Exactly as advertised. Fast, efficient service. Battery changed out while I waited. 3 minutes and $10 bucks later my Shinola is back in business. While this may be a small shop it is exactly what is needed. They deliver the goods with a smile and friendly service. I'll be back for all my watch repair needs.

Finally! A RELIABLE WATCH REPAIR! Jose Cuenquijano took great care of me and my watch on a Saturday morning; and both my wife and I are now looking forward to taking care of all our future watch and jewelry issues at Nestor Watch Repair. Found this little local watch repair shop that also fixes jewelry. Stopped by with my gf Kendra Scott earring after being told in fashion valley that they couldn't fix it. Took the owner of this little watch repair shop but two seconds to tell me he could fix it no problem. I couldn't believe he had it ready the next day and for only a $12 charge. I knew how happy my gf would be so I tossed in a $5 for the friendly and quick service. He's got a customer for life now read more

We were so impressed we asked if he could resize an engagement ring, (he couldn't because it is Platnium), but he said he can work with other materials. This place is not hard to find. Theres 2 business in 1 shop. Its a watch repair and shoe repair. The guy who fix watches is nice and kind. If I'm not mistaken the battery cost is just $10 or $12. If you got watches that is stock in your drawer and just wants it running bring it it to this shop. Its cheap but he'l take care of your watch. read more

Great local business in Imperial Beach. I called only to realize they closed in about 10 minutes. The owner told me to come by and he'd get me in and out (sizing a watch band). I asked the guy about the one for sale for $399.99 and his answer was "we usually will give a big discount because it's been sitting there for a while." I asked what the big discount was because the GoPro Hero 8 sells used for about $130-$150 at the time of this post. His answer when I told him this was, "oh yeah well we would probably sell it at around that price if you were to buy one because we would give a discount for it being there so long." I took it easy on him because he seemed like a younger dude.. But it was but biggest load of bullshit I've ever heard and seen in my life. They are trying to rip you off and resell items at way WAY HIGHER than they should. I highly doubt they are letting you bargain an item priced $399.99 down to $140-$150. I went to Jose to get a new battery and watch sizing. I showed up at 2:55pm (they close at 3pm), and he was nice enough to stay open for me. I only have to see him every few years for a new watch battery, or sooner if I need a watch sized. His quality of work is excellent, customer service and pride in his work are even better! He has 30+ years of experience with watch repair. His prices are much better than all the other places I called in the South Bay.
