Both the staff at Neuropsych Wellness as well as the services they provide have helped me tremendously. I have a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for medication who is very good, and a therapist who is incredible. The staff is always pleasant and cheerful. All that aside, I cannot say enough about the actual TMS treatment as well as the people downstairs that run it. TMS has given me my life back, my depression is broken for the first time in 30 years and I am grateful. The actual treatment is annoying, but Allie, Hannah and Paul make the appointments bearable. *I'm adding this to the review because the owner responded. I have already emailed the practice admin address and have not received a response. I have not yet received a response to any of my calls from this morning (7/28) either. At this point I am filing a complaint with the BBB. Everything about this office is very poor, besides the provider I was seeing. After my first insurance change, it's been a miserable experience with the billing office. Trying to figure out how much I would owe for each visit was like pulling teeth. I would call the insurance, they would tell me one thing, I'd call the office and Daniella would tell me another thing. I've never not gotten a massive attitude from her. One time I literally had to tell her to "chill" because I was really getting upset with the way she was talking to me. I pay an enormous amount of money every year for insurance, and I have every right to ask as many questions as I want to about billing when I see a provider. I don't get nasty with people unless they do it first, and there was really no excuse. If you don't want to deal with patients, maybe don't work in a job where you're required to. My insurance plan changed again for this year, and I was paying out of pocket until I met the deductible. The 'estimated' amount for one visit earlier this year turned out to be more than what my insurance explanation of benefits was telling me I owe. I called and left a message for her and never received a response. After I posted this similar review on google, I got a call from the office manager who finally made it right. Skipping forward, I was overcharged again earlier this year and have been trying since then to get a refund. The billing office has continually stonewalled me. It's not even that much money but at this point it's out of principle that I'm determined to get it back. I called in May and I was told to call back in a month. I called June 16th and was told the refund request would be sent and processed within 30 days. By July 16th I had nothing, so I called that day and was told the billing manager was out of the office and nothing could be done. I called again this Friday the 25th and was told the billing manager wasn't in yet but I would get a call back when she was. By 2pm I had heard nothing so I called again. Stephanie informed me that the billing manager was in a meeting and she promised me I'd get a call back by the end of the day. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. I'm going to continue to pester the hell out of them until I get that money back ASAP. Although I really love the provider (Cammy), it's not worth the inevitable billing hassles anymore. If you're considering this practice as a new patient, my advice is AVOID. read more

Hard to get an appointment with a male therapist. Also it is only possible to get psychiatric nurse practitioners for medical management. My nurse practitioner is very knowledgeable on medications and is willing to work with me on what medications that work. read more

I work with a medication supervisor, Suzanne Cox, who has been superb. She is gentle, thoughtful, up to date on medication interaction, and very responsible towards my care. I did have one unfortunate experience with a therapist on staff who left the practice abruptly and I was never informed, so management may be a bit off. Finally, Daniela, their insurance contact, has been amazing. She is really on top of dealing with insurance and drug companies, goes the extra mile, and has worked wonders on my behalf. Excellent mental health care! Jennifer Jordan, psychiatric nurse practitioner, has helped me immensely with her compassion, understanding of my needs and identifying the best medication and tools for my deep depression, anxiety and bi-polar disorder. She doesn't give up and has worked diligently to find new ways to bring me back to life - to my life. Jennifer recommended TMS treatment for my deep depression, which I jumped on. It was a huge commitment for me - 36 treatments. Now, I have one treatment left and am so grateful to Jennifer for pointing me in the TMS direction. Paul Ruberg is exceptional. As administrator of the treatment, he is compassionate and understanding and clearly loves his work. Paul has explained the process in lay terms. In every session, he has made sure that I've been comfortable (even made sure I had blanket), and he has monitored my progress carefully and meticulously. Thanks to Jennifer and Paul, I am a different person today. I'm "back" - back in my body. The real me that had been buried for so long with anxiety and depression has been rediscovered. I'm motivated, interested and engaged in life again, especially with family and friends. I laugh a lot and I laugh hard, from down deep in my belly. I am sleeping better than I can remember - 7 to 8 hours each night as opposed to cat naps that totaled 4 or so hours before treatment. Both Jennifer and Paul have gone over and above for me. When there was a family mental health crisis, they dug in quickly and provided guidance and information that included a list of specific mental health facilities in another part of the state to go to for help. I saw Shalini Jain last week for my adolescent son at her office and had a great visit. She listened to how he was feeling and was very empathetic. My son hates going to the doctors but Shalini made it a very pleasant experience vs other doctors. Shalini asked him questions to draw out his true feelings, as adolescents don't always know how to articulate their feelings. I have been seeing Nurse Practitioner Suzanne Cox for several years now and am extremely happy with my treatment and experience. She is patient, attentive, knowledgeable, and truly cares. This place provides a number of great services. I receive talk therapy, my prescriptions, and TMS treatments from Neuropsych. All of which have proven to be very effective. The staff are very friendly and easy to communicate with. My concerns always feel heard, and the results have been increasingly positive with every visit. I have done around 25 sessions of the TMS so far. My anxiety and panic are at an all-time low, my mood has been steadily adjusting to be more positive, and the experience itself is very easy. With the help of this treatment, and the wonderful people who work there, we have managed to all but fully replace my medication with a process that puts me more at ease.I plan to continue my treatment there for as long as they will have me. read more

I saw Camtran Huynh for several months. I found her caring and responsive. I highly recommend her. After every meeting, I felt calmer and better able to handle ... just everything, and we would end every session with small actionable items to help me progress. I was referred to the Neuropsychological Wellness Center and they participate in my insurance plan. I contacted them for neuropsychological and joined the waitlist that was estimated to be six months long. I contacted them five months later and was told that the wait list is indefinite and that they're prioritizing internal patients. They did not mention this prioritization when I joined the waitlist, else I would have considered becoming a patient. They only have one test provider and, despite demonstrated demand, are not adding any more. It is difficult to patiently wait for these services. They simply lack the capacity to provide care to anybody looking at a yelp review. read more

You had better do your homework on receiving mental health care when you or a family member shows signs of needing some help. Like so many other "health care practioners," this group is really just a business trying to turn over as many customers as they can. Part of the problem is the virtual visits that don't truly serve for a doctor to get to know their patient. You will be charged exorbitant rates (probably the "going" rate) to see a psychiatrist (think at least $300 per hour) which may take only 20 minutes or so, but still pay the full hour charge. They have a scripted series of questions that are predictable and don't seek to understand individuals. They will prescribe the usual slew of SSRI's, but with little to no follow up. They also want you to "check-in" every month so they can charge you the visitation fee and allow you to continue a medication by approving a scrip. I don't believe that any good mental health specialist can truly understand a particular patient by staring at them on a computer screen for a few minutes. Simply part of the problem here, rather than competent, nuanced care. Good luck. read more

The first provider I saw ended up leaving the practice and the suggested I start seeing Camtran Huynh. She is the best! I saw her for medication management and she also helped to calm me down and provide better coping mechanisms when feeling like my anxiety was unbearable. I didn't want to write a review on here because I know COVID has impacted a lot of health care practices but I been a patient with NeuroPsych clinic for almost two years. This needs to be said, a lot of money has been given to be treated but this is what I get. - My doctor was switched out and I was never notified. -A lot of important information that needed to be be passed on to my doctor was never notified to my psych. -The lack of professionalism from calling the front desk to not having any empathy or care for their patients. I understand you are running a business and practice but I don't think some people realize they are talking to their patients. Many people are trying to get help and trying to get treated; and sadly the mental health wave is raising with COVID, there is absolutely no positive attitude on the phone every time I call or even get a call back. - I been to a few psychs and this is honestly the worst I have ever dealt with and very disheartened. I was also told by the front desk that I can go find another clinic if I'm not happy with them, I don't think they understand or they should know how long the process is to get into a psych clinic. Also Instead of trying to solve questions that I had. I would get dead end answer and they did not want to help me. - Dr. Agapanthi and Dr. Goyal have been my Psychiterest and they are actually awesome. It seems the psych have so much they can control with the front desk, the lack of communication is not there from my experience. I have had to call several times to have a task done which should be done by one phone call, and repeated several times. - Also "Kevin" from the front desk, understood my annoyance with the clinic, "Kevin" went out of his way and was able able to assist me and actually was able to solve everything I was asking where as other people I spoke to they just shut me off and didn't want to help, I hope this practice improve their way of speaking to their patients and understand the sensitivity of current and new patients coming in. I hope this review will make them understand on the patients side and shed some light to create a positive experience on both ends. read more

The providers I have seen have been great, It is almost impossible to get to speak to a live person at this office. You are always sent to a voicemail and then you receive a text to proceed with the communication, which is not responded to in what I feel is a timely manner if you are responded to at at all. She has provided resources and strategies, treated me with appropriate therapy, discussed my goals for each session and held me accountable for the work I identified as my goal between appointments. I think a 48 hour cancellation/rescheduling fee is utterly rediculous. 24 hours should be ample! When I called 24 hours in advance to re-sechedule an appointment due to some issues with my son, the office staff was cold and uncaring. They reluctantly offered a "virtual" visit, but were not happy about it, as my provider normally only does virtual visits Thurs/Fri and my appointment was on a Tues. Very disappointing. I recently needed a new psychiatrist, and this location happened to be the only one with openings in the near future. I've been in treatment and working in mental health for years, so I'm very familiar with how things operate, and I would not recommend going to this location for anything besides keeping your prescriptions available to you while you're looking for a better provider. The provider I worked with had clearly not looked over my file before our appointment and was rather disengaged throughout our session. She was regularly cutting me off in the middle of my answer to a question that she had asked and when she'd try to summarize what I had said, her summary was completely off; you could tell she wasn't paying attention. The worst part of it all was that this provider was quite invalidating. She asked about my sexuality and when I told her that I don't really label it, she said "well that's just bisexual." I have had OCD my entire life, and when I listed off some of my symptoms, she'd say "that's just anxiety." I don't feel the need to go too deep into my symptoms, but when you've developed physical, chronic conditions due to your compulsions and have been in treatment for it for years, it's difficult to be convinced that it's "just anxiety." If you go to this location and they make you feel like you're "not sick enough" to get help or that you're "blowing things out of proportion," I urge you to look for another provider. You know yourself best, and if you feel that you need additional support, there are better services in the area that can actually help you. read more

Terrible place; the doctor and the office. The office sent me an email with forms to fill out, then not even a minute later called me saying that they needed me to fill out prior to my appointment (2 away) or else I face cancellation and a charge. It was not enough time to have prior med records sent for any confirmation for treatment, which was brought up during my initial appointment with Jaaska Cather. I went in to get a refill of meds that I had been without for 3 months due to losing my job and insurance. I explained in much detail about WHY I needed my med, the other meds I took for anxiety and a desire to possibly move away from my current prescribed med as I felt it wasnt as helpful vs others I had previously taken, but the side affects I felt with previous meds I did take in the past. I tried being as detailed as I could since they couldn't pull my records and so my level of treatment would be taken serious and to not lose time as I had been running out, or had run out, of meds I was taking. Doctor told me she thought I was bipolar and referred to the survey I had filled out and a few things I marked. I told her I absolutely was not, and most of what she explained why she thought I was bipolar was just normal behavior that is typical of the ACTUAL condition I ACTUALLY have and was DIAGNOSED WITH SINCE A CHILD. She said she couldn't give me the med I really needed and instead wanted to up the dosage of the meds I had already talked about in length I wanted to switch off of (as if I hadn't just explained why they weren't working and that I wanted to seek another option). I realized she really didn't listen to anything I actually said, and while yes was probably a lot and in detail, and instead seemed to just go off this one-dimension patient survey that actually DOES NOT explain what I just did. I panicked when I realized she wasn't going to give me a med that actually helps me be functional (and is the prime reason I went) and solves a majority of issues that the are present when I am not on it at all. I tried to make my case as to why it is critical that I am on it and do need it, but used the fact that I was flustered and panicked to say she just wasn't going to prescribe me anything now. SERIOUSLY? ANY doctor that just disregards anything you are talking about and ignores your concerns is just not a good doctor at all. It was a waste of time and money (which is another reason to steer clear as their policies for being late, no real cancellations, etc. is so stringent) and the care provider overall seemed honestly like a hack. terrible experience. tldr; doctor did not listen and wasted my time read more
