We recently moved from San Diego to Marietta and are looking for our home church. We want some thing a little bit more modern that talks about the teachings of Christ. Nothing political based. When we walked into this place you could tell it was a very large church. It felt very voltage in the aspect of them immediately telling you what you can and cannot do where you can and cannot go if your kids can and cannot sit with you. It's just very weird from the beginning. As my intuition was going off like this is weird I don't like this. But because we're looking for a good church we went ahead and went forward with the sermon and so forth They wouldn't let my son sit with us that he had to go and be with the children. My son is well behaved and he would've done fine inside the church. For me and my family we like to stick together when we go to church. I don't like my son being separated from me. I also didn't like that everything was so secretive for example when we dropped him off at the kids place, they wouldn't let us like look in the door or go in with him so that he can get situated. Mind you this is the first time he's ever met any of these people any of these teachers it was just very bizarre. Very weird experience. The actual teachings that they did or the actual sermon that they did was OK it felt more of like a preacher just babbling up there with no actual point and deciphering his view and interpretation of what is stated in the Bible verse what is actually being taught and again it was just kind of like this blabbering for an hour. I personally would not recommend this church. I lid you are looking for something more family centered, community oriented, smaller church. we're very much used to smaller churches that feel more home we will not be going back. read more

Began going here 8 years ago. We love the teaching and being involved in a ministry. We have met some amazing friends. We love a church where God's word is taught and we get fed so well spiritually here. Unless God moves us one day, we plan to be here in far future. read more

Mommy, I'm hooome! I'm up in my years (33+++) to know when something is right. RCF has what the French call, Je ne sais quoi. As the guest band from Tennessee (more on them later) started to perform, guests were being led to the overflow seating area. The energy in the room was overwhelming; people were singing along and praising the lord, dancing and just cutting loose ... Awesome! Yes, this happens at most congregations but I really felt something flowing and touching people today. WOW!! As in Goosebumps! Also, as the pastor was delivering his message, I was actually following along. Intently absorbing, comprehending the word. Huh ... I was not thinking about golf, football or where and what I was going to have for lunch. (like I normally do) This pastor is GOOD! The guest band today is from Tennessee and they're called, "The Katinas." Their style/music was very familiar to me. Remember the group, "Heatwave?" 70's-80's-90's?? Look them up but anyway, that style was right up my alley. I even purchased their new cd, "19." Fighting anxiety with crowded rooms? I'm with you, come early and get seats in the back row where you won't feel suffocated. See ya! :) read more

My honest opinion: Was not disappointed at all! What an amazing sermon it was today. The pastor reads from the Bible (KJV) so prepare to bring your Bible with you. He actually preaches about Jesus Christ as your savior, unlike many other churches that we have been to that felt so off and didn't preach about Jesus Christ as your savior at all. Yes, it's quite a big church -- however you are there for GOD and only GOD. When you are singing - you are only singing to GOD & for GOD. They have different times, but we attend the 11:30 am one. They also have classrooms for kids from all ages! I recommend coming at least 15minutes early for check-in since they do fill up fast and are limited due to COVID. I would 100% recommend this church, it's not your typical "concert/feel good" type of church, I can promise you that. The pastor preaches directly from the KJVBible and is VERY straight forward. NO SUGAR COATING. But you will have to go yourself in order to find out. read more

This church has an excellent homeschool program that I've been attending for 3 years now. My husband recently came to faith and we started attending services about a month ago. You feel genuinely welcomed. The worship team radiates a passion for Christ. Pastor John Miller is an excellent pastor that teaches the Bible, verse by verse, KJV version. Even my husband, who is a new believer, enjoys and understands Pastor Millers sermons. We have teens that attend the Jr. High and High School services. They really like the youth pastors and they offer youth camps and events where my kids have made wonderful friends. I don't believe we "picked" this church but I DO believe God led us here. read more

I have been coming here for close to 2 years. Pastor John Miller preaches out of the KJV but there's NKJV in the pews. My favorite teaching is expository I love to learn how the Bible words came together and their history the whole break down. Although a big church I still feel connected but like anywhere else you have to make the effort. The people here love the Lord praise him and are thankful for their church and pastor. Let me preface this by saying I grew up Catholic but no longer practice any sort of religion. This review is based solely on the fact that I attended a funeral here. Everything was done so well, with such organization, I honestly couldnt wait to yelp about it. Hundreds of people came out to mourn, rain pouring down all morning long....These people had their game tight. Ceremony was flawless....Things like this are never easy, but it sure helps when everything runs smoothly and family and friends dont have to stress about one more thing. God forbid you, or anyone you know, ever needs to plan a funeral....but if you do, and live in the area, this place is a great option. read more

I attended this church on today for the very first time. I moved here about 6 months ago from Riverside. I had a wonderful experience. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I felt very welcomed in every way. A young friend of mines attends this church and told me about so I just decided at the last minute to go as I did not want to drive to Riverside this morning. The Pastor was on vacation but the Pastor who preached today was excellent. I am so glad I came and will come back again. It's daunting at first, big church, lots of people, large facility. Entering you are greeted multiple times before you find your seat. Once the worship starts, it's like being at a concert or, better, surrounded by angels. The teaching by Pastor John is authoritative and accurate. Just an FYI--this church is a Calvary Chapel-ish place. Strong moving of the Holy Spirit and there will be hand raising and standing. Great to be in a church with accountability!! read more

We moved here from San Diego about 4 years ago. Like San Diego, there are several good non-denominational churches in this area. My family feels at home at Revival and I highly recommend trying it. Pastor Miller is a solid expository teacher with a Calvary Chapel background. He teaches God's word, has a great sense of humor, and he doesn't cater to the world or give in to political correctness. He speaks the truth in love. I've always felt welcome at Revival. We usually attend the 9:45 or 11:30 Sunday service and there's quite a bit of diversity (race, age, backgrounds). People seem to come as they are, from casual attire to suits and dresses, whatever the individual is comfortable wearing. There are lots of different ministries you can plug into based on your season of life and interests, in order to grow and fellowship with others. This is a large congregation so involvement outside the weekly church services is a good way to get to know people. From my experience, the childrens and youth ministries are great! The Holy Spirit is present and moving at Revival! One way you can see the power is by the number of people who respond to God's gift of salvation when Pastor Miller extends the invitation (which doesn't happen every service). If you're trying to find a home church, try several and trust God will impress upon your heart where He wants you to grow and be involved. There's a place for you in one of them :)! read more

I'm fairly new to this church. I've been going for three years. It's the first church in my life that I've put any real effort into getting involved. I have been to a men's retreat, I go to the men's bible studies on Tuesday nights, and I have been going to Craftsmen for Christ whenever I can. It took me a little while to get into the groups, but with patience I've met some really solid people. I'm really grateful for the change this church has made in my worship style and how that has affected my perspective. I now wake up every day and once coffee is going I read a chapter and pray to begin my day centered in scripture. What a difference it makes! I don't know what happened with the few people on here that didn't feel welcome but I suspect maybe they didn't give things a chance? It takes time, but with prayer and supplication you can know peace. Revival Menifee helps me to worship and is full of good Christians! Real bible reading types, not the type who just say anything to appear contemporary and modern. The goal at revival is to stay centered in scripture. I really appreciate that. read more

Great church with an even more amazing Pastor who teaches the word! The worship is great too! There is this cute husband and wife who do worship and watching them worship through their really tough time they shared about touched hearts all over. Although I haven't seen the wife in worship recently she was my favorite singer, I miss her unique voice. Thank you Jesus for such amazing servants who do what you call them to do! The husband and I went there for the 1st time today. The worship was great, but the message was ok. I noticed I was drifting off a lot and couldn't stay focused. Also noticed there was little diversity and a lot of elderly. Nothing wrong with that just looking for something we fit more in with. Going to give it one more shot. I have just moved here from out of state. I was invited to go to church with my family today.... I have recently been through the most tragic loss anyone could ever go through....loosing a child unexpected. Being at church this morning, hearing Pastor Miller talk about James.... being humble....I don't know how much more humble I can be in my life... I have faced a lot of things in my life growing up...challenge after challenge...making me humble....making me a stronger person everyone would tell me.... I'm at a loss now.....I came to California to start a new beginning, fresh start...putting everything that has happened the past 18 months in the past. This was my church from 2005-2016. The teaching here is spot on. Pastor John is able to deliver week after week sermons that are straight from scripture and clearly teaches us how to put God's Word to "shoe leather". My one and only regret from moving out of California is the teaching in this church. I am so grateful that each week I am still able to visit via the Internet on Sunday and Wednesday night. I have found many nice churches here in the Boise area but none that teach like this. So I go and attend so that I might find fellowship and serve but I do miss Revival so! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never felt more uncomfortable in a church let alone walked out of a service giving 25 min even for the senior pastor to try and bring his message around. I'm new to the area and wanted to find a home church that is near our house (not drive to San Diego every Sunday) ... After seeing yelp reviews thought I would check it out ... Walked in on Sunday and besides a hello here and there didn't feel welcomed by the strange looks (dressed in a dress and heels ... Hair washed that morning) ... I moved from Irvine to Murrieta in January of this year and it took me 6 months of searching for a home church before I found Revival Christian Fellowship. Honestly I was getting quite discouraged. My sister in law said that one of her neighbors went here and loved it. After reading some old Yelp reviews, I was a little skeptical but it looked like things had improved since Pastor Miller took the reins. I gave it a try and immediately felt at home. I had a spirit of peace here and the teaching was spot on. Pastor John Miller preaches the bible with authority, a dose of humor and humility. Worship is amazing.
