Our son has come to love it and looks forward to going everyday. The environment is safe, clean, and welcoming, with a perfect balance of play and structured learning. We've seen so much growth in our son's social skills, confidence, and creativity. Furthermore, we appreciate the regular updates and photos as well as all the fun activities the school plans for the kids! What we love most is the genuine care the staff shows for each child--they treat them like family. We have had the pleasure of having him in Ms. Azo and Ms. Evelyn's class last year and now in Ms. Lina and Ms. Fabi's. It's comforting to know our child is in such capable and loving hands and we love seeing the growth in our son daily. We highly recommend Beginnings Learning Center to any parent looking for a positive and enriching early education experience!

I dreamed for a long time about having my kids here, and I was so lucky when two spots opened up at the same time so I could enroll them both right away. This place is truly special. One of my kids has already moved on to kindergarten, and her teachers there keep telling me how absolutely ready she is. That says everything about how amazing the foundation at this preschool is. The food is also worth mentioning--it's high quality, healthy, and really tasty. My kids always eat it with joy, which is such a relief for a parent. I didn't want to single out teachers because everyone here is wonderful, but I can't help but mention Miss Lina, Miss Cynthia, and Miss Lili. They are people with the biggest hearts, who know how to connect with every child. And truly, the whole staff is amazing--caring, attentive, and dedicated. Most importantly, my kids always run to school with excitement, they learn so much, and I can see how much they are growing and developing here. This preschool is an absolute treasure, and I couldn't recommend it more.

The school did not communicate this contamination with other families, something I thought was odd. My eldest son was also sent home various times with lots and I mean LOTS of mosquito bites, when I brought this up to a teacher, she said "oh we're all like that". My last strike however was when my 4 year old was sent home with a BIG piece of poop. When I questioned the teacher she said "it happens to all of us, we're busy with the other kids". When I spoke to another parent she mentioned the same thing happened to her son and they had to take him to the ER, she ended up removing him from that classroom. There was a lot more small incidents that I chose to ignore because I thought they were normal, this was our first daycare so I had no experience. I can tell you one thing.. it was NOT a GREAT BEGINNING. To prospective parents, I urge you to look up this facility in the Transparency website on the department of social services website. The number of visits= the number of times licensing has been contacted, remember not every parent contacts them. However this website renews every 5 years, many schools nearby don't even have any visits in the 5 years. Keep in mind that most of these visits end up with no finding because what teacher would yell at a student in front of licensing? Svetlana is never there, unless you're a prospective family who she will make money off she is not there. Martina, is an odd individual. When we went to tour the school she asked us a lot of personal questions. I shared with her some childhood trauma that had caused the delay in enrolling our kids into a school, well after I called licensing on them she attempted to retaliate saying she knew my "secrets" and wasn't afraid to use them...how professional right! BEWARE of Alma, she's the teacher sending kids home with poop. Oh and if you've got a 2 year old, you might want to prep on having to introduce yourself to a new teacher every couple months because wow they can't keep a teacher! In our two weeks there we watched teachers leave and new teachers come, and then leave. Talk about a stable environment for the babies.

After a difficult experience at another school that required us to transfer our son mid-year, finding Great Beginnings was a turning point for our family. From day one, we were welcomed with genuine kindness, warmth, and compassion. Our son's teacher, Miss Julia, is exceptional, and the entire staff (Miss Lana, Miss Martina, Miss Maria) have gone above and beyond to meet him where he's at and support his growth. Our son is happy, confident, and thriving, and we couldn't be more thankful to be part of such a nurturing school community!

We are fortunate beyond belief to have found this incredible school. It has been the most wonderful launching pad for my little one, setting her up for a healthy, curious, kind, and loving life. I have full confidence as she enters the "big school" (Kindergarten) next week that she will be ready socially AND intellectually thanks to the loving care and attention received from the teachers and leadership at New Generation. I found this school after trying many others in the area. New Generation is both play and academically focused, always clean, and has a GORGEOUS backyard play area (I always say it feels heavenly back there). I'll never ever forget how wonderful it felt to pick my daughter up in such a safe and loving environment every day and have her run across that playground to hug me. The school is not only kid-friendly, but parent friendly. They have always been kind and supportive in a way that parents of preschoolers need... they just get it. The front office empathizes and gives of their time and attention, always making me feel safe and seen. They also throw a great party!! The Fall Festival every year is seriously so much fun - we're still planning to go as a family even after we've left! There are always holiday activities, celebrations, shows, adorable Graduations... everything is just so perfect. Most importantly, the teachers are INCREDIBLE. We had Ms. Claudia, Ms. Laura, and Ms. Favi throughout the years, three of the most lovely women, always with a focus on learning, growth, development, and kindness. The kiddos spend so much time at preschool, it has been very comforting to know it is such a wonderful environment, complete with care and attention from very involved teachers. Ms. Favi, our current teacher, truly looks at her students as if they were her own, and treats them as such. My daughter loves her so, and dreams of being a teacher one day because of how wonderfully Ms. Favi does it. It will be so hard to say goodbye to her, and there will be no shortage of tears (mom included). I highly recommend this school for your sweet little ones. It feels like family, and I will forever be grateful to have found this special home away from home during such formative years.

My family and friends are always shocked when they see my son eat his vegetables and request for broccoli! We owe his positive development to this amazing place. Every day we pick him up he's always so happy. Teacher Rena has seen him grow since he was a baby and treats him as if he were her own. Teacher Emma receives him with such warmth and kindness every morning. Irina is Karine's mom and she makes the most delicious food for the kids, you often smell the wonderful home cooked meals during drop offs. I can't recommend this place enough! As a first time mom, I'm so thankful for the help, support, guidance and recommendations Karine has given me every step of the way and throughout each milestone my son has accomplished. And as a working mom, there is no better relief than to trust my son is in a safe and loving environment for the entire day. We love LPDC and are so lucky we have them in our lives! In this case, United Children's Learning Academy (UCLA) is castle of education for our daughter and her classmates. The school balances art, math, music, science and physical fitness. Not going to lie that the school that our Child attended in Seattle was next to a water canal that is part of Lake Washington that links Lake Washington to Puget Sound. It was beautiful. While UCLA is not located next to a lake or park -- the school, the teachers, the administrators and the parents work together to create unique and beautiful experiences for our children in and outside of the classroom. Did I mention the strong diversity and inclusion of the students and their parents? I have spent time inside and outside the classroom with teachers, parents and our Child's classmates -- theatre, halloween, birthday, shopping, Dad's hanging out with the kids, etc. I truly believe that inside each classroom there is royalty. In these classrooms, there are tiny humans that will eventually grow up one day to lead different people, ventures, organizations, countries, etc. UCLA provides our Child the structure, social time, interaction time, empathic limits, downtime and education that preschoolers need to one become successful King and Queens.

Not related, but I really think that it would make the look and feel of the school the little better, is that they need to update their furniture and paint some of the areas inside the school. It's looks a bit it worn out and needs some care. However, don't let the look of the school to dissuade you from sending your child there. Amazing program and caring teachers!

My daughter was advanced for Music Box's 2 year old class and was about to switch to their 3 year old class. When I was hunting for other schools even the YMCA said Music Box is one of the higher schools for academics. I really feel like Smart Start is like the best kept secret. I was shocked to find out they didn't have a weight list. The pricing was very competitive and might be cheaper if I remember correctly and even includes breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks. All 99% organic! When my daughter started, it was mid school year and she was one of the few potty trained but was actually behind academically. The teacher paid special attention to her during the paper work hand outs, kept me updated constantly and even sent home work sheets on what she needed practice on. She was caught up within 2 weeks and it was amazing how much her personality changed for the better! She was instantly a better listener and could follow multiple directions given at once. They snapped her terrible 2's away! I know to some parents academics aren't important or a priority especially at such a young age but every kid is different and has different needs. My daughter is very busy and active and their structure and program at Smart Start seems to make my daughter flourish. She has been reading words and writing for about a year now and continues to amaze me!
