Fast delivery and the food came hot and tasty. Been searching for a good Chinese restaurant and this place maybe our go to place for delivery. Ordered the cold sesame noodle and it tasted really good. Had their General Tsos chicken, wonton soup and scallion pancakes and they were delicious. They do charge for sauces hence for the 4 star but not ground breaking because they give you 4 packets of each sauces. Will try other dishes but I always try the cold sesame noodle as my dish to test if this Chinese restaurant is any good. I liked it! read more

I placed an order for 2 lunch specials with fried rice, when food was delivered both dishes had white rice. When I called the restaurant i was told they ran out of fried rice (ridiculous), they should have called me an informed me that they were out of fried rice. They shouldn't have delivered what ever they felt like. I feel that this is a horrible way to run a business. I hate white rice. read more

Delivery guy demanded a tip. We only use delivery. I had a stroke & cannot get there. The food is good but when the order arrives, the shrimp with lobster sauce came in small soup bowls rather than a deep dish. No utensils, no napkins, no sauces or mustard, charged extra for duck sauce but none arrived, no noodles for the soup & the deliveyman demanded a cash tip although a tip was put on thr charge card. Have been coming here since I was a kid as this place is the closest chinese takeout near me. As a kid, my dad would sometimes order the fried chicken with french fries and I always loved it. My friends and I would always come here to dine in after hanging out in the park, and we would always order the lunch special. We'd always try something new and it became a weekly tradition. This place always brings back the nostalgia, and I'm glad the food still tastes as good as I remember. My go to's are the general tso chicken, bbq spare ribs with fried rice and the fried chicken wings with fried rice. With the lunch special, it would be cheaper and they gave you a soda on the side. Owner is always super nice, and I call ahead of time now and the food is always on time and hot/fresh to eat. Would recommend coming here for chinese take out! read more

THIS PLACE SUCKS! I went in around 3:30pm ( I learned NOT to go to a resturant when they 1st open cause you get leftovers from night before) I ordered to go chicken wings and fries! Simple right? Yet my food looked RE FRIED when I got home! I have photos to prove it! The fries were old or they put it in the oil too soon still cold fries were a greasy mess! I tasted a fries one squirted old oil! I nearly vomit! Garbage! A waste of money! They don't deserve NOT EVEN ONE STAR! but it would not let me review! And it's dirty flies all over! I only ever really come here because it's close by my house. However, the food is good enough for chinese takeout. The food isn't drenched in oil and it's still pretty flavorful. I've never really had any issues with the food here. The only thing I dislike is how rundown the interior of the restaurant is. When waiting for my food I can feel my appetite decrease cause of how rundown all the tables and chairs are. Which makes me wonder how the back of the kitchen is. Another fast food Chinese restaurant catering to the American Chinese food affectionate; doesn't mean it wasn't good though. Ordered take out on a few occasions. Here's what I bought. Pork Fried Rice: Perhaps it was the hook up from my cousin but the dish had more pork than rice. Contrast to other establishments, New Great Wall's rendition of the fried rice is based predominantly on a heavy amount of soy sauce, thus giving the rice a welcoming charred brown color. The taste itself, although slightly salty, is balanced out by the green peas, carrots, bean sprouts, and onions used in the application. Eating the Fried Rice revealed that the excessive amount of pork used in the rice had an approximate ratio of 1:1. Biting into the rice was similar to eating a pork chop. Of course, the pork chop itself had a nice balance of fat and lean texture, thus giving the fried rice additional flavor. It's good for a quick fix lunch. But definitely don't expect the world. read more

Upon pretty much living with my boyfriend in Sheepshead Bay, I come here fairly regularly for lunch or dinner when I'm alone and don't feel like driving anywhere! I find that this place is pretty clean. I like that I can see the person cooking my food as I wait for it when I get take out. The staff is really helpful and friendly, and have never messed up any order. My favorite meals here are the lemon chicken and the chicken with cashews. Chicken with cashews here is actually pretty delicious. I had it for the first time here, and only have had it here. There are a variety of flavors in it, and it is very filling. Chicken with brown sauce, cashew nuts, celery, string beans, carrots, mushrooms and corn. I like it! Obviously, this isn't a five star, gourmet restaurant. But, I find it to be of pretty good quality, service, and cleanliness. $10 minimum on credit cards! read more

Awesome Chinese take out place in Brooklyn! Love the taste of their Pork Lo Mein noodle and their fried chicken wings! They give you a full wing, unless American restaurants give you 1/2 of a chicken wing and charge you for the price of a whole wing. read more

The food is consistently good, fast delivery & good prices. They are near my work so I order a lot. They make 100 special requests for me and never make a mistake. Adding and removing things I want or don't. Always nice and accommodating , delivery man is very nice and always follows requests to call instead of ring. read more

I'm fairly new in the neighborhood and found this place a short 2 blocks from my home. I thought, SCORE, a Chinese place I can walk to in less than 3 minutes. I would rather walk to New Jersey than order from this place again. My wife ordered Shrimp w/ lobster sauce. They didn't mention on the menu that it came with lobster shell pieces in it. I had the Spare Rib w/ black bean sauce. I thought I was chewing on a handball with my first bite. Look, I'm 64 yo, born and raised in Brooklyn, and have been eating Chinese take out my entire life. I'm amazed there's so many of these around brooklyn, makes me wonder maybe are they all different owners or is it really a chain of the same owner. Because if it is i dont understand how theyre making money. It's honestly the worst chinese take out ive ever had. My aunts love this place for some reason and i honestly dont get it. The fried rice is gross and lacks flavor. the chicken lo mein, isnt even the right lo mein noodle its almost like spaghetti noodle and just also lacks flavor... the only things i like from here is the fried scallops (its imitation scallops, but i dont see a lot of chinese take outs have this usually but i really like it actually). The ribs and fried chicken are decent and the sweet and sour chicken is good, if they dont over fry it. but honestly i almost NEVER order from here, i only eat it when my aunts order it. Meh. Not much to say about this place. Doesn't seem too clean here. Their food isn't great but it's not bad. It could be a lot better. Prices are cheap, but I wouldn't come Here. I order takeout about once a month from this place and they are always on time. When a girl tells me 15 minutes - it's always 15 minutes exactly! I don't know whether the guy is standing outside waiting to the exact moment! The prices are not bad. I've never really had a problem with Chinese food prices in Brooklyn. The food is filling and overall not bad. My only complaint is that I've been in there a couple of times and they could clean it up a little bit better. Not much to say about this place, except that the owners are crooks. They try and trick you into paying more by bullshitting and selling gimmicks instead of food. They add 2-3$ extra on top of the price of the food. I wouldn't really recommend this place.
