No bloodwork ordered and then charged me more than what I was quoted when I made the appt. The front staff tried to sell me a bunch of vitamins etc. I should have left without paying. Yesterday, the 17th of Dec, they called to tell me they're cancelling my appt because they don't take my ins., even though I verified when I made the appt. Now 2 days prior to appt they suddenly can't see me & I have to go to one of their other offices that are 2x farther away which have no openings til March. Grrrr... When I got home I called back and asked what the actual issue was. Apparently they take UHC but not if it's the medicaid plan. smh. So I called my ins co and had them do a 3-way call to yet another TMG office and was told they do take my plan. wth? So we called again to make an appt, and this time they said they don't. He's ordering testing I've been needing (I just got insurance). He's been a fine doctor so far, but we haven't butted heads over anything yet. Lol. I don't know how he would act if you disagreed with him on something. That's the reason for the 4 stars is because I don't know him in all situations.

I received notification after the procedure that I had missed my appointment! I spoke to an employee re rescheduling and explained that I felt it unnecessary to come in to discuss the results of a test that were all normal. IMMEDIATELY after I told her that, she said she needed to reschedule! S he hadn't listened to a word I said. I explained AGAIN. She said okay and we hung up. I was contacted again about missing the Appointmen! I spoke to her AGAIN explaining that I had cancelled BEFORE the appointment! She AGAIN wanted to reschedule and AGAIN I explained that I thought it unnecessary. She said that if I didn't come in they wouldn't refill my prescriptions. I called the next day, asked to speak to the doctor. I was refused and allowed only her assistant. I told her that I'd be happy to come in and discuss both the test results and the procedure results, but since the procedure had been canceled when I reached the clinic, it needed to be rescheduled. I asked if they would refi my prescriptions until after the procedure. They said no. So...I'm stuck. Any meds I need to be refilled won't be. I'm finding a new doctor.

Ive now had to locate a new Drs office during this stressful time. Secretaries where very rude and often smelled of cigarette smoke. No one wants to do they're jobs at this Drs office. If you cant or refuse to do your job I will not pay you for failure! This place is awesome. These people really care about their patients. I have been there with my…read morehusband and they put you to ease, and they do provide t.v. and blankets if you are cold and pillows if you need to sleep. They also have bottled water, and soda. They help with patients that have difficulties with infections. I will say they have a very respectable place, and I would recommend it to people who have medical issues. They sure did help us alot. Thank you to Jonathan for being a great nurse and for caring.

Regarding Brandon office…read more.. Great central location. Easy access. Beautifully decorated waiting room. Comfortable chairs. Polite staff. That's where it ends! This is the most inefficiently run doctors office I have ever been to. Be prepared to wait at least 1/2 an hour past appointment time. I have actually waited 2 1/2 hours (it became a challenge so I waited). I was told I needed a "special chair" then was placed in a regular examining room...? I have needed a PICC line placed three times in six months because they were too anxious to stop IV antibiotics. The PA stopped IV antibiotics and had the PICC removed before the infection was completely gone. They have prescribed massive doses only to stop them completely. I have seen a doctor twice in the office in six months. I normally see the PA, which would be okay if my infection were a simple staph infection. But it's not, and has caused other serious health issues. All because of the rush to stop treatment. The office staff has unnecessary difficulty scheduling home health care. I know my insurance covers care because I've had care before, as well as the fact my wife works as an administrator in this very field. My supplies don't get ordered therefore not delivered. The nurse was not scheduled or the agency even contacted. I then get a frantic call that I need to do something right away because THEY have not followed through...?! In short, doctors are good, staff is polite, but doctors need to supervise THEIR representatives better or hire more experienced, qualified managers to oversee the office staff. It is people's health and lives they are handling everyday. I'm very fortunate to have a wife who knows the ins and outs. What's right and wrong and what's possible and reasonable to expect from a health care "PROFESSIONAL". Know what you need, know your rights, question your physician and demand good care. I would NOT recommend this doctors office.

I called the next day as instructed and waited SEVEN ADDITIONAL HOURS to get a call. By this time, I was housebound in agony. They could NOT get their technology correct. I am a technology manager so I am well familiar with virtual technology. I waited and waited (took screenshots to prove I was waiting in the virtual room). They tried to call, but because I was IN the virtual room, it went to voicemail. CHRYSTAL the assistant then proceeded to tell me it was MY fault and they would NOT honor my appointment, despite my 7 hour delay the day before. They told me I HAD TO COME IN THE OFFICE despite my pain level and incapacitation AN HOUR A WAY simply because they could not figure out their technology. THEN THEY PROCEEDED TO HANG UP ON ME! Highly recommended! Being a walk-in clinic the wait times are sometimes long but it is worth it. Dr. Wishik takes the time to explain everything to you regarding your treatment options.
