I would give negative stars if I could. Avoid Neu Urgent Care at all costs. They are incompetent and unprofessional. I recently went there for a specific test and could not have been more clear about what I needed done with said test. They didn't listen to me and then refused to refund me because I was seen by the doctor...she didn't even do what I requested‍ I spoke with several employees who gave me conflicting answers and when I addressed this with the manager, he told me he didn't know what to tell me and proceeded to tell me he's not a doctor and then gave me incorrect information about what I had done. They caused so much stress and made my situation worse. read more

I have been to this urgent care a few times for various things and realized I never wrote a review. This is one of the best urgent cares around! I live in Sterling Heights and still drive here if I need to be seen for something. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by a nice young man who updated all my information since I have gotten married. From each person I had an encounter with from the nurse, to the X-ray technician and P.A. I couldn't be happier with how I was treated. Everyone was so kind and helpful!! They treat you how you should be treated when seeking medical attention. I needed a few X-rays done and all turned out well. Dr. Krista Cassisi was great! The entire staff is friendly, non-judgemental, caring, compassionate, friendly, experienced in their field, and never makes you feel rushed or unimportant. I don't like to open up and speak freely, but Dr. Krista makes you feel very at ease and comfortable to talk with. They also have a psychiatrist and psychologist on staff. They are very understanding with scheduling and above-average at accommodating circumstances. They offer single serve Tim hortons coffee and water in the lobby, sanitizing practices in use, and alcohol for your personal use. Masks are required, and they even have an in house pharmacy! (Hazelwood Pharmacy (248)-955-1991) I've never waited more than 10 mins to get my script filled. I've definitely found my new permanent doctors office! Well worth my 15-20 minute drive. The first time I came they told me they will give me a call with my results and they never call or alerted me. I had to go up there and confront them two weeks later. I also went up there another time to give them a second chance for the same thing. Although the service was pretty fast one of the staff members were not friendly and I still haven't received my test results and it's been over three weeks. I don't not recommend very unprofessional and seem as if they don't take their job serious. :( read more

I stopped in as a new patient on my one-hour lunch break. If you're a pretty quick writer on the intake forms, you can EASILY be in and out in an hour or less. Within five minutes of turning in the forms, I was taken to an exam room. The staff was friendly, the doctors were quick and listened (you know how you feel some doctors "listen," but they dont? Well, I feel like these ones actually listened). It does appear to be a learning urgent care, so your doctor may have a medical student trailing them. This wasn't a hassle at all, and both the student and the doctor were very polite. The rooms were very clean. I went in due to a chest cold/cough, and received two scripts (basic steroids, etc). They helped out a lot, and I feel almost back to normal. I'm glad that I went. read more

I was dropped by the psychiatrist for no reason and treated horribly in the process when all I did was ask him for help in proceeding with trying to get Social Security disability and telling him that seeing him on an every two months frequency was not OK at this time. He then responded by asking me if I was on drugs and telling me he was done with me asking for me to get out several times shouting in the process. when I went to see another psychiatrist, I was also informed that there was lies put in my medical file saying that they called the police on me, but I ran away or something to that nature. Which is all very upsetting, because now when I go in front of the judge to get Social Security, she is not going to like that and I will have to defend myself on that issue. Thanks for everything. Neu urgent care great people take great care. Oh then also when I had never done anything wrong in the first place, especially not at the Neu Hope substance-abuse facility next-door. I had even gotten along with that doctor well and had been stabilized on my medication. They dropped me as a patient without notice and had it not been for Dr. Colleen being a good doctor and having a heart I would not have received my last dose of substance-abuse medication. read more

I'd like to start by saying.. I work in health care myself. I am well aware of the strain felt by those working in health care these days. However, that is no excuse as it relates to my experience at this urgent care. I patiently waited three hours for a COVID 19 PCR test. I was symptomatic and hoped to see a provider for evaluation of my symptoms. When I was finally called to the back. I was seen by someone who appeared to be a medical assistant (no introduction was given) and she collected the PCR nasal swab. I then asked her if I would be seen by a provider regarding my symptoms. She informed me that she didn't know that I needed to see a provider and proceeded to go and get someone. After 30 minutes of additional waiting, I left my exam room to exit the building and ran into the presumed medical assistant in the hallway. She told me that the provider was busy. If I was coming for asymptomatic testing or stated that I only desired to be swabbed, I'd understand not seeing a provider. But I had symptoms, and although COVID is the main cause of most symptoms these days, I still wanted to be evaluated for possible flu or strep throat. I would like to think that after waiting 3.5 hours that it would be reasonable to see a provider. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this facility. I'd also like to mention that one of the three women working at the front desk demonstrated very poor customer service, which added to the poor experience. It was very evident that she was frustrated by the amount of patients in the clinic and the multitude of questions being asked. I understand that these can be very difficult times; however, maybe it would have been beneficial for this young lady to take a break instead of continuing to show her short temper to the the patients in the lobby. read more

They advertise rapid covid tests. I took my 11 year old son for a test and was immediately shocked by how unsanitary the waiting room was. It turns out their main business is "substance abuse treatment" and the lobby is packed with people waiting for their suboxone from the in-house pharmacy. We used our Blue Cross, they informed me that to get a rapid test for him it would be $100 extra on top of insurance because his cough and exposure isn't enough to get a test!!! True story. I went in for a UTI and used their online appointment scheduling system. It says they will call you when it's confirmed when you do that. No one called so I called them and they said they had no record of the appointment. I had to reschedule and come in. They were obviously training a bunch of people when I came in because they were talking about how to operate everything. They seemed really distracted. I wanted to fill out the documentation using the QR code so I didn't have to touch everything and to save paper but it didn't work. I gathered from these experiences that it's new and they're working on it, but they need to get their systems right! None of the online systems worked. It took 20 min to be seen after filling all that out and it was very informal, the nurses were training someone and left the door open so very little concern of HIPAA violations. I don't usually mind but the rush and carelessness felt like it was everywhere. They didn't bother to get all my medications which could result in bad interactions if I had some other conditions. The PA that helped me was very straight forward and nice but other than that it wasn't a great experience. I like that they are connected to a pharmacy that took my insurance though. That and the PA are why it's not a 1 star. read more

No enforcement or reminders at all of masking for people actively coming in to test for Covid or recheck for whether they still had Covid. No social distancing. Staff also unmasked, which is unsafe while testing others for Covid snd makes me question their other safety and health protocols and procedures. I don't recommend. read more

I suffer from episodes of just being down bad. Nausea, headache the whole whammy. I went in today and after 7 hours of suffering they cured me in 2. I was a walk in on my lunch hour and was able to be seen by the doctor within 15 mins of arriving and was out with my prescriptions in hand in just 10 more minutes. The doctor was friendly and it was quick and easy. I will definitely go here again if I am in need of an urgent care. read more

Went today for a Covid test. Got there pretty early at about 8:15am, since from past experience last week at a different clinic the wait times were about 2 hours. The opened the doors at about 8:40am instead of 9:00am like the hours listed & honestly that was amazing. I ended up being the 4th person in line & I waited a total of 30 mins (lobby time & time it took for someone to come into my room & swab me). I was giving a rapid test (since I was exposed to someone who tested positive & had symptoms ) & a PCR. I waited an additional 15 minutes for the results of the rapid & was told PCR would be back tmrw morning. I actually just received my PCR result about an hour ago. The nurses were very friendly and helpful, since I had a sore throat they checked to make sure it wasn't strep also, and checked my boyfriend chest to make sure there was no built up fluid since he was showing symptoms. Dr. Greenburg took me on a moments notice when my regular Physician suddenly "disappeared". He was kind, thorough and very concerned about my well-being. On the first visit, he discussed issues with me that my regular Physician would often avoid. Extremely clean office, waiting area and rooms. Cassandra at the front desk is a bit of sunshine :) Very welcoming and friendly. From the moment I walked in, I felt like a patient, not a number or burden.
