When we were explaining the trimming I realized Kelly had a huge attitude. When we picked them I just couldn't believe it they were butchered and unevenly. My cat (like most cats) hate car rides and hate vets offices. Dr Lori is a mobile vet based out of the Lansing area. I was a bit out of her normal service area but she still agreed to come out to my house. Having to put my cat to sleep was the hardest decision I have ever had to make. But being able to do it at home where my cat was not stressed or upset made it a bit easier and helped me feel less guilty. Dr Lori and her assistant (i cant remember her name but wish i could) were both very kind. They took the time to explain everything to me and also they allowed me as much time as i need to say goodbye to my cat. i never felt rushed at all. I honestly can not say enough good things about the them. I am so thankful i found them and they were able to help me and my cat. Setting up the appointment was very easy. I did it thru email (i was having a difficult time bringing myself to call so being able to email made it much easier for me, however u can also call to schedule appointment). They were right on time. I felt there prices were very reasonable and fair and really hardly any more than what i had been paying my normal vet. I would highly recommend Dr Lori . She was very professional and polite. They do almost everything that any vet office that you go to would do. Basically the only difference is there office is on wheels. Normally when they come to your house you take your pet outside and into there mobile unit (its kinda like a motor home) but because of the service i was having done they came into my home. I am forever grateful to Dr. Lori for being able to let my cat pass peacefully and stress free.

What intrigued me about Granny's - #1 - She 'interviews' you and your dog before accepting. If she feels that your dog is too aggressive, she won't board.(My dogs and I spent over an hour with her, getting to know her and her place, and interviewing her as well.) #2 - She has been boarding dogs for 17 years - SHE KNOWS DOGS #3 - Her back yard is better than any dog park I've seen. Totally enclosed. Mowed and kept. #4 - If your pooch wants to sleep in her bed - that's great! Good to know: Michelle loves dogs and their health and happiness and well being are all in her best interest. DO NOT expect your dog to come home groomed and smelling pretty! (That's a minor thing.) Final Words: This was my first time boarding my babies (yorkies) with Michelle. When I HAVE to leave them again, it will definitely be with Granny's Pet Care. - They came home so happy, and healthy (and I gave them baths . .. . . . ) lol

She has a great sense of humor and makes training so much fun. Chico and Zorro thrived under her instruction and loved going each week. Beth cannot handle her own schedule and does not show up to work. And hey, maybe Beth does have 8000 family and personal problems. That's not my business. What is my business is my dog, who goes weeks without any form of consistency. Beth is great short term. Im talking 2-3 classes. But any more than that and you're at risk for serial cancelations. Beth is very knowledgeable. Day one she will assess your dog. I like this. She will tell you where you're at and tailor your dogs program. Beth works on the weekends. Do not cancel things for her because she will not cancel things for you. After a year my dog still has not learned the things he needs to be a therapy dog, which may be partially due to temperament but definitely has something to do with the consistency. Edit for response: at least 2-3 of our original 8, which we didn't get, were 20 minutes long. Not okay. I'd say we got 6-7 before we were thrown into general group classes. And not even 6-7 full classes. Two were review of the test. Umm- I think I can read!!! Not worth those classes!
