I was instantly greeted with an overwhelming amount of hugs and welcomes. Please don't let the size of this church intimidate you. It seems like everyone knows everyone. If you are a first time guest, you will be treated like a Queen/King and that treatment never goes away. I had a home church before IBOC and all it took was 3 visits to hear the amazing word of God from Pastor Rush. I joined on my 3rd visit and have been a member ever since. There is something for everyone. IBOC believes in giving back to the community and putting God first. The most important thing is not only hearing a word from God, but teaching and mentoring our you and keeping our seniors protected under God's grace. IBOC has recently built a school called the University of Dreams. UofD inspiration is backed by opening a school to close a prison. The mission is driven by teaching kids how to read, write and learn all while having God present. Teaching the bible and the practice of prayer is very important to this campus. The teachers are all men and women of God, who not only server our Lord, but educate our children into being future leaders of this country. And don't forget to get your praise on. IBOC has the baddest choir in the land. You will stand on your feet before our GOD and praise for 30 minutes to an hour! There is a men's, women's, kids and blended choir that are all featured different weeks! Currently there is just one service on Sundays, it's at 10:00AM followed by Monday School at 7:00PM. Monday School is a continued lesson from Sunday which breaks down the lesson in an educational format lead by Pastor Rush. And if you love to eat and receive a word from God, IBOC has a new theme that's kind of like Studio Movie Grill. Sunday's you can reserve a space to dine and get the word. Please check the website for more details on all you can eat and Sunday fellowship for seating and spacing. If you are a first time visitor, IBOC has special parking for first time guest, so to drive straight to the front. You will always receive coming and going lots of friendly smiles and waves as you are greeted by the parking lot crew. So be sure to wave hello and goodbye. The church is always clean, the amazing women and men of God keep this place in immaculate shape. I have never seen so much as a piece of tissue on the floor. You can tell everyone that serves here loves IBOC and God. The faith of every member is poured into this humble ground of fellowship. There are so many committees to serve on if you want to be more involved. You will always feel like family here. Pastor Rush is full of high energy. You will notice that the lessons he teaches are always going to be based upon the Word from God. Which comes from the Bible. They are never his opinions. Pastor Rush, a former educator teaches and inspires God's children to have a complete breakdown of God's Word by his illustrations both visually and verbally. The sanctuary is an open classroom where not only we all are able to listen but ask questions too! We are a note taking church, so be sure to bring a notepad and pen. Expect hugs, to laugh and cry. And I always say, heels are not your friend in this church. You will be on your feet almost the entire time there!!!! IBOC is also an ON TIME church. So be on time, and service is simply over when its over. After be sure to check out the 80,000 gallon fish tank. Sharks, Rays, and big fish are just floating in this beautiful tank. With the IBOC divers, you can take pictures and keep as a beautiful memory. Once you finish being in awe at the fish tank, IBOC has it's own store called The Deep. There is something for everyone in this store. From fashion for kids, men and women to the cool merchandise you can purchase for keepsake, you will want to for sure drop in. This gospel experience is like nothing you will ever imagine. The love that's in the church is so incredible. The first Sunday of every month women wear white, every 5th Sunday the kids choir sings, every Friday night men have fellowship and there is always something going on during the week.
