the way back around to go and get him so that he can take pictures of us on the way there that bus mind you was already basically there to pick me and my girls up, that bus had to turn all the way back around in traffic and come all way back in traffic it was basically almost an hour and a half delay. I was late to my wedding we only had basically 45 minutes to dance at the reception and then she had the audacity to ask if we needed her to stay longer for an extra $300. My wedding was back on May 26,2017. My day was beautiful, but because of what happened with the bus and it being due to the uncoordinated photographers.... it made my wedding very short. And I paid well over 30k for just the venue for me to only be there 3 and a half hours out of the 5 we paid for. DO NOT GO WITH AMBER AMELINGMEIER AS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER! I wouldn't recommend. Amber, as you are still more concerned with time/money... the whole point regardless of "how happy we both looked".. I didn't feel that way. Still now, you're concerned with that. Great Engagement Photoshoot Amber was great for our engagement photo session! She's an absolute pleasure to work with. Amber was a phenomenal photographer. When I arrived to get ready, she was already outside taking photos of my wedding dress hanging in the trees. Then as the bridesmaids were getting ready, she had all the flower girls come outside and take these interesting and gorgeous photographs using mirrors. This review is a long time coming, I'd like to give 10 stars please. I got married May 2017 in Soquel and Amber was our photographer. Our first meeting was in the summer of 2016 at a fun little coffee shop and after talking to her a brief amount of time, I knew she was the perfect match for my husband and I. She was all that I was looking for in a photographer - relaxed, chill, fun, open to any suggestions I had, and made me feel so comfortable. I booked our date at our coffee shop meeting and never had any hesitation in doing so. We spoke a few times months before the wedding and a few more times the week leading up to my wedding. My family booked a house to stay at for the weekend and the photos online of the house seemed like it would be a great spot for a pre-wedding family photo session and our first look pics but that turned out not to be the case. I was freaking out but Amber came to the rescue and had two other suggestions for us close by. The one we picked, which was next door to our venue, was amazing! She did everything she could to get the perfect shots, from our first look pics, to our final wedding day photo. We had a few special requests to get some candid pics of our 2 yr old son and she nailed it. Our son stole the show during our wedding reception and she caught it all on camera. When we viewed all our photos, about 4 weeks later, they were vibrant with color, imaginative and creative, and 100% exceeded our expectations.
