I've been here a couple times...mostly to remove a link from a watch for a better fit. Both times Mo was a true professional and I instantly knew that if I needed any work done, he'd be the go to guy. I brought a jacked up Tag for service and repair. Moreover, the crystal was scratched and I wanted it replaced. Mo, the honest and meticulous business owner he is didn't recomend the latter because it would interfere with the aesthetics of the watch. I went through with inspection and repair and declined replacing the crystal based on his recomendation. The watch came back in perfect functional capacity. Ironically, I bought my grail shortly thereafter so I don't even wear the Tag anymore, but I will have it serviced with Mo and not at Rolex in the future. read more

I popped in for a battery replacement that took mere moments...then, when I discovered the next day that my entire watch was on the fritz, I came back in hot thinking that the battery replacement had damaged the watch. Mo was a consummate professional, counseling me that the problem had predated the battery replacement, explaining what had caused the current issue, and offering to make a full repair. He then comped my repair because I had (incorrectly!) thought that his battery replacement had caused the damage and he (correctly!) stands by his work. When I realized my mistake and apologized and tried to pay for the repair, he refused to let me and said that he hoped he'd see me again as a customer. I will not only be back, but will share this story with anyone looking for a place that operates with both skill and integrity. The last time I needed a watch battery replaced I came here. Was reasonably priced. Now their prices are ridiculous - $70 for a battery replacement?! I had it replaced elsewhere (also top rated watch dealer) for $20. Edit - it's unfortunate that a business owner has to resort to condescending and rude comments to deflect from the fact that they are grossly overcharging for a service. I do understand the process involved in replacing a Tag Heuer dive watch battery. The place I went for the service took the time to explain it, and I assure you they have the correct equipment as they are a Swiss watch dealer. Furthermore, most of my reviews are very positive. However, when I experience a business overcharging for a service, or not providing a quality of service commensurate with what they are charging, I'm going to call it out as a warning. I sent an inquiry for an estimate about getting the face fixed and possibly a battery replacement for an old watch in our family. I don't wear watches and intend to give the watch away as a gift. The watch is also a Rolex. I figured a price inquiry isn't a lot to ask for. I did get a response the same night by someone named "~Mo" but was essentially told that "most Rolex watches don't take batteries" so I may have a replica and they don't work on replicas. So.. MOST don't take batteries, meaning some do. But my watch is definitely a counterfeit and you don't want my business. Got it. But wait, benefit of the doubt. I walk in and am immediately greeted by the owner. He gives me straight up answers to my questions and says he can replace my battery in "just a minute. " He tells me my wife's eco drive Citizen doesn't run on batteries which I forgot and reminds me I could try setting it in the sun for three days to see if it resets. Battery replacement for my watch was half the price I was paying at the place a few blocks from my house. As he handed me my watch which literally took him one minute as he said it would, he shook my hand and thanked me for coming in. What an absolutely pleasant experience! It took me a second to find because it's nestled between a block of restaurants but it was an inviting atmosphere upon walking in. I wish I would have caught the name of the owner but I came in to get a quick check on my husbands watch and get a repair (if needed) Turned out it was just the battery!
