I've worked my way through several items on the menu, including the steak omelet, Eggs Benedict served on their house made crumpets, and the loaded hash. Every meal has been cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and very reasonably priced. What really keeps us coming back, though, is the hospitality. The staff is genuinely friendly, coffee cups never stay empty for long, and everyone greets you with a smile that makes you feel like a regular. I even asked the barista and they kindly switched my Americano for their decaf drip. But that was just as bad so it's definitely the roast. I'm guessing their other roasts are better, and like I said the food and service were great for me. But if you drink decaf I really don't think this is your spot.

When I arrived, there was only one car on each side of the stand--hardly a busy time. The car in front of me left shortly after I pulled up, so there was no reason for a delay. A different car pulled up behind me right after I got to the window. When I reached the window, I received absolutely no acknowledgment. No greeting, no "we'll be right with you," nothing. The owner stepped out of the stand on my side, continued talking with the baristas, and still did not acknowledge my presence. She then walked past my car and took the order of the vehicle behind me, completely ignoring the customer already waiting at the window. For nearly six minutes, not one person--neither the owner nor the multiple baristas inside--said a single word to me or made any attempt to take my order. Instead, they began preparing the order for the car that had arrived after me while I continued to sit there with no service whatsoever. This level of disregard is unacceptable. When a stand is not busy and several employees are present, being ignored entirely--especially while someone who arrived later is served first--is beyond unprofessional. I left extremely disappointed and frustrated, and this experience has seriously made me reconsider returning

With a great view of lake whatcom this coffee shop serves up artisan coffees, as well as craft cocktails. A great place for a midday coffee date, or an evening drink rendezvous. For breakfast this weekend morning I started with the 43 & coffee. A pleasant mixture of bourbon with cold brew in the bottom with a healthy dose of cream on top, and just a hint of orange. This was definitely a top notch treat to start my morning. Next for my meal I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich. This one was very simple when it comes to breakfast sandwiches, but done very well. Egg, bacon, and arugula on a toasted ciabatta bun smeared with garlic aioli. I couldn't have wished for anything more. In an age where everything seems so complicated, I can appreciate simplicity. Excellent flavor delivered in a perfectly sized package. In short our journey to Lakeline was a great experience. I regret not coming to visit sooner, but I will definitely be coming back in the near future.

The lady who took our order and made our drinks was quite pleasant to confer with and had a great attitude. People would walk in and out to order their food or drink but other than that it was relatively quiet. Another thing not often seen at other places was the variety of seating, Maple bar has high chairs, big tables with benches, cozy chairs, and even small sectioned off areas to sit. Inside was colorful, bright, and warm. It definitely put me in a bright mood for the day! Great study spot! I would recommend!
