Already disappointed that on my ins site it claims dr ramirez is taking new patients when she is not. So my appt was with a new dr that just started. I confirmed my appt via text on the 13th. Yesterday, the 17th of Dec, they called to tell me they're cancelling my appt because they don't take my ins., even though I verified when I made the appt. Now 2 days prior to appt they suddenly can't see me & I have to go to one of their other offices that are 2x farther away which have no openings til March. Grrrr... When I got home I called back and asked what the actual issue was. Apparently they take UHC but not if it's the medicaid plan. smh. So I called my ins co and had them do a 3-way call to yet another TMG office and was told they do take my plan. wth? So we called again to make an appt, and this time they said they don't. This medical group is completely incompetent.

I went home, but I had high blood pressure and heart rate over 100 so I called the TGH line to find me a doctor and they were great. They knew I needed to get in fast and get blood pressure medicine. The hospital didn't give me any for after I left. I was assigned to Michael Escobar ARNP and he is very professional and has taken very good care of me so far. He's ordering testing I've been needing (I just got insurance). He's been a fine doctor so far, but we haven't butted heads over anything yet. Lol. I don't know how he would act if you disagreed with him on something. That's the reason for the 4 stars is because I don't know him in all situations.

The only patients they make money off of are patients with Medicare Advantage insurance plans…read more Then, even if you're healthy, they want to see you constantly because they get paid more! They're in it for the money only, not for the patient. If you get sick or need more care, you now cost them too much and try to get you placed on hospice so it doesn't come out of the clinic's budget. Healthcare at its worst!

AVOID THIS OFFICE! I was scheduled for an appointment on the same day I was scheduled for an…read moreoutpatient procedure. I called ahead and canceled the Dr. appointment. I received notification after the procedure that I had missed my appointment! I spoke to an employee re rescheduling and explained that I felt it unnecessary to come in to discuss the results of a test that were all normal. IMMEDIATELY after I told her that, she said she needed to reschedule! S he hadn't listened to a word I said. I explained AGAIN. She said okay and we hung up. I was contacted again about missing the Appointmen! I spoke to her AGAIN explaining that I had cancelled BEFORE the appointment! She AGAIN wanted to reschedule and AGAIN I explained that I thought it unnecessary. She said that if I didn't come in they wouldn't refill my prescriptions. I called the next day, asked to speak to the doctor. I was refused and allowed only her assistant. I told her that I'd be happy to come in and discuss both the test results and the procedure results, but since the procedure had been canceled when I reached the clinic, it needed to be rescheduled. I asked if they would refi my prescriptions until after the procedure. They said no. So...I'm stuck. Any meds I need to be refilled won't be. I'm finding a new doctor.

I choose to stay I requested an appointment because I had recently been feeling very Ill. At the appointment I met with a Kailyn Campbell who is A PA. She came in and barely made eye contact with me. She processed me like a computer. Needless to say I found out the reason why I was feeling sick at that appointment. I was treated like I was scum and I'm so confused. Im not sure why? I pay all of my copays, I show up to all of my appointments on time. I went on they're website to take a survey and when I got to the bottom of the page I saw a last chance message. The message read before you leave a negative review reach out to Peter so I did he responded and told me someone named Lisa would contact me. Well Lisa never did. Ive now had to locate a new Drs office during this stressful time. Secretaries where very rude and often smelled of cigarette smoke. No one wants to do they're jobs at this Drs office. If you cant or refuse to do your job I will not pay you for failure! The medical code of Ethics state: A physician shall be dedicated to providing competent medical care, with compassion and respect for human dignity and rights.

My wife went in for a hip replacement over two years ago and something life altering happened…read moreduring surgery. She now spends 4-6 hours a day in either a foot brace, electrical muscle stimulation, pool or physical therapy centers for "foot drop". She was left with the inability to raise her foot naturally when she walks and has lost 50% of her calf muscle due to atrophy. She requires narcotics just to sleep, can not stand up for more than several minutes. This mishap has had a devastating affect on her life. Those that are considering this type of surgery be warned and read the fine print in what you are agreeing to.

This place is awesome. These people really care about their patients. I have been there with my…read morehusband and they put you to ease, and they do provide t.v. and blankets if you are cold and pillows if you need to sleep. They also have bottled water, and soda. They help with patients that have difficulties with infections. I will say they have a very respectable place, and I would recommend it to people who have medical issues. They sure did help us alot. Thank you to Jonathan for being a great nurse and for caring.

Regarding Brandon office…read more.. Great central location. Easy access. Beautifully decorated waiting room. Comfortable chairs. Polite staff. That's where it ends! This is the most inefficiently run doctors office I have ever been to. Be prepared to wait at least 1/2 an hour past appointment time. I have actually waited 2 1/2 hours (it became a challenge so I waited). I was told I needed a "special chair" then was placed in a regular examining room...? I have needed a PICC line placed three times in six months because they were too anxious to stop IV antibiotics. The PA stopped IV antibiotics and had the PICC removed before the infection was completely gone. They have prescribed massive doses only to stop them completely. I have seen a doctor twice in the office in six months. I normally see the PA, which would be okay if my infection were a simple staph infection. But it's not, and has caused other serious health issues. All because of the rush to stop treatment. The office staff has unnecessary difficulty scheduling home health care. I know my insurance covers care because I've had care before, as well as the fact my wife works as an administrator in this very field. My supplies don't get ordered therefore not delivered. The nurse was not scheduled or the agency even contacted. I then get a frantic call that I need to do something right away because THEY have not followed through...?! In short, doctors are good, staff is polite, but doctors need to supervise THEIR representatives better or hire more experienced, qualified managers to oversee the office staff. It is people's health and lives they are handling everyday. I'm very fortunate to have a wife who knows the ins and outs. What's right and wrong and what's possible and reasonable to expect from a health care "PROFESSIONAL". Know what you need, know your rights, question your physician and demand good care. I would NOT recommend this doctors office.
