This place has really gone down in quality over the last few years. I only went recently because I had a gift card, and I'm so glad I didn't have to pay much of my own money. Usually generally happy walking out of this salon. But today I had Lucy (i believe that's her name) as a tech. I asked TWICE for square with sharp corners. She continued to shape them as some weird combination of oval and rounded square. Had to walk back in and ask for someone to reshape which just ultimately made my length shorter than I wanted. I believe you can trust this place only if you get Cody or Ethan. I know a lot of other techs have returning clientele, but just avoid Lucy. read more

Upon arrival asked if they could still take us-"yes". 30 minutes later with NO attention.... We asked again. Suddenly a woman appeared. I've been visiting this nail salon for about 2 years now and I never have any complaints. I typically try to call ahead to schedule appointments or check wait times and they always get me in the same day or the next day, which is great because my schedule is fickle and changes quickly. If you have the time to spare, opt for one of their special pedicures (honey, wine, etc). They are a great experience and you definitely will feel pampered. I am always getting a full set or refill and they have it down to a science. I have been coming here for two years. Yesterday, my friends and I had the worst experience. I'm moving to another state and my friends and I wanted to have one last bonding night by getting pedicures together. My friend got Amy, and Amy was HORRIBLE. She took videos of us without our permission. When we told her to stop, she didn't deny it--she just showed us her phone and said "I deleted it, I can show you." Taking videos of customers without consent is completely unacceptable and invasive. Amy then belittled my friend on multiple occasions. She told her "Are you going to walk to your car barefoot? Because our sandals won't fit you." We have been here several times before and the shoes have always fit--she was choosing to be cruel and body-shame her. This forced my friend's husband to bring her sandals. Amy also looked at my nail color, then looked at my friend and told her "You should do that color instead. It's prettier." She was undermining my friend's choices and making her feel bad about herself throughout the entire appointment. Then she kept staring at my friend, waiting for a "thank you" for her unsolicited opinions. When we complained to management, they still made my friend pay full price and just said "We will talk to her." No real accountability. Then, as we made it to our cars, one of the managers yelled at us from across the parking lot "I'm so sorry!" When we didn't respond, she came over to my friend and hugged her without permission, saying "I left a note on your account for a discount the next time you come in. See you later," and then trotted off to her car. What should have been a special evening with friends before I move was ruined by Amy's unprofessional, disrespectful, and bullying behavior. Management's response was dismissive and inappropriate. Requested and paid for the 80-85 minute "Dominion Pedicure", they were running late, so my pedicure ended up being about 53 minutes...I told the mgr and he just shrugged and still charged me the 80minute pedicure, instead of adjusting it to the 50-60minute pedicure. read more

I got a regular manicure and their top $ pedicure- The experience wasn't bad, the people were friendly, the hot stone massage was great! it's been a little over a week and the manicure chipped so much I ended up just taking the polish off myself As for my pedicure, they clipped my nails in entirely too much, one has been bleeding off and on since I got it done- he clipped into the side of a nail, it bled, I yelped and the guy looked at me, dabbed the blood off and kept going. - I'm not local, but I wouldn't go back read more

Update: my nails are already chipped and it's been 6 days! Really wish I liked this place but the service and quality just don't match the atmosphere. The staff was so rude to our party. Made multiple negative and rude comments to us and personally made me uncomfortable. The woman who did my toes and nails seemed like she was in a rush and didn't have attention to detail when doing my nails. My thumbs came out uneven and multiple nails are misshapen and crooked. I think they could work on their customer service skills and attention to detail. Walked in and wanted to get shellac on my toes only the reception person was very kind but when it came to the actual tech that was going to do my toes i was immediately greeted with I don't want to do this or be here attitude and now I understand it's a small service but to have that attitude or just a displeasing vibe when I'm paying 35 dollars to essentially get my toes painted is insane to me. After the initial non greeting I was asked what color I wanted I had chosen a color that was on a board I was told rudely the color I had chosen was not a gel color and to pick from a different selection so I go and do that I don't like anything another tech comes to get my friend at this point my assigned tech has gone. My friend asks if they have anything in gel like the color I picked and the tech who came to get my friend pulls the exact color from the board I had originally chosen. At that point I'm put off but I stay there in the color area with my color while he take my friend to her seat as I stand there I see the tech who initially asked me what color leaning against the back wall looking displeased. My friend the notices this weird behavior and point it out to her tech he asks for a different tech for me I then proceed to sit in the chair next to my best friend and wait after some time a different associate walks up to me and asks me what I am getting I let him know the he and the rest of the staff proceed to look at my feet and speak in a different language in front of everyone loudly they all discourse and I sit there with my friend and then walk out this entire ordeal left me feeling terrible I would not recommend this place to anyone not to mention the people that have told me that they do really terrible work. I opted for the spa pedicure which was $39, but when I decided to use gel polish instead of regular - that tacked on another $20...a bit much in my opinion. The technician greeted me promptly and was very polite, got me a lovely mimosa, and made my water just perfect. My feet weren't terrible even after taking the winter off from pedicures, but I like to be pampered, so I wish the tech took more time with scrubbing and massaging and such. I had a really awful service today with Lily. I honestly could write three or more paragraphs on how uncomfortable I felt and full extent of the experience. She was constantly looking at her watch, texting, and left me to make a phone call. She did not support my desired service and made sure to tell me multiple times that what I wanted would "look really bad" and that she "did not like it at all". She told me to play on my phone and to stop watching because I couldn't relax my fingers enough. I felt like I was being Punk'd. My nails ended up uneven on top of that, but my heart hurts more from just my interactions today. I have given this salon 3 tries now and I always end up leaving disappointed and feeling anxious. They nail artist argued with me the whole time about how I wanted my nails shaped and designed. If A customer has a request just do as they wish. Telling them that the design is ugly and there way is better is not meeting you customer satisfaction goals trust me. My nails needed up bubbling, uneven and ugly. I was so upset I just paid and left. I even tipped bc where I come from two wrongs don't make a right. I spent over 200 at this salon. Had the absolute WORST EXPERIENCE AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I came in for a polish change and ombré dip powder. The lady who did my toes was super sweet, but didn't even completely finish and forgot the top coat. The man who did my nails was mad the entire time. Super aggressive with the nail file and was not personable at all. When he finished applying the dip to one hand there was an extremely harsh line and he proceeded to tell me "dip is hard to do ombré" when I had gotten that done many times here without any issues. He didn't even tell me anything and started aggressively removing the dip from my nails. He honestly was the happiest then when taking it off so he could go home. This establishment is an excellent example of a business opening that does all the right things. Over time, slowly digresses into a place where I'll never take my business again. in addition to the deteriorating services, because of the lack of consistency in their offerings, my family was recently prioritized, as not having enough time to do the services, because they valued a full service spend over a less of a service. There are a 100 different options, in San Antonio and I will gladly pay the premium price when this location first opened. However when it came to my manicure I was not very happy. She is too rough with the filing of the finger nails, to the point where the friction of the filing made my nails hot. Usually they always make finger nails squared and she didn't. Once I noticed I asked if she could still square them. Which she did, but keep in mind by then my nails were very short.
