I've known Alexis for over 18 years. When she opened her new salon, I was hired to design her logo, work on her website and business cards. She was my stylist for the first 10 years. Alexis listens. Like all the stylists do. It is important to them. Due to scheduling Alexis wasn't available and I was directed to Angela. GOD-SENT. I feel beautiful, successful and confident after every haircut. My hair is awesome. The color is outstanding. There has been only one occasion I didn't love it and Angela moved her schedule around to accommodate me. She not only fixed it, but she made me proud. After every haircut, color and highlights I receive whistles, some woo woos and "great hair". I'm always asked who does my hair and I proudly say, "Nevaeh Aveda Concept Salon". Nevaeh is the one salon that you will not go home and wash your hair afterwards, to fix it to the way you like. I have never done that. EVER! I have loved my hair so much that I have purchased many gift certificates over the years and given them away to my friends and co-workers. Every woman deserves the royal treatment. I feel like I have grown up hair. My hair is the first thing my clients see and having great hair helps me with my confidence and sales. The scalp massage while my hair is getting washed is magical. I like fingernails scratching my noggin. The hand massage while my color is processing smells deliciously Minty. I just want to eat it. Nevaeh uses Aveda products; they are cruelty free and all natural. I like knowing it is plant based. Having Nevaeh has made holidays easier. Having great hair when you see relatives is relaxing. It's the one thing I don't have to worry about. As her vendor I have never left a review. I was afraid that reviewers wouldn't believe me, but I can't contain myself. People need to know how wonderful these stylists, designers, trend setters, educated ladies are. Alexis is also a philanthropist. Nevaeh has been raising money for clean water for years now. She gets it, and she wants to give back to the community. It is in her nature. These lovely women know and understand their guests needs. They all have great big wonderful hearts. I've never had anything but the best experience at Nevaeh. I've been a client there since it opened years ago, and the staff are amazing! They are incredible with color (I get highlights, but they can do anything!) Alexis, the owner, holds value in continuing education so all the stylists there (artists, really) know what's current, what the best products & tools are and how to get the look that suits you best. It's kinda fun knowing my stylist just got back from New York or wherever it is they go to learn about what's new and on trend right now. I recently took a HUGE risk and cut off 11 inches of my hair to donate to Locks of Love. Now, I haven't had short hair since I was 12 and I HATE short hair and LOVED my long hair, but I decided that since it was for a good cause, I would make the sacrifice. There was no salon that I would entrust with such an important task other than Angela! I had such a great experience at this salon. Angela was very friendly, super nice and very experienced. I came after work so the salon was very relaxing. Since I hate short hair, I wasn't expecting too much but was WOWED by the way my hair turned out. I liked that Angela pushed me to layer it a bit instead of going for a straight bob. I've been going to Nevaeh Salon for a little over 2 years now and Carrie Blasco cuts my hair. She's been such a GREAT stylist! She's always smiling, joking, has a great attitude and most of all LOVES what she does! Which totally makes a difference in my book. I've referred several people to Carrie and they have all walked out with a huge smile on their faces and keep going back to her. The salon is also always clean and orderly, the bathrooms are clean and I love that they use re-usalbe washcloths instead of paper towels, totally looking out for the environment. Caroline Blasco is my stylist of choice and she ROCKS! I instantly fell in love with the scenery of this salon but have returned time and time again for her! Anytime I have wanted to change or alter my style she is always there to recommend possible ideas and turn those ideas into an amazing reality! I absolutely have enjoyed the people and services at Nevaeh Salon. I moved to KC from the East Coast for a short period of time and it was such a relief to find a stylist and a salon that totally is as good as, if not better, than the services I received at home - it's a rare find! I've never had to wait (although they've had to wait for me once because I got lost and they were so understanding), my stylist took time with me, and the scalp massage is relaxing and wonderful!
