I had the worst car buying experience of my entire life at this dealership! They priced my NX300h at $29k then I get there and they tell me the price was wrong and the lowest they could do was $32k. Smh. Dealer offered me $20 in gas money to go away. I saved up for years and was able to buy cash and they still tried pushing a credit inquiry. I'm glad I stood my ground, got the car I had searched for months for but I will never buy from this dealership ever again. The worst! Avoid OxnardLexus--this dealership is a fraud. My wife and I went in to purchase a pre owned vehicle that was listed as a Lexus Certified 2025ES300h with only 5,248 miles on the odometer. Carfax claim denied: After we agreed on a price, we asked the salesperson to confirm that the Carfax report was clean. He pulled the report up on his monitor and told us there were no accidents and no damage. Hidden damage and mileage rollback: While I was signing, my wife spotted a copy of the Carfax report on the desk. It flagged "Damage Reported" and "Mileage Inconsistency." This critical information was never mentioned during the walk through or sales pitch. The manager, Mo, took my driver's license to run my credit report. We were left waiting for about three hours before being called to the finance office to sign the paperwork. Service records prove rollback: The full report shows the car was serviced twice in September2025 at 19,387 miles and 19,394 miles. In January2026 the "pre delivery" inspection listed the mileage as 5,248 miles--a clear mileage rollback. When we confronted the manager, Mo, he offered no apology or explanation and said there is nothing he can do about it. The deceptive practices, blatant mileage tampering, and the manager's indifference make this dealer untrustworthy. Stay far away. I will file a complaint with the California DMV Investigations Unit, the FTC, and the NHTSA, and will consider contacting a consumer protection attorney. read more

I purchased a 2013 Lexus ES 300h from Greg in 2016. When the contract first came it had "extra" items that were not discussed which made me weary of moving forward. He "threw" in a free major service and removed the extra items. I decided to move forward after manually adding the free major service in the contract. When it was time to have the service completed I called, left many messages and emailed them to schedule the appointment. No one has ever returned either calls nor emails. The dealer is about 90 miles (over 2 hours) away, so I have not had the extra time to drive out there. I feel that I was taked advantage of. Another point, after purchasing the car I removed the sticker on the windshield to find that the windshield had a crack/pit under the sticker. That was not brought up. WOW. I purchased a used car from the dealership in late November 2024. The vehicle had roughly 97,000 miles. About a week after I bought the car, I decided to check the oil and found it was low, so I had to add two quarts to top it off. In late April 2025, I took the vehicle in for an oil change. The invoice showed that they visually inspected the brakes, tires, spark plugs, and more, with a recommendation to change the spark plugs and rear tires. However, there was no mention of the brakes. On May 31, 2025, while driving back home from Las Vegas, I stopped in Baker and heard grinding noises coming from the rear brakes. I managed to reach Barstow, where I had the brakes serviced with new rear rotors and pads. At this point, I had driven the vehicle roughly 3,000 miles since the oil change and brake service. That same day, I spoke to the service manager about the brakes. He checked their system and confirmed that there was 6 mm of padding on the rear brakes at the time of the oil change. The service manager insisted I should have brought in the old pads to measure them. I pointed out that if it was metal on metal, it would measure 0 mm, so there wouldn't be anything to measure. I questioned how the brakes could go from having 6 mm of padding to metal on metal in just five weeks. Unless they were saying they didn't believe me, I didn't understand what they were trying to prove. The auto shop that repaired the brakes documented "0 mm" on their invoice and reported it to CarFax. Within the next month, I plan to purchase a new vehicle. My wife suggested a Lexus SUV. If I decide to buy a Lexus, it won't be from Lexus of Oxnard; I'll take my business to Lexus of Thousand Oaks instead. read more

He will tell you a sob story of how the poor dealership will not make much money on such a low priced vehicle in order to convince you to help him by buying accessories, don't fall for it. I value her so much that when she moved to a different Lexus dealership--over an hour's drive away--I followed her just to purchase my car from her. What makes her exceptional is her attention and readiness with answers. Recently, one of my tires was low on air due to a nail. I took my car to the nearest dealership, Lexus Glendale, where they told me I didn't have a warranty and that it would cost $468 to replace the tire. I reached out to Jessica for advice, and she promptly confirmed that I do have a tire warranty valid at any Lexus dealership, even providing a copy of it. However, Glendale refused to honor it and insisted I go to Oxnard to use the warranty. Caught between two dealerships, I wasn't sure what to do. Jessica stepped in and offered to speak directly with Glendale, and thanks to her, I was able to use the warranty there. Even though I purchased my car 1.5 years ago, Jessica continues to take care of me and is always there when I need her. Andrea, the finance specialist, has also been incredibly helpful, both during the purchase and in this repair situation. She ensures I fully understand everything I'm signing and patiently explains everything until I have no more questions. Celeste was my service advisor and she was able to get me in and out in around an hour. The amenities in Oxnard don't compare to Thousand Oaks and Woodland Hills but this is the first time I got an oil change from a Lexus dealership where they topped off my oil correctly. Many times they over fill by 1/4 of a quart. Staff was friendly and they are knowledgable enough to perform an oil change correctly. I can't ask any more from a dealership. read more

I signed a proposal in terms of the cost of the services that totaled about 1300 dollars. I then receive a phone call from the service advisor saying she quoted me the wrong price and that she forgot to add one of the service costs onto the proposal she had provided me and the price I agreed to was actually going to total over 700 dollars more When I told her that I would just wait on that service then and have i taken care of next time I brought the vehicle in. She then told me that it was too late and that the service technician already completed all the work on my vehicle and that she couldnt release the car to me until all services were paid for, leaving me with no other choice. I asked to speak with the manager and was told I would have to wait two days as it was the end of the week and they were gone for the day. I eventually ended up being refunded for a portion of the total that I was forced to pay only after making a big point of this. 2) The service technician sold me a luxury care service package. It was prepaid for a total of four services that included oil changes tire rotations and balancing and alignments. It sounded appealing as after doing the math I would save a few hundred dollars by prepaying for the package of services and then use them at a later date when they were necessary to have completed. The first questions out of my mouth were do they expire, and can you use them anywhere at any Lexus dealership. Her answer to me was no they dont exppire and YES YOU CAN USE THEM AT ANY LEXUS DEALERSHIP. I was initially concerned and had doubts about making the purchase of the prepaid service package as I travel often for work and therefore service my car at other Lexus dealerships. Come to find out the next time I take it in for service at a differnet dealership, I am told that Lexus doesnt provide such a package and that I was mislead and purchased a service package totaled over a thousand dollars on the ground it didnt expire and I could use it at any dealership. We bought a used Toyota from this dealership about two weeks ago. My husband traveled two hours there to pick it up. We had ran all the numbers and everything ahead of time to make it an easy, quick process. He gets there and none of the paperwork is ready. Once it's ready he starts filling it out and gets to the warranty. The guy doing the paperwork with him says that he will make sure our payment isn't due until November if we get the warranty. Guess what? Our payment is due in two weeks. He lied. When my husband called he said "well you can call and ask them to skip the payment". Uh.... No. We will not be doing that. Two days ago we were at the gas station and suddenly the car won't start. We get it home after jumping it and have to have it towed to a Toyota dealer in town. We find out that the battery is bad and have to pay $250 for a new one. I'm just frustrated with all of this. We didn't have the money to buy a new battery but really had no choice.
