I will say that I am sad that I live so far because this is my number 1 spot for an açaí bowl. CBD honey is a HUGE plus and I love all of the topping varities. I met with a friend here this morning to grab some açaí bowls for breakfast. Neither of us had stopped by before and we were so happy that we did! The store itself is clean, bright and open with plenty of seating and some great artwork. There is also local art and tea blends available to purchase. The staff member who helped us was very friendly and walked us through the options available today as they were out of their açaí base. We chose alternatives and ended up with a Tower bowl (sub lavender/coconut base and added cbd honey) and a build your own bowl (sub pineapple base and added cbd honey). The bowls were SO. FLAVORFUL. I didn't like acai bowls bc the ones I've bought in the past did not taste like much. But this place does it differently. U don't even need the extra drizzle of sweetener to add sweetness, the fruits and the base as well as the toppings all taste so ripe. Even the coconut shavings tastes strongly of coconut (not overbearing). It was so addicting I ordered twice. Ambience was chill, no one rushing about although there were a lot of orders it still felt peaceful. Admist a busy lobby the workers are still present w each person. Fair prices. I ordered açaí bowls from here as my old favorite was closed for the holiday, and I'm thinking I might have a new favorite! The açaí bowls are freshly made upon order and you can watch as they are created. I chose the Tower Bowl, which had açaí, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, coconut and granola. I opted for a bit of honey, also. It was just wonderful. Not too sweet, not too tart, and just what I was hoping for. My granddaughter had the made to order bowl, which is a great option as you can choose whatever you'd like from a good selection of options. Came back to be a little disappointed with the limitations back in place. That part and the extra cost for peanut butter is where this place faults. I still stand on the point that a shake of powder shouldn't cost me $0.50 each. I liked to support this place for the time being but for now I will not be coming back. The service however is great, and the ambiance and environment is always clean and pleasant. Just not going to be used to the changes here just as I have been here before the changes happened. I get the tower bowl their peanut butter is so good it's homemade incredibly delicious, I make ensure everytime to double up on the PB on my bowl. The inside is calm, cozy, overall great spot to post up and chill while you eat. Usually I sit outside when the weather isn't blazing hot. Outside is nice the tower district always has something to see. The service is cool nothing outrageous on a scale from 1-10 they would be mid around a 6.5-7 they greet you and call your name when it's done, sometimes you have to ask them for things and they will point to where they are. They did mess up on my açaí bowl a few times but they always get it back right which is cool. I will continue my patronizing with this establishment because they did their big one by brining healthy food to this area so I'm grateful For their thoughtful service of wellbeing . When I'm sick I'm dropping in for a smoothie and ginger shot and it gets me right everytime! Their protein smoothie will keep you on full for a very long time I dropped in before work and didn't eat again until late dinner so definitely worth it when your on the Go. The Energy smoothie is made with almond milk, orange juice, blueberries, strawberries, pineapple, beet powder, and honey. I also added a boost of protein powder for an extra burst of energy. Stopped in a while back for a Yelp event and finally was able to make my way back. Probably one of the best açaí bowls I've had. There wasn't a wait or anything since I came in close to closing. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. There's art and some cool stuff you can purchase from the wall that are from local artists. The dining area is clean and inviting. They have music playing but it's not super loud so it would be a cool place to just hang and relax or even study. I wish they had a location closer to Herndon and 99. The flavors were really fresh and bright, and everything melded together well. I wasn't sure I'd love all of the standard ingredients, but it turns out they know what they're doing here. The staff were helpful and friendly and answered all of my questions kindly. My food was ready quicker than I expected with the other customers ahead of me. I also had the Lavender Sorbet with Overnight Oats - basically oatmeal in sorbet - and that was pleasantly delightful. My company both had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and the Power Protein smoothie, which they each loved and expressed wanting to get again. The prices were awfully reasonable for the astounding quality of flavor and portions. I may have to try that sandwich next time if I can decide to forgo the wrap. Each ingredient in the açaí bowls held its own but we were disappointed with the small amount of açaí. The initial spoonfuls only contained the toppings which would have been fine if I had ordered a granola cup. This could easily become a 4-5 star açaí bowl by increasing its namesake ingredient. Too light and the hunger pains distract your train of thought. I'm glad to have found a good balance with the Tower Blendz crew. Not to mention I have been getting loyalty rewards on each order! I have really enjoyed their combo meals as well. If it is super hot I usually go with the Protein combo. It is an Acai bowl filled with fruits and peanut or almond butter. It also comes with a protein shake. By far my go to though has been the Fill Up combo. It is 13 bucks and includes a well filled, well wrapped chicken wrap (chicken, avocado, corn, mushrooms, lettuce, tomato) with the dressing of choice (my rank: 1. Spicy soy sauce 2. Cilantro dressing 3. Peanut dressing 4. Cilantro and spicy soy!) and a Green smoothie. If you don't want the drink, I opt for a build your own salad or wrap.
