Super friendly lady attending to the customers, I was rushing to work and I made her speed up, service with a smile. A big surprise was that they offer coffee cake, I love coffee cake, and theirs is so moist and delicious.

Every time I come visit my parents and I want to indulge this is my go to donut spot. There is plenty of parking available and the staff has always been friendly. I bought a dozen donuts on Monday afternoon and the lady helping me out gave me an additional one for free. There is a wide variety of donuts to choose from, however they run out quick. I usually get the chocolate cream filled one and there's usually 1 or two left when I stop by in the afternoons. I would suggest to go earlier if you want to be able to get more variety or have a couple of your favorite donuts available. This place also sells ice cream, boba, breakfast sandwiches and water so it's worth checking out not just their donuts but for their entire menu.

Eat their Donuts at your own risk! Look at that hair!!

I have came to this location multiple times mainly for the drinks. I have noticed their donuts have flies on them and not just one but multiple. Ive been hesitant about buying any donut from here since im not a fan of flies on my donuts. Today i stopped by to purchase a beverage and thought i would take a chance and get a jelly filled donut. I got home was so happy to eat my donut when i saw it had a really LONG HAIR under the Glaze! It was disgusting! There was no way it could've been my hair since the hair was cooked with/under the glaze! Please dont eat/trust their donuts!

Whenever we go refills our water, we always grab a cup of boba and sometimes their breakfast sandwich. It's really good.

Venue: beautiful, clean, and spacious with plenty of seating for families and friends to gather comfortably. It's conveniently located inside a shopping center with lots of parking available, which made our visit even easier. Ambiance: We absolutely loved the ambiance! The mariachi music playing in the background truly brought the whole experience together and perfectly represented the spirit and name of the location. Food: everything was fresh, delicious, and perfectly balanced in flavor without being overly sweet. We ordered the chocolate croissant, Abuelita's rosca, elote fino, and a fried pulled pork empanada with green sauce. Every item was flavorful and satisfying. The café de olla was warm, comforting, and just the right amount of sweet. Overall, my family and I had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed our visit. We will definitely be returning for more pan dulce, delicious food, and maybe even try one of the cold brews next time. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for great Mexican bread and pastries, this is definitely the place. However, on Mother's Day (May 10th), I decided to try their menudo for the first time and purchased 3 orders. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The menudo was extremely bland and seemed to be missing basic seasoning like salt and oregano. Normally, bland food can be fixed at home with a few spices, but the bigger issue was the large amount of grasa (grease/fat) in the caldo. The grease was very dense and excessive. I tried removing as much as possible, but there was still too much. In fact, I had to serve my mother the menudo without the broth because of how greasy it was. My recommendation: stick to the bread -- it's great. As for the menudo, maybe this was just a one-off experience, so others may want to give it a try for themselves. I personally hope they improve the recipe because it's difficult finding a good Sunday morning menudo spot in the Downey area.

I've ordered up to three dozen tamales at a time and never had an issue. The staff is polite, they greet you when you pay, and that's all I need no need to chat about their weekend or personal life. I'm there for the bread and tamales, and both are consistently fresh and delicious. This is definitely a regular stop for me! Rated by a TEAMSTER

It's like a fancy filet o fish without the soggy bun, packed with amazing fried fish and tarter sauce. I'm just disappointed when they don't have this in stock, but sometimes they would make more, and that'll just be an extra wait. Downside is that I first tried the fish panini years ago and it was a bit better then, but it's still good currently. Other pastries I've tried here have been pretty good. They had some various buns with mochi inside, and those were great. Another one of my fave is their mentaiko salt bun. Great flavor, though I wish they would stuff the thing with more mentaiko. Their curry breads are good too. I took my daughter here and she got one with cute emoji drawn on, and she said the custard filling and the bread was tasty as well. I've tried some drinks here and they were alright. A friend was into their banana matcha when they have that in stock. Pretty simple layout here. Get in line and see the goods, then you reach the cashier and order and pay.
