I would definitely give this daycare/learning center more than 5 stars. The teachers are great the school director is amazing. My son loves his teachers and the patients for him. My son was there full time and they were constantly working with him with making him comfortable since he is slightly an introvert. They helped with bed time training since he Coslept with me. Was able to not be codependent of his bottle and pacifier. Highly recommend to all parents who want their children to be loved and be part of a family. Kiddies Creative Learning Center is absolutely amazing. All the staff truly cared about our daughter and would provide us with any relevant updates at the end of each day. We would also get pictures throughout the day of our daughter and any fun activities they were doing. The staff was COVID conscious and always made sure we felt safe leaving our daughter with them. They were very flexible with days since our schedules were so inconsistent with COVID. Only reason we stopped going was because we moved across the country. read more

My 11 year old went here when he was 3. We lived blocks away. Fast forward, we live in Pico-Robertson area now. I was looking all over for a daycare, and gave them a call. They accepted my 1 year old right away. The same teachers are still there. They are the BEST. They adore the children and are loving towards them. My little one waves goodbye to his teachers. They always answer the phone and the owner's daughter, Diana, sends me pictures of my baby. Twice I overpaid and didn't realize and they made sure I got my money back. They are honest, caring, good people and I am grateful for them. I looked at another daycare close to my work yesterday...DOESN'T COMPARE!!! KCLC took care of my little boy for well over year, and they did a fabulous job! I really couldn't have found a better place. I was nervous about daycare and they really made the transition easy for me. I needed a center that could accommodate my son being picked up around 7:00am and returned at 12:30- so he could attend a special day school. A lot of the centers I contacted couldn't accommodate both pick up and drop off. I would drop off ~ 6:30am and they would take care of the rest. These folks had no issue with accommodating us. They really bring the fun in the summer months, and provide meals on a regular basis. My son always came home happy, and never had any complaints. The only reason we are no longer there is because my son has moved on to full time school. I highly recommend this center! Take a chance on them, you won't regret it. read more

My daughter was enrolled at Kiddies Creative Learning Center from April 2013 until November 2013. I was just returning to work after a long maternity leave and found them based on the recommendation of a colleague. I can honestly say that I absolutely LOVED KCLC and the care all the teachers gave my baby. The ladies at KCLC loved my daughter the way they would love their own. And she loved them too. She was happy to be dropped off in the morning and was happy when I picked her up. She always seemed to be having a great time. They are also very reasonably priced and their hours are great. I was very sorry that I had to take my daughter out of KCLC (I found a job closer to home so I had to find childcare closer to my new job). Had it not been for that, she would still be there. Suzie, Ruzanna, Nvart - everyone there is amazing. They are patient, loving and kind. I cried on my daughter's last day (they did too); I miss them so much. I plan on staying in touch since they are a group of very special ladies. I recommend KCLC without hesitation!!! read more

My son went here when he turned 1 until he turned 4 (2009-2012) and my son, wife and I loved it. They were very reasonably priced compared to the other 3-4 daycares we visited back then and they are super friendly. The entire staff was awesome, my son also loved them all. The food is home cooked and that was very important to us. We took my son there about a year ago to say HI and they were so excited to see him and even sat him down with the other kids and fed him lunch, they definately treat you like family. If i had to say something negative, i just wish they would update their playground cause you can tell its needs it. The big slide they have is metal and it used to worry me during the summer heat. Of course the way the treat the children is more important then a playground, and they treat them great....but a nice updated playground is nice too. We drive by and my now 5 year old still says "look...theres my old school". It may not be the biggest, brightest, fanicest daycare you will come across but don't judge a book by its cover. Give 'em a try. read more

My youngest is a "spirited" child. I had to use a different daycare because we don't live in Van Nuys and our kids are in a different school district so KCLC isn't able to pick him them up after school. Even that is awesome, they pick up kids after school! KCLC has been the only daycare to effectively deal with my youngest child. The staff at KCLC is amazing! read more

The women in the infant room are phenomenal!!!!!! I am so happy I found them. I had a horrible incident at another daycare where they called me to pick up my baby, because she was crying. My daughter has been at Kiddies Creative Learning Center since she was 3 months old, she is now 4years old and will soon be going to the pre-school bungalow and after that i will utilize the after school program. I can't stress enough how much I LOVE this place. All of the teachers are awesome I've never had a complaint from my daughter. My daughter is now 18.5 months and she's been going to KCLC since she was 5.5 months old. She's in the infant class which is from 0-24 months. 1. They cook their own food so they're more nutritious than the ones that other day care provides who order fastfood. 2. They have lots of toys and my daughter really likes the indoor slide. She's got lots of practice at it that whenever she sees a slide, it doesn't take her long to climb up on it even if the slide is twice her height. 3. The teachers are very loving. My husband and I were looking for a facility where my daughter would feel like she's being taken care of by a family member and KCLC fits that description best. My daughter really loves her teachers especially Teacher Nvart. 4. They have teachers in the morning and different teachers in the afternoon. Since we drop off our daughter at 7:30am and picks her up at 5:30pm, I am often relieve to know that the teachers are not with the kids all day. It takes a lot of energy to take care of one infant, how much more four infants. There is one teach per four infants. 5. The kids at the day care are very happy and outgoing. Whenever we drop off our daughter, the other kids would greet her and some of the older ones would even say her name. 6. Whenever we pick up our daughter, the other kids would also come over with smiling faces and say hi. Yes, sometimes they are crying babies. However, the times where there were crying babies were a lot lower than the times when we saw happy babies. 7. The playground is very nice. I would prefer if the playground is covered so they can go outside even if it's just drizzling or very hot during summer. However, since my daughter is in the infant program, playing outside wasn't as important as it is now because she has lots of room to crawl inside when she was younger and does not require as much lot area. 8. There's always somebody who picks up the phone when I call. I do not like leaving a voicemail. 9. When my daughter had rashes from a medicine that her daughter prescribe, the staff at KCLC let us know right away. It wasn't a life threatening situation according to my pediatrician's office so my husband picked her up from the facility and took her to the doctor. 10. The teachers in the afternoon don't speak English like a native speaker. However, I am able to understand them. I think it's good to expose my daughter to another language anyways. My daughter gets lots of hugs from her teachers and I think that's the best form of communication at the infant level. To know that they are loved. 11. One time, we picked up my daughter and she had a bite mark on her face and another time, her face was scratched. My husband and I were very upset like any parent would. However, if I were there, I don't think I could have prevented it anyways. I could be a stay at home mom and not let other kids be near my daughter. But I was a child myself. I've had bruises even if I was all by myself and I really prefer to have other kids play with my daughter and that fighting cannot be avoided. I did see them breaking up a fight several times so it's good that kids learn how to treat each other nicely early on. 12. Price is also good. We pay $140 per week. I think it's now $160 for incoming infants. 13. They open from 6am-6pm. read more

Very sweet ladies who Love your kids. My daughter gets so excited when we walk through the gate, which is such a comfort to me. It would be so hard to leave her with people she didn't like, but she adores all her teachers. We have had our daughter at KCLC since she was 3 months old. I was so worried about leaving her because she wasn't a bottle-fed baby, but the wonderful ladies in the baby house got her to drink from a bottle in no time. I love that they feed the kids and that the food is prepared on site. They are also really affordable compared to the other daycares that we looked at. And their hours are the best. They are closed on some of those school/bank holidays when you probably still have to work, but there are wonderful ladies who work there who would happily babysit for you for the day if you don't have someone for backup. From what I've heard about other friends' and coworkers' childcare, I think KCLC is less paranoid about kid booger goo germs. Kids are sticky and gooey and they lick everything and are building their immune systems, and I think some places are too quick to sanitize everything and send your kid home if they have sniffles. Of course they call you if your baby is sick, but they don't sweat the runny noses. And they keep the place very clean, of course. Other places just seems more OCD to a fault. I wish the playground was a little more current, but they recently added shade, and I don't think they play outside in the crazy hot part of the day anyway. In the morning and evening when pickups and drop offs are non stop, the doors are usually open to the outside air, but when I've been there in the middle of a hot day in the Valley, everything is shut up tight to keep in the AC and keep the kids cool. We are so grateful that we found KCLC and that they had an opening for our baby. read more

I feel bad giving bad reviews to anyones business, but I also feel like I must warn any unsuspecting parent considering this daycare for an infant...I guess everyones observation level is different and everyones standards for their child.I went in for a tour of this daycare for my 1yr old and immediate red flags went up. first the front gate wasnt locked so any crazy person walking down victory blvd could barge into the playground ( seen the news lately!!) second the first thing I saw was kids playing out in the sun and 2 teachers standing under the shade with their arms crossed talking. when I went to the infant room the workers seemed nice enough but the had like 8 babies sitting in high chairs eating with the front door open and a fan it was like they were eating in a barn or something...then when I went in to view where the kids nap the front door was also propped open with a vaccum, this is the door that also faces victory blvd. Finally just sticking my head in the changing room was revolting it smelled soooo bad.
