The response I received from Farah Assefnia, who works there as administrative office, was very brief, rude, and dismissive -- saying that they don't participate in that kind of service. When I followed up to ask if they have an age limit or don't serve adults, she simply said there is no age limit, however, they won't be able to provide documentation for college accommodations. Farah treated me poorly. Their website mentions "Support Services & Accommodations," so this was very unclear and disappointing. It was never specified if they specialize in accommodations for workplace, college students, high school students, middle school students, or elementary school students. I felt discriminated, disrespected, and dismissed. If they don't offer this service, a polite explanation and a referral to another clinic who has experience providing documentation and accommodations would have been the professional thing to do. I would not recommend this center to anyone who is a person of color, college students, young adults, or disabled individuals looking for support seeking support or accommodations. Farah Assefnia's response showed a complete lack of customer service skills. McLean Counseling Center needs to train their staff better or hire people who know how to treat clients with basic respect. They also need to update their website to specify what "Support Services & Accommodations" actually means.

I was recommended and emailed this clinic because they claim to be TRICARE providers. Not only are they not, you cannot find them on the website nor where four representative is able to help me. I even had to work with my PCP who also could not find them in the TRICARE provider directory despite all this happening and email correspondence stating that I would have to wait for insurance to clear because I could not pay for the sessions. They went ahead and had me fill out intake paperwork and assigned me someone to have an intake appointment with. Afterwards I was told that my insurance did not go through and I was being billed. I was not able to get any help from the director or the assistant who stopped emailing me and had not followed up with me. This had been going on since November. I now have resorted to having to find yet another TRICARE clinic. I would not recommend this place based off of customer service because I was not able to get past the intake appointment. The therapist also did not mention this, which makes me concerned that she must not have read any of the paperwork or was communicated with by other members of the team. I was very clear that I needed the insurance to be fully approved before establishing care. They were able to cancel my second appointment, but never even communicated that my insurance had not been authorized in the first intake appointment. They did charge me, and I no longer am even going to be served there. Hidden fees are not something I appreciate.
