The shutters and the garage door were brilliant white and the roof looked like new. It was a different house. The most amazing transformation was the cleaning of our oversized deck. I had forgotten how light the IPE was when it had been installed. I had overlooked that it was slowly getting dirtier and dirtier, and darker and darker. It was as if Nick put down an entirely new deck. What was even more stunning was how every spindle was no longer tinted green with algae, and every hand rail looked like new.
