The lady with me went straight for the local Tuesday special, steak fingers. I did not get one myself, and I regret that. They came out looking fresh, homemade, and exactly how steak fingers should look. Golden, honest, and made by someone who knows what they are doing. Now, the quesadilla. Crispy, packed, and clearly made with intent. This was not some lazy throw-together. This thing had heart. It had purpose. It had soul. Every bite delivered exactly what you want when you order a quesadilla in a place like this. And the sweet tea. Mate, the sweet tea. Cold, strong, and perfect.
