Lawrence rocked! I was on the hunt for a new car and struggling to find exactly what I wanted. After spinning my wheels with a few other brokers/dealer representatives, I stumbled across Lawrence while doing an inventory search for a specific vehicle I was considering. Lawrence gave me the lowest quote I'd received on that vehicle with all my requirements. I had a laundry list of safety features I wanted that were not standard on the base models I was looking at. Ultimately, he recommended another vehicle because he could secure it at a lower price. Little did he know, it was the car I really wanted at the start of this process! I'd abandoned this choice because every other broker told me there was no way to get it at the price point I wanted! I was cautiously optimistic when Lawrence said he could make it happen. A few hours later, he called me back with the vehicle I wanted, with all my safety features and in my top color choice at the price I wanted- every other broker told me this was not possible. This experience was enlightening. I learned different brokers have different relationships with car manufacturers. This firm knows the auto market inside and out, and on my 1st vehicle I was able to get a very sweet lease deal from a mark that was getting very aggressive in the market. In short, there are times where certain marks want to position their offers favorably vs competition, and New Car Superstore has the pulse on these offers. They are not bound to any one direction except working on your behalf. The 2nd vehicle was a very specific track star, and through their dealership relationships they were able to line it up without any complications. Unlike in house dealership sales teams, by working with many dealerships they can more quickly find a possible match. Currently, the auto market is upside down.... many customers are waiting in line with deposits in to get a vehicle with no market adjustment, but unfortunately so many dealership sales staff have next to zero allocation to work with so the timing is a major unknown. The lines are getting longer and longer, and there is no telling when a customer might move up in line due to vehicles coming in or someone else taking a pass on a vehicle. After months of being in line and actually passing on a couple vehicles that had options packages that were not quite a good buy, I contacted New Car Superstore and spoke with Noah about all this. Within the 2nd day, he had a great option for me. Also, since New Car Superstore now has a pre-owned dealership arm, he was able to structure a deal that was more favorable to me with my current vehicle trade-in. Although it was not my top choice of color, I actually like this change up a lot more, and it is a sick ride for sure. I went up to New Car Superstore to purchase a 2019 Hyundai Ionic that I saw on the website TrueCar. I made arrangements with JC to test drive the car on a Sunday.  We arrived and took the car for a spin, checked it out and saw NOTHING wrong with the car. Low mileage, clean, etc. It said it was in a minor accident, but there was no damage, no report etc. We inspected the car fully and bought it right there.  We agreed that my Kia Spectra would be purchased by JC and New Car Superstore, which was great for us. JC delivered the car to me a few days later after I secured the loan from my bank. We couldn't take it that Sunday because my bank was closed. He was supposed to come with a bow, as in our contract, and he did not. He had driven the car from Ventura area to my place of work in North Hollywood. After signing off on things when we exchanged cars, he had me sign the DMV paperwork. I asked him if all of this would release me from my Kia and liability. He assured (because it's in our contract) that he would hand in the paperwork. Guess what, DMV is STILL contacting me about transfer of liability. The car is not in the dealers name and I had this transaction happen in July. They also said that any car on their lot is covered by their insurance but haven't transferred liability with the DMV.  I expect fines to come to me. On my way home after exchange I was so happy, until I realized he had the visor down on the drivers side to expose a crack in my windshield.  I did NOT have a crack when I bought the car.  This was a smaller crack but still, where and WHEN did this happen.  I immediately called the office to speak with JC, he wasn't around, then I had to wait a few days, and finally when I got in touch with him, he said he didn't know about that at all. They said it could be covered by my insurance, it was not. I asked what happened and no one could tell me anything. SILENCE. Finally after emails and phone calls, they sent a Safelite tech out to "patch" the crack, which is NOT what I wanted.  The entire windshield should have been replaced.  After a few weeks of the crack being filled, I noticed that the windshield actually has a few more micro-pits, this is why I wanted the entire thing to be replaced. I sent emails and have called and no one will answer me. Later Chris mentioned to me that JC was an intern??? So an intern sold me a 18k car and he's not responsible for anything? Give me a break. They knowingly brought me my new car with a crack in the windshield that likely came from their yard or something shady happened and no one wants to say anything about it. The previous owner had left his covid card in the glove box along with multiple perscriptions from doctors for drugs that you shouldn't drive on. Sketch.
