I had a specific model sneaker in mind . The minute I walked in a young man ( Jacob) instantly stepped forward to greet me ! Zero wait time ! Jacob was outgoing, polite and professional. He actually took the time to measure my feet to insure proper fit! He unpacked the sneakers , opened them and presented them so I could easily try them on . A pleasant exchange start to finish ! I understand if the store is busy. I understand if staff is helping customers. What I don't understand is when the store has 1 customer being helped and I walk in and the 2nd sales associate who is doing nothing but fiddling with the computer doesn't - look up, greet me, offer to help me. Then I walk over, with the sneaker that i'd like to purchase in hand, ask if he can help me - and he says not yet! So since no one cared to make a sale I walked out of the store. As a runner, I buy 2, 3, 4 pairs af sneakers at a time. Some manager or store owner who actually cares about customers and work ethic, needs to train their staff. read more

I have been a long term customer if Shoes 'n More, particularly the one in Rye. the service and products are both wonderful. I have always loved Carol. She is so helpful and not over bearing. recently, I have met Kerri who is also lovely and had great energy. I want to highlight Jasmine. I noticed a significant difference in the layout of the store and that it was too crowded which enabled you to see what was on the racks much mire. I think Jasmine has an eye for clothing and reakkt great taste as a buyer. Huge kudos to Jasmine. I even noticed when I went to a store across the street, it was so crowded and it was hard to even look at things. I cannot emphasize enough what a huge difference Jasmine has made. unfortunately, I have also noticed that the prices keep going up and it makes it not as approachable as it used to be. read more

Unfortunately, I was recommended by my son's foot doctor, Dr. Knee, to purchase his sneakers from this specific New Balance store located at 350 Tarrytown RD, White Plains, NY 10607, to get the orthopedic sneakers he needs for his chronic foot problems. I made a purchase on or around October 2025. Recently my son had a Phvsical Education class outdoors, which was muddy due to the rainfall that same week. The sneakers had to be washed to remove the mud. After placing them in the washing machine, they came out damaged to the point where they cannot be worn anymore. It's as if the wire or metal on the side of the sneakers bent and cannot return to its normal upright position. After reaching out to the store, I was told by the store manager that there was nothing that could be done as I shouldn't have washed the sneakers. However, he would speak to his boss and get back to me. I waited for over two weeks and still have not heard from the store manager. I called earlier today, 02/08/26, and was told by the same manager that both he and his boss decided not to replace the sneakers because I was not supposed to wash them. Mind you, no care regimen was given to me to follow when cleaning the sneakers. Not to mention, all my son's prior New Balance sneakers have been washed, and none have ever been damaged before this one. I will now contact the BBB and the manufacturer and lodge a complaint against the retailer who is using their name and bringing negative light to their products. As well. I will inform Dr. Knee of my experience with this store and remind him not to send his patients there. Now my son is left without his prescribed shoe which will only further effect his chronic foot problems. read more

Salesman knew his stuff. He fit me properly explaining that my foot had widened since the last sneaker I bought and I was immediately more comfortable. The store didn't have the color I wanted, but he was able to order it for me and had it send to my house for free. The only complaint I have is that the floor is quite slippery, so you can easily slip and fall if you try to walk over to the computer desk while in your stocking feet--as I learned the hard way. Interior has a good balance of new balance footware and accessories, apparel , etc and the no pressure to buy atmosphere was a welcome change .The prices are reasonable and the store width sale made me spend little more then expected.I got the pair which was the reason I came here and my two pairs are sneaker casual and sporty walking style and nothing garish or wild looking . However I've recently become even more impressed after learning that they have a trained podiatrist, Scott, who can really offer great guidance if you are looking for shoes that offer more support for your feet. I was shopping there recently and was helped by Chris who took extra time to make sure that my new tennis sneakers were the best fit for my feet. And a few days later my wife decided that rather than shop on line, she'd get the benefit of their expert team of shoe experts! I went to New Balance on Tarrytown Rd with my friend Melvin. Melvin is 94 years young and has arthritis on one of his toes. It makes finding shoes that are comfortable a big challenge. Until today, Melvin has had to mix shoes. George exhibited tremendous care and professionalism, bringing pair after pair for Melvin until we found the pair that fit him best. I was promptly greeted by Leo, he answered every question I had about the shoe I was looking at and help me try on several other pair to make sure I was buying the right one. Unfortunately they did not have the color that I wanted in the 1540 model but he helped me place an order online and have it shipped to me. I've come here twice to get sneakers (pre and post foot surgery) and needed some special assistance finding the right shoe for my broken and then healing foot. Both times the employees were friendly and knowledgeable. They also give you a 30-day return window, even if you wear the shoes. Helpful when you are working with an injury and aren't sure what size or width will end up working best. The store is small, but they carry a decent selection of NB running and walking sneakers, as well as some running gear and exercise stuff. read more

Before I stopped by this store, I visited Foot Locker and Foot Action in Galleria. To my surprise, both locations didn't have Women's New Balance. I find that very strange since they had Men's section. Anyways, they didn't have the running shoes I was looking because it was outdated. I called earlier in the day for advise on a sneaker for my job. I am not sure who I spoke to (sorry) but she couldn't have been more helpful. She explained the different styles and gave me great advise. I went to the store (traveled down from Dutchess County) and Marquis helped me. I was surprised they put the sneakers on you like back in the day and he was so patient and helpful. I purchased them (my second choice, they did have my first) but then when I got home I really wanted my first choice. No sales pressure, and they were very happy to let me try on a bunch of styles to help figure out what I liked. Nothing less than perfect at this New Balance location. I have come in here twice to get both shoes for myself and as a gift for someone. Both times Devon has helped me and he was nothing short of excellent. The first pair of shoes he helped pick out for me have helped me train for my first marathon. This place is ok. It is very easy to get to in the heart of Greenburgh. The staff is friendly enough and it has many selections of shoes for New Balance. The store is a little over priced for shoes you can get on Zappos.com for less. It also just doesn't have the feel of a Lululemon grade place which you would expect for the prices. They will measure your foot and make suggestions on shoes but can be a little pushy for sales. I am not saying the sales people are like Al Bundy at all (which might help bring some personality to this place).
