Personally i would not recommend coming here if u want layers. I'm not sure if the stylist i got just wasnt comfortable doing layers but they came out very choppy. It's definitely not the worst haircut ever it's just not great so i wouldn't go back to the same lady. The blow out she gave me was also not very good, it left my hair tangled and i had some pieces that were just sticking out weird after. Overall it's a nice salon and well priced ($48 for women's wash and cut) but i would not recommend if you want a layered haircut or a blow out.

Needed a highlight and a trim and decided to try Elite Salon because it was a short trip from campus. I'm so happy to have finally found my go-to salon! Tiffany was so attentive and genuinely cared about my "hair goal." Loved the results, no complaints at all. Glad my search for a quality hair place as a newbie in the NRV is over.

She got me in the next day and fixed it(the picture on the right)! It was so uneven and bad, but she did a great job with what she had to work with!! She is going to do my highlights tomorrow! I was new to the area and arrived a several minutes late to my first ever appt due to trouble navigating the area, only to be met with his stank attitude and him berating me. There was not a single person in the shop so I was not holding anyone up. Instead of handling the situation like a professional, he starts talking to me with attitude like I'm 12 years old. I'm a grown man (I did 10 years in the US Army). There is never an excuse to treat a potential paying customer with such disrespect. You don't talk down to people, no matter the situation especially as a business owner. I'm honestly shocked that a barber would engage in this kind of behavior. Many reviews of the shop were good. Absolutely avoid this establishment as there are so many other barbers you could go to. Why take a chance on someone who has an attitude?

She change the name to Old Town Barber and added women hairdressers to the shop. Since Covid, they accept appointments for men and women, although walkins usually receive fast service.
