Ordered flowers and gave specific instructions as to where they needed to be delivered unfortunately the driver delivered to wrong address. Called shop to check on delivery status and they immediately recognized the error and had flowers delivered without further delay or incident. The flowers were fresh and reasonably priced and the recipient was very happy. Despite the delay I recommend this shop based on their honesty and customer service. read more

Just look at the style, sensibility and simplicity. The new (young) owner was spotlighted in the local paper, so we had to check it out. Sadly, the tiny shop was bustling so I just bought some tulips to support them, and couldn't talk too much. Also failed to take photos but I guarantee we'll be back. This young man created an oasis - there are carefully-curated props scattered around the gorgeous floral displays. Candles, pottery and a cute cocktail-sized (compact) chandelier made us feel as if we were in an opulently-designed store window in Manhattan (think Irene Hayes, Wadley et al). A dozen vibrant, pristinely fresh tulips for our spring table were only $9. What's not to love?! Go here. read more

Nick taking over has given this business the opportunity to redeem itself and it has. He is a decent person who truly wants to keep the name of the shop good in the community. My mom ordered an arrangement , she's on a fixed income, he worked with her and sent a lovely arrangement to her friend and he really 'delivered'! it was beautiful and he truly did what he said he would do. BOMB AF! I absolutely love love this establishment and especially how Nick is! They do such incredible work. Very honest and goes over the top with their creations. My wedding was 7/7/19 and I literally came to him two weeks before the wedding. Mind you I have never been here before. I was welcomed and spoke to professionally and friendly. Showed a bunch of pictures and described my vision for the wedding. I was very surprised he offered to do a sample of the centerpiece for me to make sure everything was ok. This was especially, I had a difficult crystal stand I wanted the flowers to be on also. I've never even heard of any florists that did this in the area. When we met again to see the sample, I was very pleased! I knew I had made the right choice in choosing him for my one in a life time event. Nick and his team did a fantastic job! Everyone. I mean literally everyone had complimented on the flowers. And the people that were there to witness Nick and his team put it all together at the actual wedding were impressed how detailed oriented he was. He even got extra rose petals for me and decorated the ceremony as well along with the sign in table and welcome signs! I have been telling people about this place and will continue to do so. Would totally choose them again for other events/ holidays or simply just want a nice bouquet at home. read more

The process of narrowing down my floral arrangements was seamless and he was helpful every step of the way. Nick was so easy to work with and he truly listened to my vision and made it come to life! I received tons of compliments on the flowers the night of my wedding, they were absolutely gorgeous. Nick even surprised me with a few arrangements I didn't ask for. If I could leave less than one star I would! I called this shop a week before I wanted flowers delivered to my friend, who is a nun, for her birthday. The girl took my order over the phone and was very pleasant. But the following week I got 2 charges on my credit card for slightly different amounts close to $150 each. I called the shop to inquire. I only got an answering machine message with music playing and the name of a different flower shop on the recoding. I left two messages on separate days. NO response. I called the day after the scheduled delivery to confirm the flowers arrived at the convent. The same girl said yes, they were delivered. But when I checked with my friend NO delivery was made on the specified day, nor the following day, when the clerk confirmed to me during our phone conversation that the delivery went out and she would also refund one charge. She apologized for no return call from my phone messages. Now I'm out $300 and no flowers for my friend!! NEVER will I trust this florist again. I'll have to call my credit card company to start a dispute for this situation. Very upsetting! read more

I just came from a funeral and although it was very sad I was so happy to see that the arrangement from New Britain floral shop was the absolute best!! in fact they placed it right next to the casket. As usual the arrangements are generous and tastefully done with such an eye for proportion and selection of flowers. I am truly surprised at the other reviews however when you look on the reviews on his website they are what they should be in that is five star from hundreds of people. I placed an order online on January 25th after a friend of mine who lives in Connecticut lost a family member. I figured it was a good idea to support a local flower shop in lieu of an otherwise more convenient route. Given the event, I called the shop to ensure the delivery would be happening same day. This was confirmed by the woman who answered the phone. Later that evening, I called my friend and the flowers were not received. I called the shop several times today in an attempt to understand the delay, those calls were not returned. I had to reach out to a third party to contact the owner personally, who advised I'd be getting a call back regarding the missing flowers. That call did not come. I emailed them directly to no avail. Without notice or any communication, my friend came home to the flowers on her porch today. The flowers were all broken (see below). If I could leave zero stars for this business i would. My experience with them was unsatisfactory on every level. On September 18, 2021 I received a message from my friend asking if I received a flower delivery for my birthday. He had ordered a flower delivery a day before and I never received it. I sent a message on instagram inquiring about it and never heard back. I made at least 12 calls to the business between Monday and Wednesday during business hours. No answer until Wednesday. The phone was finally answered and I was told "the delivery went out but I believe you when you say you did not receive it". I was informed that my delivery will occur on Thursday 9/23/21 before 5pm and that i will receive a phone call before then to make sure I am home. No phone call and no delivery. Not only this business charged for the service, failed to deliver on a date that was requested, promised my delivery 5 days after the order was placed to end up not delivering after all. This business is not trustworthy, unreliable and unprofessional. I will definitely not be utilizing this business in the future and I do not recommend it. read more
