It's very comforting as a parent knowing your child is in great hands and be cared for by loving individuals. The teachers are very informative. They believe in thoroughly communicating with parents. Then we did the exhibit hall. You go through each exhibit. You cannot go just to the exhibits you are interested in- it is pretty one way, from start to finish... which was quite unfortunate for my 4 yo as she turned the corner and saw a giant robotic t-rex start roaring and moving. But the exhibits were very educational. I LOVED THE SCIENCE AND HISTORY they present here. My favorite was the Hall of the Founders of Science. The restrooms were very clean and well stocked. There are vending machines, but no food services. But that's okay, we went out to lunch nearby afterwards. They also have lectures- check their website for showtimes and special events!

I remember a teacher having us attend a pro-life club meeting in which we were shown a video comparing abortion to the Holocaust (I was only 12 at the time and had just learned what abortion was). Additionally, there was a girl in my class who, still being a big Christian, very openly believed in evolution. Virtually all the other students in my class (and some even from other grades) made fun of her for it, and the teachers never did anything about it.
