The catholic church in Mexico had a few requests for me. One was a statement from a local catholic Church getting their blessing, and that they were able to verify I've never been married. This is not a rehab, it's a penal colony. At least it was when I was there. It was overcrowded and…read moremany of us were sleeping on mattresses on the floor in the mess hall. Leadership was cold and uncaring about the physical well being of the people they were supposedly responsible for "rehabilitating." I became ill while at U-turn, and had to convince them that I needed medical attention. Instead of taking me to the hospital, they dropped me off at a bus stop somewhere in Riverside. I had a terrible pain in my abdomen, couldn't eat, and had a 102 fever, and it was 96 degrees outside. I waited hours for the bus and eventually ended up calling a cab. Once I was finally examined at the ER, they ran a CT scan and found a football sized abscess under my intestines where my appendix had burst a week before. It was a miracle that I was still alive. I was in the hospital on and off for the next few months until I could have what was left of my appendix removed. These people claim to be Christians, but treat hurting people like trash because of their views on the "power of faith", as if faith is some kind of currency that God deals in. This is a dangerous, disgraceful, and dishonest program that should be investigated and permanently closed. They are not trained or equipped to deal with mental or physical health problems, and are barely biblically competent if at all. The people running it should stop claiming the name of Christ and bringing dishonor to Him by taking his name in vain.

Teachers do not need a teaching degree to teach, for a school that should be valuing education, that seems a little backwards. They will use incorrect verbiage IN writing and then the pastor will try to change the narrative even though he's NEVER participated in the meetings for my child. They protect themselves, not your students. You will not be valued.
