I had long layers. I came here as I read the reviews. My hair needed a trim... I moved and it was…read moreoverdue. When I got there, Jung was pleasant. Seem nice. Very chatty. She asked lots of personal questions, not about hair.. about income, everything about my partner, my family ... It felt too personal to share on a first virit. I said three things with my hair. 3 If she did not understand she should have asked me to explain more. 1 I asked for 2 inches off. I could not understand until I was home she took off three. 2 I asked for it to be even in the back with "no shelf". That mean no big horizontal lines into the back of my hair... I had my hand flat to the back of my head and said this... no shelf cut into the back. She sis not listen. I have waves in the back.. and when cuts are put into the back.. when it does not softly blend with the ends I am left with a mess. 3. I asked for it to be softly blended layers. I don't care if it was cut in a u or a straight line this is not softly blended. This is not soft blended ... Please see pictures. A picture is worth 1000 words. My hair was anything but what I asked for. If she did not know,.. she could have asked me for clarity or just done a modest trim. . I can't go back to her to fix this. I do not trust her. If they got three things wrong how can I trust more????? I am left with a bell shape/ a triangle jagged haircut. it is way wider on the bottom. Jagged cuts does not work with my fine... but dense slightly wavy hair. Also she was very pushy and kept taking pictures of me. I asked her to stop 4 times. I don't care if it was just for her phone, my hair was wet and I did not want my picture taken! She still took 4 or 5 pictures! Even with me telling her stop.. She did not need a face picture to remember me! I sent her one before I came. That completely disrespectful! How sad. Do not take even one picture if your client says no. No means no. Not sure what was lost in translation.

I highly recommend this salon. I am a repeat client. One of the things that I love about Chelsa is her continued education. She always is attending hair classes and seminars. I love that I am getting the most up to date techniques.

In fact, she has loved every cut Jessica's given her from short pixies to helping her grow it back out again. Jessica outdid herself yesterday. My daughter left the salon looking and feeling absolutely gorgeous. I really can't recommend her enough.

She said that she could, so I booked an appointment. Instead of rose gold, my hair turned an ombre blonde to brown. She told me to come back in a couple days later to try again, and once more, no luck. She then told me to come back in a month as to not damage my hair, and that she wouldn't charge me, so I'd end up getting two colors for the price of one. I texted her again in a month to make the appointment, and this time my hair finally had a tint of pink to it (even though that faded in a few days). When I went to check out I was only expecting to pay the cost of a trim, yet she charged me $120. I asked if it was supposed to be that much and she said yes, that I was paying for highlights and additional color, even though she told me a month earlier that she wasn't going to charge me. All in all, I ended up paying $340 for a hairstyle that I wasn't happy with.

I've heard many people rave about Mrs. Donna and her business, so I decided to try her services. The only positive thing I can say is that she could fit me in at the last minute for a wash, condition, and blow dry after I took out my braids and combed them myself. As soon as I walked in and granted I was a new client, she began saying negative things about my hair and kept on with the degrading comments throughout my appointment about how my hair was "dry" and how I needed to go to a dermatologist about my scalp condition. This was very embarrassing to hear because, yes, I was already aware I am prone to dry scalp, and I've struggled with dermatitis of the scalp all my life, but there were other people in the salon, and her comments should not have been said out loud. She claims she is an expert in ethnic / 4C hair, but she is far from an expert and DID NOT know how to correctly section, detangle, and blow dry my hair. Whatever technique she was doing was painful, and I was very uncomfortable the entire time !!! (She used 4-5 different combs and kept loudly stating my hair was too dry to get it blown dry straight ) She will NEVER touch my hair again, and I do not recommend anyone who would be a new client to go to her because she is very mean and nasty to anyone who may be suffering from less than stellar hair condition!
