I've had my hybrid gel done by Reagan, Hannah, and another guy (older gentleman with a station on the left side -- I can't recall his name!) and all three have done an incredible job. I've never broken a nail and the shape, thickness, and margins are always fantastic. Prices are reasonable, too. Visited for the first time today for my appointment with Chris. Salon is located in a shopping center between Boerne Stage Road and Dominion Dr. I got a NexGen manicure and couldn't be happier with the results. Chris took his time and you can tell he really takes pride in his work. He is also really good at nail art. Definitely see him if that's your thing. The salon is clean, relaxing and everyone is very friendly. It wasn't crowded with people when I visited which is definitely a plus. I will definitely be back! My friend wanted to go get her nails done for her birthday but neither of us have a place we regularly go so we looked at some reviews for her area and landed on TD. It was okay. The ladies who did our nails were so nice and let us just talk and catch up while they worked. We asked for gel manicures and we both picked something with sparkle. The lady working on my nails almost forgot the base color coat to actually see the sparkles and my friend didn't get her base color so it ended up being very shear. Her tech also cut her finger pretty badly to the point where she was still bleeding when we left. We requested drinks and never got them, but that didn't really matter I suppose since we were only there for maybe 30 minutes. It was the fastest manicure I'd ever gotten. I loved how the color on mine came out but it is so uneven that by the next day I already had cracking in the top coat. And all of my nails had a slant to them so I had to go home and reshape them myself. read more

Went in for dip mani, pedi, and mani/pedi for my daughter. The color I selected from their samples and the color I got were not even close, like several shades off. When I asked about it I was told their "dip is always less vibrant/lighter than the sample" weirdly, so was the regular polish on my toes. I was very confused because isn't that what the sample is for? Then...My dip cracked the next day on 3 of my nails. I went back to have them fixed only to have 4 more crack the following day. I went back and had to sit and soak them off myself and was told I would not be refunded for this service. I asked if I could have a credit for a pedi, as the dip wasn't working for me here and was told no. For reference I had been getting dip/gel mani's for a few years with no issues. I recently moved to the area and had a dip mani at a salon in Boerne a few weeks prior and also had no issues. This salon was amazing. Truly. They were slammed when I walked in but I still got a friendly greeting. They asked me to fill out a paper for what services I needed (full set, pedi, lip and brow wax) my name, what drink I would like and other things. A woman asked me to come back in 30 (very understandable like I said they were PACKED) I walk in 30 minutes later and am escorted to my massage chair and handed a fresh mimosa; she asked if they could do my nails and feet at the same time (yes ma'am absolutely) I felt like a princess. Kristy did my feet but I didn't catch the man doing my nails name :( There was a little chitchat here and there which was fine with me I was nodding off after a long day at work. My pedicure was just perfect, asked for a longer massage which they came through for sure. The man doing my manicure you could tell he knew exactly what he was doing, very proficient and quick. I was recently shown this salon by my mom and I absolutely love it. I am very picky when it comes to my mani/pedis and Chris is always willing to work with me and give me exactly what I want- all while doing it with a smile. The customer service is great and you feel like friends with the staff rather then just another customer. The salon is very clean and has an elegant feel that is inviting and not uptight. Chris has many different nail trinkets and accessories which makes the more unique things easier for him to do since he has a vast array of items. There was a time when I felt like Chris did something wrong and when I told him he happily fixed it. I do not have any negative things to say about this salon and would highly recommend to all. Great salon! Just came here for the first time for a full set and a pedicure-- I like how they have you fill out a form up front with what you want and the pricing. So many nail salons have shifty practices around pricing- and they upsell you without you knowing it so you go to checkout and you are paying 2x what you thought you should be paying. I have gotten gel manicures here and also pedicures here. The gel manicure was ok, but I keep coming back here because of the pedicure. Their signature pedicure is AMAZING! I have probably gotten less than 10 pedicures in my entire life (too ticklish), but the pedicure I got here was so good, I have been telling everyone about it. They soak your feet in milk, scrub your feet and legs, do a massage, paraffin dip, hot towels, moisturize, and polish. It lasts a full hour and is absolutely divine. They offer complimentary wine, soft drinks, water, and margaritas! The massage chairs were really relaxing The price point is excellent and everyone who has worked with me has been awesome. I even brought one of my friends with me last time and she was an instant convert. They never get super crowded/busy but I recommend calling ahead. Apparently, this place is under new management, so it's not as lovely as it used to be. This WAS my favorite place in town.... At first, the tech completely ignored how I wanted my nails done and used the wrong powder. I asked for coffin nails, but they were mostly square. The shape of my nails were all VERY crooked and different lengths, so I had to spend extra time at home filing them so my fingers didn't look broken. Within 3 days, 2 of my nails broke and my pedicure was ruined. I've never spent so much money on something that went to shit so quickly. I would have done better with a cheap set of press on nails. I made a last minute appointment which I appreciated to do a French gel manicure. When I sat down with the technician, she pushed for a dip manicure which was $10 more. Never having done it before I decided to give it a try. Before the final coating I had to tell her that my nails looked bumpy and she went back to fix them but didn't fully fix them as they are still uneven. She also never cleaned off the dust during the process, so the final product has grainy pink polish, which I didn't want. I asked her if that is how it is supposed to look and she said yes. I told her I want a solid pink color and she said "next time to let her know." Sure won't be a next time. Googling pictures afterwards showed me that the graininess is not supposed to be there. My ignorance sure played a role but I also feel like it was taken advantage of. read more

I used to get my nails done pretty often with Td nail and spa, I would go to Ryan Q but just when he left I started going going to Henry. Once I started going to Henry my experiences there were AMAZING I definitely recommend him if you're looking for excellent nail art! I am really close with Ven and his wife also, so we always make conversation! I personally have been growing out my nails and all my services have been acrylic overlays so that I can keep them healthy and grow them out. Henry would know what services to do every time I went to him and knows I go every 2 weeks. Which are the photos below. When I would get my acrylic overlays they would only charge me $65 + a design price which is reasonable. I am signed up in their points and rewards system so I would receive text messages about coupons. Today 7/12 I had tried using my 15% off coupon that expires 7/13 so I wanted to see if I could get a new design on my nails and the new manager declined and told me no because they have a new system and they can't redeem my coupon.. which before hand I had never knew they were switching management. You would think because I've been going for so long and even the employees know how long I've been there they would honor it. Ever since they switched to new management they had raised their prices, I was told I would pay $80 for just the cow print design.. which then I didn't understand how I would be paying that much for only a design. Also, their "new receptionist" are very rude. I don't even think they're of age to be working there. I overheard a women coming in for a pedicure they didn't even greet her properly. read more

Tom is who did my nails, and I really appreciate how detail oriented he is, especially with shaping the nails, and he was very accommodating to do the design I had showed him and he did an amazing job! I like this place. My tech did a great job. I had a cappucino pedicure. I got the works for only $55. Real coffee and honey scrub. Parrifin. Hot stone. Hot towels. Massage. I even got the cutest 4th of july nail art! Big fan. That being said I have constructive criticisms, but only because I loved it and want to go back. Could be a lot cleaner. The chairs were covered in nail dust and nail polish. The buttons on my massage chair did not work. It spent most of the time massage the top of my head because I could not adjust height To be honest I could care less about how my nails look. I get pedicures for the massage and massage chair. Hello my Neice and I went into your shop on Oct 11th. We asked for a basic pedicure. We weren't told that having gel polish was going to cost Us 20$ more. I was told by your staff that the gel polish will last longer. Here we are on the 22nd and my polish on my toes is already chipping away.
