They were also very efficient with take out orders. *Sunset Bowl: featured an acai base topped with mango, kiwi, and goji berries. The fruit was fresh but quite tart, which was not surprising given the use of tropical fruits during winter. There was a generous amount of goji berries, though they were fairly dry and chewy. The acai itself was sweet, smooth, and standard. For the price, the quality was sufficient. However, I hope they add a binder or sauce to better tie the bowl together. I wished my kitchen smelled like this store front. The freshness in air is real and i say this because i have gone to other similar business where the odor of old/rotten vegetables linger. Nevera Juice Bar has become my go to Juice bar as it's close to my job in Downtown Fresno. In my work area there's not a lot of healthy options so when I found this place I was stoked 100%. Sometimes I don't want food. I just want a delicious smoothie and Nevera does the trick. I came here about 3 times. Each time I am greeted as I walk in the door even when they are swamped with orders. Staff is absolutely friendly and kind. Very patient as sometimes I don't know what I want or I am sorting through the ingredients to make sure it won't set my digestive disorder out of wack! Inside is very small. No tables inside but outside they have seating. However enough for standing or waiting. So far I have been getting the Almond Berry which is my favorite drink by far. I love that you can choose your milk options and add ins. They also have healthy foods. They have an app where you can get rewards too. You can even get a free smoothie too! I love this place, but I don't think I'll be back. I drive out to this location from clovis looking forward to my fresh juice every Tuesday. They have their buy one get one half off so I think it's worth it. The last two times I've ordered my juice I have been shorted about 2-3 oz on my cup. And if you're charging $8.99 for 24oz you should definitely fill up the juice to the top. The lady even noticed the juice was way below the top and she shakes it up before handing it to me so the foam could make it look like my cup was full. Very disappointed honestly. read more

I came in during the morning time to get an açaí bowl. I work walking distance from this place and can't believe I kept forgetting it was there. I've had this place booked marked for a while. I was craving a fruit bowl. I love the fruit cups at the Cherry Auction, or those large baskets of fruit at Green Crush, but I was working and not near either one of those locations. I found Nevera, and I've noticed this place before, but I thought they only made juices or smoothies. I placed my order online for pick up. I ordered a tropical fruit cup for $5.99. I liked that you can customize online which fruit you want in your cup. I also ordered a turkey spinach wrap. It was very filling. You can also customize the spinach wrap online. It comes with Spinach tortilla, provolone cheese, tomato, avocado, chipotle, lettuce, choice of meat. The wrap meal is $7.99 and it also comes with a side of pickled jalapenos and carrots and a mini fruit cup. Then, I ordered a watermelon agua fresca for $3.99. This too was delicious. The agua fresca's are yummy at Green Crush, but they seem to be a little too sweet. This one was perfectly sweetened and refreshing on a brutely hot day in Fresno. It was a healthy and extremely hearty lunch. It can get a tad busy during lunch time, but there is a lot of parking lots or street/metered parking nearby on Kern street. read more

My daughter and I stopped in for a cool treat yesterday. During this COVID chaos, Normally I would have gone in alone to order but we've never been here before so she got off. We came in around 1:30 and it was pretty busy, they obviously have regulars. Sometimes in those situations, newbies can be ignored. Not here even though it was a little difficult to keep track of who was next. I was a little overwhelmed at the customization of the drinks and the gal was very patient and even made a suggestion. I appreciated that. I was surprised to find Mexican snacks like bionicos- I'll have to remember that for next time. She ordered a chocolate peanut butter smoothie. It was really good but also tasted "healthy." I wanted an agua fresca and was so happy when she said I could have any juices in it, I was so happy lol. I went with cucumber and kiwi. It looked off just because those particular juices separate but I didn't care how it looked, I loved that it was pure juice water and sugar. It was really sweet. I've been spending a lot of time in Downtown Fresno in the mornings, and it's super convenient for me to order in the app and pick up my protein shake on my way out when I'm short on time. The flavors are good, I like the selections and customizations. There are several non dairy base options, and you can choose your sweetener or even choose to have no sweetener (which I do). They're always friendly and quick to make my order and stick it in the cooler while I'm en route. I've had way smaller cups go for the same price if not more. They have a great lunch combo which you can choose an entree and a medium juice for just $9.99! Learned that Nevera is a franchise with other locations. Juices were refreshing. The ginger shot was watery, kind of light tinted yellow, but not as vibrant or ginger forward as I'm used to. Spinach wrap was ok, not as full as the photos. Bowl my husband got was ok. What kinda peeved me is while inside waiting the prices are different than if you order at the register versus online. I could understand if using DoorDash or Uber, but to mobile order on your website and be charged more wasn't cool in my book. read more

It's become my new daily stop after a workout. As far as prices go its about 6-6.50 for a smoothie depending on what you get. Super delicious and fresh smoothies. I always enjoy the kiwi strawberry smoothie. They do use fresh fruit though, so they need to be more careful about using good fruit. I actually use to like this place based on their juices; but unfortunately I have to rate them very low; if I could give a 0 on this visit, I wish I could. I recently placed an order over the phone for pickup. I advised that I had a SEVERE TREE NUT ALLERGY. I was assure that their wouldn't be any cross contamination on my food and they would be careful. It was on my receipt also. After picking up my food on my lunch break, I was about to eat a tuna wrap from there, thankfully I looked at my food and I saw they had PECANS throughout my entire tuna wrap. Had I ate what was given to me, I would not be able to leave this review to warn others about this HUGE incident that could have taken my life. I called the establishment and they refunded my money and apologized, and said that the tuna I order has pecans, it's not in their menu, website nor was I told that information when I told the person who took my order that I'm severely allergic.
