    Kung Pao Chicken Yum
    Adam O.

If you've been to the old China King you know the tables and floors were always sticky and the buffet was terrible. The new owners have turned this place around. They don't serve a buffet as of right now, but the place is spotless and that means a lot to any patron. The meals have some really great flavor. I enjoy Kung Pao Chicken and its the best I've had anywhere. Many places the sauce is just bland for my taste, this has just a bit of heat and abundant flavor. It's the standard Chinese foods but there is a freshness you never got before. Its only been open about a month so I hope they keep up the good work.

Shared the crab cake and red wine mussels. Both are excellent. I went for a seasonal sea bass which was grilled to golden brown, seasoned perfectly. Stuffed shrimps got a very nice comments. Strawberry salmon looked very interesting. Our waitress was really attentive and made sure we were all taken care of. Off the hook is on my list for the next visit

Everyone was satisfied about the meal. It was quite pricey, which was expected when we walked in because of the ambiance. So why only 3 stars? I live in Las Vegas and my guy lives in this area (long distance). Well, we were with friends that my guy hadn't spent time with in a while, and this was my first time meeting them. Nice double date! 3 out of 4 of us got multiple drinks and we were enjoying our dinner. We got dessert too. The manager checked on us once. We probably stayed about 20ish minutes after desert while talking and finishing drinks. We got up and used the restroom, and saw the mgr in there. We heard her say that our table "finally decided to leave." Very unprofessional when you are sharing the same restroom as customers to then be talking about them. I'd say the same thing had she not been talking about us but another table. I have 20+ years in the hospitality industry and that rubbed me the wrong way. Food wasn't good enough to come back, so this is a place that relies on ambience and service, which we'd come back for if the service were great...be hospitable. The server was knowledgeable and kind; it's too bad the manager couldn't keep her thoughts about well paying, well tipping customers to an area where customers couldn't overhear.

It's next door to the hotel and when we went it wasn't so busy that we were ignored but they staff were certainly being kept on their toes (Father's Day weekend, graduations, hotel guests...). They have both indoor seating (complete with a bar if you'd like to sit there) and a really nice looking patio area. The food was fantastic. Our server was great too; she was really friendly and helpful with recommendations. I ordered the reuben sandwich, which was deeeelicious. The salmon was apparently wonderful too, from what my partner said. And I ordered the macaroni and cheese from the kids menu but it was huge. My baby loved it and since it was so huge there was too much for her, so I had the rest at a later time. They had a really good strawberry lemonade, of which we (my daughter and I, because of course she had to have some) drank several glasses. Our server even brought me a to-go cup of it because she said it looked like we were slowing down and may be near finishing. I didn't ask her to bring me a cup of it to go, and wouldn't have thought to ask, so I was very happy she brought it for the rest of our ride to Cleveland. But perhaps my favorite part of the meal were the appetizers. We ordered some macaroni and jalapeño bites which were a hit as far as myself and the little one were concerned, with not too much heat that she could enjoy them. The restaurant has a Brussels sprouts appetizer, but they do it as an "of the week" special. The week we were here it was inspired by elote, so it had some corn and cheese and stuff on it and they were so good. I love Brussels sprouts, and will happily try them prepared in a new way. As of June 2026, I think they are short staffed. Our food took a little longer than usual but that was ok; it gave us a chance to chat and relax. Just be patient if you visit in the near future since they are down an employee or two! But even with that, it was a pleasant evening, the staff were fantastic and helpful, and the food totally hit the spot.

Reuben is a big sandwich. Half would have been enough. Come w/fries or substitute any other side.

Walking in with very high expectations, I can honestly say it exceeded everything we imagined. They offered a special Mother's Day brunch menu, featuring drinks, sides, bites, and main dishes. I ordered the Chicken+Waffles, which was absolutely delicious. A special shout out goes to the Whistle Pig maple syrup which elevated the dish and added a unique flavor! Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. This included the Breakfast Burger, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and Mr. Breakfast. The only item that fell a little short for me was the bacon. The flavor and thickness was very good, but it was too limp for each of our tastes. As for the drinks, I never pass up the opportunity to order an espresso martini. This version was excellent, smooth, well-balanced, and exactly what I was hoping for! Beyond the food, the experience, quick service, beautifully designed and classy furniture/decor, and friendly waitress is what elevated our experience above most restaurants. I look forward to trying Mr. Mister for dinner!

Their lent menu is a little more trimmed down than their regular food truck menu I have seen before. I got the fish sandwich, hush puppies, and a large side of lobster mac and cheese. It was a little pricey, $31. The lobster mac and cheese was as much as the sandwich for a container the size of a to-go soup bowl which seemed like a little much. There weren't that many lobster pieces for the price, like 3 or 4 decent-sized chunks, and the mac and cheese itself was pretty bland. The fish sandwich was the best part but I still wasn't wow-ed; I was also charged $1 for one slice of american cheese. I'm fine with paying extra for things, that just seemed excessive. The hush puppies and fries were clearly just frozen, and the fries were cold. For the price, I wouldn't come back here during lent but may visit the food truck at a different time to see the bigger menu.

The slaw was good too, but overall I'm just not that big of a fan of slaw. The fish and chips came with 4 decently sized pieces of haddock and a bunch of fries. I'm interested in trying their lobster rolls after lent is over!
