However, we found another store nearby and decided to check it out. They were having a sale and were offering discounts on last year's products. We spoke with a gentleman on the second floor who helped us find the right snowboard, bindings, and boots while staying within our budget. We were able to walk away with everything we needed at a reasonable price, and my daughter is very happy with her new gear!

I could see inside that it was being held together by glue, and was probably unsafe to use in the first place. My family was on vacation so we were forced to buy a used pair for my son so that his trip wasn't ruined. When I returned the skis the store refused to refund any of our money, gave me an attitude, and blamed it on my beginner-skier son. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

I was an internet "expert" on ski gear which means I knew almost nothing after being away from the sport for 20 years. We are advanced skiers and on our first day out skiing, we found out pretty quick that our skis were railed. We could barely control them and ended up running to a tuneup store near the resort to have them checked. They could immediately see the poor tuneup on our skis and were told that we were lucky we didn't get hurt as a result. Our skis were great after the second tune up. Guess we'll be going elsewhere.

This review is for the new Longmeadow locattion…read more A friendly local shop, solid service, and a welcome addition to our Shaker Road Shopping Plaza Colorado Bike & Ski on Shaker Road Stopped into Colorado Bike & Ski, right where Armata's Market used to be on Shaker Road, and the experience was excellent. This was my second visit, and both times the staff took good care of me. During their soft opening, they tuned up our bicycles and did quality work at a fair price. This week, I needed a few pedal bolts loosened to make bike transport easier. They had me stop in, fixed it quickly, and sent me on my way. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They showed me some impressive new bikes, including cool electric models and one with eye-catching balloon tires. This time of year, the focus is clearly skis. They had plenty of ski gear and cold-weather clothing on display, ready for winter. I missed the grand opening, but the service won me over anyway. Right now this is the only store in Connecticut, but one of the workers there told me that they're opening another one in Manchester, Connecticut. That's great! It's an awesome store. This store is right next to Bob's. One of the workers told me that the owner owns both stores. The Bob's side has the toilets. The workers are helpful. There's a good selection of outdoors stuff. You can become a member for free, and you get money back and coupons. There were already some Black Friday deals out. They had a sign that you can rent stuff too. Great store!
