I was informed that a random doctor on call would delivery my baby, and I could not meet the physician prior. As I was searching for a decent physician I came across this office. When I called the woman at the desk was impatient. She informed me I would not be seen for at least two months, the doctor would need all my records, review the records, and decide if he would take me as a patient. I tried to expedite my records by seeing how I could assist. She informed me they would get my records from my previous office. Since it's been over two weeks and no one has contacted me about a records release. I assume I should just keep shopping or take whatever kind of care i can get and hope for the best. That's healthcare in America.

I scheduled an appointment seeking compassionate guidance for a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean). To my surprise--and dismay--Dr. Michael D. Kelly and his nurse practitioner denied me service without even reviewing my medical history. My last C-section was six years ago, yet instead of taking the time to listen, Dr. Kelly dismissed my request outright. As a patient, I expect at least a thoughtful conversation. Instead, I felt rushed, unheard, and judged--like I was being penalized for asserting what I believe to be a reasonable birth plan. The nurse practitioner's bedside manner only deepened my frustration; their off-putting demeanor made an already stressful moment feel untenable. At the very least, I hoped for professionalism and empathy. What I encountered felt the opposite. Seeking a respectful discussion about VBAC shouldn't result in denial of care--but here, it did. Between the feel ups after my exam was completed while the female who stood in the room with him turned her back to put away the tools used and the inappropriate staring / assistance insisting on helping turn my gown around when I was fully capable of doing myself but he insisted and stared at my nude body and joked about not seeing anything. In addition I've also never had an office do as much as possible to charge you and force you to come in for results to gouge more money out of you. Then to have such an out of date system you're standing there for 15 minutes just trying to get the card reader to take your payment. After vocalizing the inappropriate behavior presented by dr Morgan and confided in another doctor about what I experienced the whole office even the front desk lady knew about what I in confidence confided. At that point, I decided to leave, I'm not going to wait close to an hour for a practice that doesn't prioritize patient care or communication. To make matters worse, I am still waiting on my lab results. They confirmed the results were received on the 8th, yet I have not received any follow-up or evaluation. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, and I would recommend considering another provider. Previous Update: I previously left a review for New Wave Physicians Group and, unfortunately, I'm updating it again out of frustration. In my original review, I mentioned that my experiences with Dr. Carder and Dr. Troung were positive, they were both professional, attentive, and helpful during my visits. However, I also noted ongoing issues with the front office staff, and those problems have only gotten worse. It is extremely difficult to reach anyone by phone. Calls often go unanswered, and when someone does pick up, it feels like a rare occurrence. I've had to call repeatedly at different times of the day just to speak with someone, and on multiple occasions I've been placed on hold and then disconnected. More concerning is what happened after my most recent appointment with Dr. Carder. I went in for serious symptoms, had an EKG performed, and completed lab work. I specifically asked how I would receive my results and what the next steps would be regarding treatment or medication. I was told I would receive a phone call, but that never happened. After calling over 50 times, I finally reached someone who informed me that my results had been available for quite some time but had not even been reviewed. I also followed up on a sleep study that was discussed during my visit, only to find out it had not been submitted. The medications I was told would be prescribed were never sent to the pharmacy either. On top of all of this, I still don't have access to the patient portal. Despite multiple attempts to get assistance from the office staff, no one has been able to help me get it set up. These issues have been ongoing and are now affecting my ability to receive timely care. I've been told more than once that i need to see the doctor for a refill, despite having literally just been in his office 30 days ago. We're talking about meds i've been on for 4 years. Birth Control. Blood Pressure. Cholesterol meds. And I very regularly have to fight the incompetent office staff about the fact it's NOT time for another visit yet. They're constantly trying to milk me like a cash cow. Right now i've been off my meds for 2 weeks, diligently trying to reach the Doctor. But no messages ever get to him. I'm told i need to be in office to get a refill on my birth control, i saw him 7 months ago. It's not a controlled substance. I should not need to be seen more than once a year for this. I also had problems with the Nurse practitioner forcibly pulling me OFF my medication without my consent, despite being IN AN ACTUAL APPOINTMENT WITH THE DOCTOR AT THE TIME SHE TRIED TO MAKE THIS CHANGE WITHOUT EITHER OF OUR CONSENT. i feel like my health is being held hostage by someone with a ledger and a red pen in the back office.

By the way, I called the emergency line 7 weeks after a c-section when I was bleeding through pads and puppy pads on the bed and the doctor on call told me if I was that worried about it then I should just go to the ER, without so much as a concern to call my primary doctor. Within 48 hours I was on life support with Leukemia, so yeah thank you for wonderful service.

THEN this 20 something barely out of diapers much less any kind of medical training has to step in with some nonsense of "well it is within 15 min of your appt - you just must have arrived early!" I tuned out the rest of her diatribe...no lady my time keeper says it's now 25 min past my appt... Get into the room and get asked about my meds 3 of the 5 should already be on file and I get chastised like a child for not knowing precisely what milligrams of each of five medications I am on I am ingesting. And that next time I should cart them with me so they'll know. Uhm call me later when I'm at home {so my meds aren't exposed to wild temperature changes in the car} and I'll tell you and it will be in my file so we never have to discuss it again. I sit in the room basically ignored for almost half an hour when there are 3 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners in this office. I'm being assaulted by cheesmo 50's music in the exam room. I actually had enough time to almost fall asleep 3 times on the exam table. Finally when I get back from using the toilet the NP is in there she looks me over decides on drugs and vanishes. I sit for another 10 min waiting for the paperwork for the 'scripts and check out to arrive. 8:30 am appt and I didn't leave until nearly 10 am If I didn't think it would be no different at any other GP's office I'd switch but why bother to get more of the same old same old
