In addition, I got an estimate for the installation of cement block edging in the back yard. We agreed on a price and they were out the following week to begin the work. It rained thru most of the first day and they finished on the second day. Everything looked good and we paid for the work. As the week went on and the dirt settled I recognized that they never aerated (no plugs in the yard). In addition, the soils they used was poor quality, full of small rocks and mulch. Not good for when I mow the lawn. It's been about a month and very little grass has grown from the overseeding. We've had good weather and I've kept the ground appropriately watered, too. I reached out via text and the messages went unanswered. I am probably going to have to aerate and overseed again myself as there are a number of bare spots in the lawn, now. The trees and concrete edging does look good. I wish I could say the same for the grass.

Early on Miguel was gracious, helpful, fair, and concientious of the quality of work, concerns, complaints, etc. More recently, his prices, quality of work (which he allows, even encourages) has declined. We recently paid $1225 for our front and back lawns to be mowed!! We live on 5 acres. However the "lawn is less than a mere fracuation of that, as most is in pasture." We hadn't been able to afford service for several months and the grass and weeds were pretty high. The fellows who came to do the work were very hard workers and did a good job mostlty. EXCEPT left behind were several groupings of clippings. The largest was approx. 100' long X 4' wide and 3' tall! Flower beds not touched!!!! We thought that they would come back on Saturday.....no show. My husband called Miguel and was told that "the truck was full" so he told the workers to "leave the rest." Now my husband may have some physical challenges, but his brain is SHARP! When he called Miguel, he denied the agreement to clean up all the clippings or weed the flower beds. The check was already cashed and we have no recourse except to share our experience with you all. When I spoke with Miguel myself he was rude, cocky, curt. He refuses to take responsibility for this resolve. Was so rude! Shoulds, coulda, woulda!!!! Never again! Upset? Yes! Vindictive? No! I just don't want anyone else to go through this same experience.
