This is the bill from the mechanics

I bought a car from here back in February in the last week of march while my wife and I were on a vacation in South Carolina the car died the day before we were supposed to leave for home, the car has been at a shop being worked on since then. I have had to have the engine replaced, the oil pump, the oil pan, and the turbo, between parts and labor the total cost was just under $11,000 the warranty they sold me only covered $3,000 of the new engine leaving me to pay the remainder of parts and labor out of pocket. The mechanics said that the pistons on the engine were scorched and that the oil pump had been most likely been broken for awhile, the dealership of course denied this. They haven't returned my calls since I called them around 3 weeks ago. I recommend taking your money and business elsewhere if you are in the market for a vehicle

They actually did right by us. Very impressive turnaround. We purchased a second vehicle as a result.

An unexpected road-trip detour this morning, but definitely a worthwhile one…read more We had to make an unscheduled side trip to Pinegar Honda in Springfield, Missouri, for B1 service on our Honda Odyssey. It added about an hour of drive time to our trip, plus another hour and 15 minutes for the service itself, but we prefer to do it by the book, and thankfully our Honda service plan covered everything. To make our 8:30 AM appointment, we had to get up at 5:30 local time in Rolla and get on the road early. Much of the drive to Springfield was through nearly two hours of rain, so it was a long and very early start to the day. The good news? The dealership was excellent, the service area was clean and well organized, and everything was handled smoothly. A fun surprise in the waiting area was an on-site donut case featuring St. George's Donuts, a true Springfield institution. Katy St. George first learned to make donuts in her father's shop in California, and in 1971 she and her husband Charles sold their business there and moved back to her hometown of Springfield, where they opened the first St. George's Donuts at Grand and Glenstone. It was a neat local touch to enjoy a bit of Springfield history while waiting for the service to be completed. After a 5:30 wake-up call and a rainy drive, that was a very welcome bonus. Sometimes road trips include unexpected stops, but when the service is good and the donuts are great, it all works out. Pinegar Honda 3520 S Campbell Ave Springfield, MO 65807

They were looking at minivans and so were we. We got out and looked at several minivans while another couple was also looking at them. We arrived about 55 minutes before they closed and no one came to greet us or the other couple. At least two salesman walked near our area and didn't say a word to us. One other guy literally had to park a van that had just been test driven back next to the vans we were standing near, and he walked away without saying a word to us. We kept looking and sitting in the vehicles we were interested in. I definitely wanted to take a test drive, but the salesmen couldn't be bothered to assist us. I will certainly not be chasing people down to give them my money, so back to Toyota we go, or maybe another Honda dealership. The two stars are just due to the fact that they had more than 1 minivan to look at. The customer service was non-existent.

My 2016 Chevrolet Equinox started pouring gas out all over the road so someone waved me down. I had…read moremy vehicle taken to a Meineke repair center at first. Because it was just 14 days outside of the 10-year / 150,000 mi warranty, I was told to ask for a Goodwill discount from GM. My vehicle only had 53,000 mi on it so was far under the 150,000 mi and then for it to just be 14 days outside of the warranty when there was a manufacturer issue that led to a TPM because they installed the fuel hose underneath the gas tank, which not only makes it more expensive to repair because they have to take out the entire gas tank to replace a hose, but it wears a hole in the hose. They were aware of this issue and had it notify people. So mine was just 14 days out and they said when I talk to them that they would do a goodwill discount but I would need to have it taken to a Chevrolet or GM repair center so that they can make sure that was the issue. So I had it towed to the "Reliable Chevrolet". They said that they were busy so they would work it in whenever they had an opening but it might be until a week later that they could work on it. So I called back a week later to see what the status was. They couldn't find my vehicle. They never bothered to register it in their system despite knowing it was coming and the tow company giving them the keys to the vehicle and it being on their lot. After denying they had it for a while, they finally found it. So they do the diagnostic and charge me like $200 for that but said it would go towards the cost of repairs, which was to be covered by the GM Goodwill discount. GM says that they were going to call once the diagnostic was done. Waited over 24 hours and they still hadn't called. Finally, they do call and say they're doing $0 coverage and their estimate was $400 more than Meineke was. They offer to knock the price down $200 if I get the repair there, but they won't let me take my car without paying their $200 diagnostic fee. Meineke didn't even charge me a diagnostic fee because they found the problem so fast but they didn't charge me anything for it. So they tell me it's going to be about $700 with the discount and then send me the forms to sign to authorize it, but the form show $880. They charged some $95 shop fee as well. They agreed to waive that, but then don't update the estimate to show that they were actually going to delete it. They have basically guaranteed I am never going to buy a Chevrolet again, any GM, and I'm certainly never taking it back to repair at any location of theirs ever. Update: watch them pretend to care in the comments but they did absolutely nothing to actually help fix the issue. They're extremely disingenuous and saying that only to make others seeing the reviews think they care. They don't.

I liked that those who worked elsewhere were helping (Kristina). Excellent teamwork by her. But maybe a line for appointments and those without to decrease chaos. The driver home was very friendly and kind so he was a positive. I never heard anything about my car regarding things that needed attention or if it was doing well. Nothing at all from my service tech. Charging the 3% credit card fee is absolutely ridiculous for a large company. Eat the cost and keep people happy. No wonder people drive to Fayetteville for servicing their Subarus. When I had my key I walked out to get in my WHITE SUBARU (in a Subaru lot) and hit the key fob. Not seeing my car I went back in and asked where it was parked only to be told they didn't know and to walk around hitting the button. I have a broken leg. That's legendary service right there. One gentleman did come out as I found my car. I asked him why it wasn't washed today and he said because it rained. It hadn't rained for 2 hours at that point. Wash the car. Go above the standard a tiny bit. Will not be back. Their response: Jessica, I understand your frustration with the chaos, lack of communication from Casey Kelley, the credit card fee, and the car wash issue with your SUBA OUT.
