His work does so much for the local community, especially through the way he highlights and gives real spotlight to Las Vegas business owners and local talent. You can tell this isn't just a magazine, it's a platform rooted in appreciation, storytelling, and community pride. I'm especially grateful that he took the time to give me a tour and walk me through what he has planned. Hearing his vision and seeing it come to life behind the scenes made me appreciate the publication even more. The passion, creativity, and intention behind it all really show. I love meeting people like this in our community ...talented, driven, and genuinely invested in uplifting others. Myvegas Magazine is a reflection of that energy, and it's exciting to see how much impact one thoughtfully built platform can have. Las Vegas is lucky to have creators like this telling its stories the right way

Again, no one reviewed this? You can't not go on the strip and not see this magazine tossed around…read morewith all the coupons, booklets and things. It's probably one of the biggest distributed publications on and about the strip. The articles are so standard, I flip thru them all. you're read about all the attractions on the strip if you live here. I go thru the dining section, but all they feature is the most expensive/ celebrity chef places. If you know me, you know I prefer the small janky off strip places that don't have a corporate office and most likely have the owner working a shift. THAT'S Americana. The best thing about this magazine is actually the pullout map. It's not only of the strip, but the whole valley. It's probably the best detailed street map on one page I've seen. It unfolds once, not 30 times like a street map. they have a basic information page or 2 that tells someone stepping off the place what to expect, like the long ignored tip guide. the tip guide should be placed next to the podium on poster board upon entry. I've worked many, many restaurants, not just family ones and made less than the 8% employees are taxed on tips. They're based on the sales tax of what a server sells in a shift and doesn't account for tipping out busser, bartender and sometimes expediter. They also have a nightclub section that is interesting, because it also lists the hosts and numbers you can contact for VIP hosting services. what's interesting is the clubs they leave out where I know they provide such services. If you know, write them down and write me if you see the common denominator I saw. I've seen casinos and timeshares slap their own cover over the existing cover. I've seen Tropicana, Tahiti Village and Buffalo Bills, from what I remember. It's magazine size (only about 3 of the strip guides are), so just look for a second cover if you really need to pursue this.

I would give them 4.5 stars for being a decent paper…read more I saw the courts gave them approval to drop the sun, but they have not. Drop it and let them die off, they offer 0 original content. The problem is their services. Try to cancel your subscription online, here is a hint you cannot. You have to call and deal with the person trying to sell you 50 different types of subscriptions even though you know they will not come close to the price they will ask you to come back a few weeks after cancelling. Not sure why companies feel they should punish people that use their service, oh you have been a user. thats $100 a year, or cancel and we will contact you in a few weeks with a $25 for 6 month deal, and if you do not i am not really missing out on much.

They quote new subscriptions for people ranging from $109 yr up to $240 over a two month period. no reasons given. After over 20 years of service, myself like others are leaving. This greed is why many papers and other businesses are failing. much of their reported news in opinions not news. delivery service was always good. Las Vegas needs a quality news source other than tv and internet, which covers over 880% of the local news.

They…read moreactually get taken up, so, even as a local, have had times where I've wanted one and they're just gone for the current month. I like the articles. It's a sports newspaper and to be honest, it's impossible for me to follow sports stats, teams, leagues, etc. You miss a day and all your stats are off. But it has news on everything gaming: poker rooms, slot clubs, hotels and staff members you should know about. There are even articles about gaming hints, video poker, slot hosts. The article I have even has an article about the fading trend of Keno runners and how another piece of Vegas history is being lost by technology. Okay, someone needs to open a casino with all felt games, and manual coins, a casino that is run by people and not machines. The novelty alone will bring hoardes of locals in alone and bring back the senior crowd I'm betting. And make people- guest- wear shirts and ties on the floors. I could go on... A neat thing the paper does is that you can flip it over. It doesn't have a back cover. The second half of the paper is written upside down. I actually like that if you hate trying to catch the second half of the paper with your thumb to flip a page to the next. the second half of the paper is called Slots Today. They also have a page 3 girl picture, if you like looking at a bikini girl every issue, eh? they have an online version, too: gamingtoday.com

I am enthralled by the column The Full Monti - it is well written, gives me insights on where and when and doesn't stick to PR releases. Hey, when I go to a locals casino, I like to make it a full day - including dining and films or a show. This guy takes on what I should see - he knows his films and personally sees them! It is not a review of a film from someone who 'thinks' they know how to do a good film review - it is an honest audience member reaction to a film, whether it be a low budget one or a blockbuster one! He is funny - has charm - and I love that bit about his dog, Zozo. We all need a Zozo in our lives - and Monti Rock III makes me happy when I read his weekly column. Then I start to read all the rest - where I should look in odds and wagers. This is a great newspaper - wish it was more widespread - and since I like holding a paper and reading it - please, can you print more copies - as the reviewer before me said - they get wiped out too quickly! Love Gaming Today - a real newspaper dedicated to the main industry of LV and all who live here! Keep those presses rolling - Gaming Today deserves more recognition!!
