By 1978, the Center had grown and was able to purchase a residence at 2001 Colorado which was converted into offices and was to be Samaritan's home for the next thirty years. It was also in 1978 that the Center became a 501c3 nonprofit agency as designated by the IRS. In 1986, we affiliated with the Samaritan Institute and added Samaritan to the name, and has been accredited by the Institute. Samaritan is a faith-based agency where counselors offer faith-sensitive therapy regardless of clients' individual religious beliefs.
