At age 4 she joined the competition team and began taking a variety of classes with different instructors. Premiere has been a place where she's been given the opportunity to grow and be challenged as a dancer and performer, while also maintaining her passion in the art. This year is my daughter's 4th year on the competition team. I have already seen so much improvement on her skills. The high quality instructors are incredibly impressive, and do a great job making use of the full lesson time. The instructor's passion for dancing and teaching definitely rubs off on the students in such a positive way. The instructors that she's taking classes from are exceptional and each bring out growth opportunities for my daughter, while maintaining the appropriate level fun. Premiere Dance Center has been my daughter's second home for years and we look forward to many more to come. I also take adult dance classes at Premiere and have really enjoyed these. There's a nice variety of classes to choose from, in different styles. The instructors do a great job of adjusting the lesson to the skill level of dancers in the class. I highly recommend any adult dancer to try these classes. Overall, I'd highly recommend bringing your children to Premiere Dance Center or taking adult classes yourselves. It's a great environment full of great instruction, good friends, and fun.

I wished they had cubbies for storing your stuff in the dance room instead of in a separate storage room. People in the class all just brought their belongings to the dance room, and many ended up being on the floor and could be obstacles when dancing with a large group as we did.

The Scene I was a guest here for a five year old girls birthday from 1-3 PM. The child's class was invited and it was a mix of girls and boys. The format was, sit in a circle, introduce each other, start practicing lyrics and gestures to a song. Kids all go to the bathroom as a group. Eat Pizza / Fruit / Cake. Parents stand in a line behind a table. Performance of two songs. Some observations: Some kids were warmer uppers, like mine. They suggested I could sit in the circle with my kiddo to help her get acclimated. We were 6 minutes late. I did sit for a bit, but had to move to a chair. I did suggest my kid go and talk to a teacher and that seemed to help. There were two boys who kept playing outside the circle and not paying attention and following the rules. I was a bit bothered by this and am not sure what should have happened. 1. I wondered why the parents weren't encouraging their kids to participate. Was it because they were boys? And boys don't need to participate and follow instructions? 2. Why weren't the teachers trying to encourage the boys to participate? Were they assuming that because this was Disney princesses they wouldn't want to? All in all, I can't see everyone ignoring two girls not paying attention and doing their own thing and distracting the group. I feel like boys should be looked after and encouraged just as much as girls. While yes, the parents should have maybe done something, in situations like this, I try not to jump in, and assume the people who are being paid to run a two our event can work to include everyone. Loved that they had all of the kids go to the bathroom. Smart. One of the teachers seemed new, and didn't quite know the songs, she was looking at the more experienced teacher most of the time for guidance. I could see this made the students not know if they should look at her, or look at the obvious leader. Thought they could have done one dress rehearsal before showing the parents. Only one boy participated out of a group of aprox 25. 5-6 boys stood there. To me, this is a failure of inclusion.
