Almost 52! I had a scare with skin cancer and adult acne induced by stress and hormones. I will…read moretell you that this spa has been everything to me. Almost a year ago I found D Vida. I believe I had recieved a gift certificate from for a free custom facial. I thought oh I'll go get a free facial to make this hormonal acne feel better. Then go back to where I was going. No way I would drive so far. I was in a lot of pain. I seriously was so grateful I worked from home as I would ice my face while I would work. I wanted to put a bag over my head. I was so embarrassed. My sweet and experienced esthetician Stacie told me I might be a candidate for an acne facial. I thought ok. Jennifer at the front verified my insurance and for many of my facials it was covered by my health insurance. I have been consistent with medication, supplements, acne facial monthly paid by my insurance, as I ran out of my own skin care products I replaced with whatever they recommended. I used medical grade products prior to the last year and half when I ran out and didn't stock back up. My poor skin was out of control. Everything they have recommend has worked. I will say I'm a little sensitive to chemical peels and even though I do them just not as often. So if you are suffering from hormonal or teen acne I highly recommend Davida. If you wanting to feel more youthful or wonder how I do it. Than you will want to stock up on products and bank for a procedure depending on their recommendations. The needles in my face do not really hurt. I'm used to it I think from previous experience and dry needling. Filler & neurotoxin- beginning of Dec. I may no longer be 30 or 40, but after seeing the transformation I can say I feel forever young at 51. They have late appointments and even Saturday. I love coming here. Huge shout out to this knowledgeable woman NP Nisha and the entire team for helping me get my glow back. I've glowed before, but this is the first time I'm in a regimen that worked. It's not an overnight miracle, but constant care. My daughter has come with me twice and was so impressed. My son came with me today and was impressed my insurance helps. Also they have great events. Schedule an appointment. #satx satx #medicalspa #hormonalacne #topnotch

I've been seeing their deep tissue sports therapist Daggett for about 2 years…read more I am an Air Force veteran who served in Afghanistan and have a laundry list of physical ailments and deal with chronic pain. Daggett is a legend and he actually knew what was wrong with my spine before an MRI told me, and he catered his care over the various injuries I live with daily. The therapy he provides has had a profound impact on my daily life and how I carry pain, and he allows me to reset my body back to baseline. Keep in mind that much of the work he does is incredibly painful especially if you have injuries or locked muscles but it will absolutely fix your pain and he will even help you understand your body and why it does what it does as he's manipulating your muscles and nerves, and explain ways to mitigate or prevent so your body doesn't go back to the way it was. I'd recommend anyone I care about to go give Daggett at this location a try if you live with chronic pain or locked muscles, he will absolutely provide the highest quality of care and make your life easier as you carry less pain with you. Absolutely recommend and if you've been thinking about massage therapy this is the place and the therapist to go to

Texas Institute of Dermatology - Spider Vein less than 5cm

I truly wish I could be writing a glowing review of the Texas Institute of Dermatology and Dr…read more Ghohestani, but unfortunately my experience ended in disappointment, frustration, and what I believe to be unethical and misleading medical practices. I initially contacted the clinic to inquire about treatment for facial spider veins. After reviewing their website, I felt confident moving forward. Their page clearly lists treatment for spider veins under 5cm at $399-$450 per session or a package of 3 treatments for $999. I was fully prepared to pay that amount if recommended. At my first appointment, I was charged a $200 consultation fee, which was expected. Dr. Ghohestani examined the red mark under my eye and confirmed it was a spider vein that could be treated with IPL. He then told me they were offering a special 3-treatment package that day for $699. I agreed and paid $716.48 (after tax). He even stated that while I might only need one treatment, we'd go ahead with all three to ensure the vein didn't return. I scheduled my follow-up accordingly, with the understanding that two more treatments were included. Due to a work conflict, I rescheduled the second appointment, making sure to confirm with the clinic that it was okay to come a bit later than two weeks post-treatment. They approved the change. When I returned, expecting to receive my second laser session, I was surprised to be asked for another $200 visit fee. I questioned this, as I believed I had already paid for a 3-treatment plan. Dr. Ghohestani came into the room and complimented how well the area had healed but said I no longer needed additional treatments. I reminded him that we had already discussed continuing all three treatments regardless, since I had prepaid. Shockingly, he denied ever offering a 3-treatment package, claimed I had only paid for a single session, and told me this appointment was just a follow-up. When I insisted otherwise and showed them their own website listing the 3-treatment option, Dr. Ghohestani left the room and never returned. A young receptionist was sent in to tell me that "the website isn't always accurate" and that the doctor had created a "custom plan" for me. According to her, I had received a "deal" by paying $699 for one treatment -- which contradicts their own published pricing of $399-$450 per session. I requested a refund, stating that I was misled and did not receive what I paid for. Instead, they offered to let me pay an additional $300 to receive the other two treatments -- essentially asking me to pay full price again. I declined and left feeling taken advantage of, disrespected, and deceived. As a Texas business owner myself, I value integrity and transparency with clients -- something this practice sorely lacks. I will be reporting this experience to the Texas Medical Board, and I strongly encourage others to be extremely cautious before seeking treatment here. The way I was misled and then dismissed is unacceptable, especially in a medical setting.
