This is really a take out restaurant with some tables inside to enjoy your food. I wanted a bite to eat so I stopped at this small hole in the wall. The parking is not that great but it was not that busy so I got a spot in the small parking lot. The variety on the menu is great- something to eat for everyone. The food was sooo hot and fresh. The hot and Sour soup had a strong umami flavor and needed a bit more salt- which is an easy fix. The chix and garlic was a bit sweet but very tasty. The chix wing and spareribs were good but wish I had more. But the rice was really good. The prices are good - def worth the 17$. Overall a good experience and I would def come back again. read more

Good food always never no issues, love their chicken wings with tostones. This Chinese spot in the hood even though you can stop at at least 5-6 Chinese spots within a 4-5 minute ride radius. This by far is my spot and has been for years. Take out spot couple tables in small area in restaurant but if had bigger space with bigger dining area def would be a lot more popular. read more

Been a long time customer, but last experience was VERY disappointing. Ordered food on Christmas Eve, told 40 minute wait, after an hour food still wasn't ready. I'm convinced they don't start cooking until you actually arrive. Broth in the won ton soup was tasteless, had nothing to do with soup. ( In all fairness, dumplings were pretty decent) Ordered General Tso's chicken combo, extra spicy. ( Something they normally excel at) Food was bland and tasteless. Combo was supposed to come with a crab Rangoon appetizer, instead they charged me for a full order ( an extra $8). Sorry guys, you need to get your act together, or you're going to loose a long time customer. Had this been my first experience at this restaurant, it would have been my LAST. Absolutely love this place! The food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and prices have stayed fair and consistent over the years. Best Chinese might be my new go-to Chinese restaurant in the area. You get total hole-in-the-wall vibes and I love supporting hardworking families. They have a simple menu with your typical Chinese offerings. You can call ahead to place an order for pickup. Prices are reasonable, they have lunch specials, and portion sizes are generous. There's currently no seating available inside, plus it's a pretty small space anyway so I probably wouldn't want to dine in anyway. Parking is also very tight with really only parking for like 2 cars. But overall, a great place to order take-out! read more

I have to admit, my very negative perception of this place judging from how it looks on the outside while driving by was very wrong. I would never have considered getting food from here as it appeared filthy and extremely dicey. Yesterday I was doing errands very nearby and had planned to order takeout from a Chinese place across town. I was looking for the menu and phone number of that place but Best Chinese popped up first since I was so near. I decided to take a chance. This paid off. The chicken with cashew nuts was freshly made and piping hot even after driving home. Yes, the place looked rather squalid inside as it does on the outside but I could see that the kitchen was nice and clean. I will order some other dishes along with my family and we can give it another try just to be sure, but in general, it seems like a great new substitute for our former local neighborhood spot that recently closed. read more

I was in Worcester and came home after taking the Freedom Trail tour and was hungry for Chinese food. My wife saw a sign saying Best Chinese restaurant and suggested that I check them out. I drove around and saw that the lights were still on and I pulled into the parking lot. The place looked like a dump, but I went inside anyway. The staff was really nice and even though it was after 11:00 pm, they took my order anyway. I order Mongolian beef and shrimp fried rice. It was the bomb and they gave us plenty of shrimp and plenty beef. I also ordered some egg rolls and they were good too. If I am ever in Worcester again, I will visit this place again. read more

There are a lot of Chinese restaurants in Worcester, most of which deliver. That is my ONLY knock on this restaurant. The place is in a no frills shopping center and can be easy to miss, however if you look at the kitchen inside, they work very hard to keep it clean. Whenever my order is placed, they have it ready in no more than 15 minutes. They are EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE and always go the extra mile for me. I am relatively new to the area, but I know that Worcester has so many unbelievable places to eat. However for those nights you want to stay in and enjoy a good meal without having to cook or sit down, you must give them a shot! Everything I have tried from here has been fantastic.. although I am partial to the Sesame Chicken. If you give this place a chance, I promise you will not regret it!!!! read more

I placed my order for Best Chinese Restaurant over the phone for pick up. When I arrived to pick up my order, I noticed a sign that stated there was a $8 minimum for credit cards. My total was $6.75 and had been planning on paying for my order with my credit card. I anticipated a problem, however, the cashier accepted the credit card. Yet, the cashier told me that he had to charge me an extra $0.50 because I was paying with my credit card. Typical dirty hole in the wall... not really a problem, because that's what I was expecting. I called ahead and ordered a large Roast Pork Chop Suey ($6.25) and a large Beef Fried Rice ($6.50). MA sales tax is 6.25% ($0.80). When I showed up 20 minutes later, they said it would just be a few more minutes. I told them that was fine, and asked to pay while I waited. They tried to charge me $7.75 for the chop suey. I refused, because the price on their laminated counter menu, and the take-out menus all clearly say $6.25. They argued that the price is wrong on the menu, and after the chef/manager yelled back and forth with the cashier for a few minutes, they both adamantly refused. So I started to walk out. They called me back and agreed to accept what I was willing to pay, but then they told me that my wait would be an additional 10-15 minutes.
