    Inside the lamb pasty
    April S.

We happened upon this place but found them closed, so we made a note of their hours and stopped by the following week. We bought two of each meat pasty and the breakfast pasty. Then we ordered a lemon bar, two cherry turnover, an apple turnover, and a brownie bar (for real, with crust). Everything is flavorful and not too salty or sweet (you'll taste those cherries!). Our favorites were the lamb and pork pasties. The chicken pot pie is nice but too loaded with peas for my daughter. The beef pasty has a subtle hamburger flavor. My fam also enjoyed the house pasty sauce and BBQ sauce that are side options if you'd like. These pasties are BIG, like two meals or feed two people big. The turnovers are reasonable size but the pasties are large, so don't be deterred by the price if you're afraid you're not going to get your money's worth--plus it's made with local raised meats and organic veggies. I would say a worthy place to stock the freezer for warm fall/winter meals or a h*ckin' choice for an impromptu PNW picnic.

Don't eat here. If you do, you will become addicted to their pies, eat far too many of them and forever have a freezer full of more should you ever get hungry again. Holly is super friendly and can be found in the shop often, taking your order and helping you decide which flavors you can't live without. She has another shop in Bellingham which may be helpful since you simply can't find anything comparable anywhere at any price.

Vegetarian - mushroom, potato, peas, celery, etc. reheated from frozen at home. So delicious!

We were just driving through Everson to go to Cloud Mountain Farms one Saturday afternoon when this place caught our eye. We are so glad we stopped! We got some frozen pasties to heat up later when we got home for dinner! I had the vegetarian mushroom. It tasted like Thanksgiving in a buttery, flaky crust! My husband said the chicken pot pie was also delicious. The pasties reheated in the oven perfectly. My only regret was not buying more for another day!

Working around the area and thought I give this place a try. 1st off awesome acknowledgement as I walked In i was greeted promptly. Told her it's my 1st time and she explained what choices I have for hot yummy pastry. Lots to pick from I decided on the pork empanada. It was really good. I will swing by when I'm around the area and try the other selections.

1/2 eaten beef pasty. The photo was a second thought!

Great pies! Delicious and we will no doubt be returning customers. My wife and I recommend this place without reservation.

Delicious and so filling. Absolutely made for an amazing meal. I ordered 2 of the holiday pies and I regret not getting more.

I drive over an hour to get these pies. The beef pies are my favorite but honestly, I love all flavors. Enjoy!

These things are good! Great business, too. Truly the only downside is the limited hours but that's not a star removal.

The dining room was elegant yet cozy, with great lighting. The staff was also very friendly and our waiter was very helpful in aiding our choice. We ordered the Focaccia bread, the salmon momtadito and the tonnarelli as our entree. The focaccia was the only dissapointing item as it was very basic in my opinion, which isn't bad but just nothing exciting to write about. The appetizer, the salmon montadito, was probably my favorite item of the night. It was served on focaccia bread and drizzled with a truffle honey butter and sat upon a mascarapone yogurt. It was elegant and it was incredibly flavorful. The sweetness of the truffle honey butter was a great contrast to the salmon itself, and all melted together to make an exceptional appetizer. The tonnarelli was a pasta dish we split and was also very tasty. The pasta itself was a thicker spaghetti like pasta served with plenty of crab. It was tasty and it satisfied and I'd likely order it again as I will be back when my sister's visit. All in all, a great restaurant to spend a nice night right in the heart of Bellingham!

The Loft is a happy hour favorite from yesteryear. And I'm pretty sure I haven't visited in at least 5 or 6 years. It used to be an after work happy hour staple for me and my Bham friends. With great drink prices and delicious appies, it was always a win. Yesterday, The Dude and I hit them up for happy hour and I was excited to see some of their old staples still on the menu - including reasonably priced beer and their famous dry ribs! We also grabbed a caesar salad and a side of garlic rosemary mashed potatoes to share. The dry ribs were all that I remembered. They're tender yet crispy, and perfectly seasoned. The potatoes were tasty, too. The salad was a disappointment, unfortunately. We also enjoyed a couple of beers, which are only $5.50 on the HH menu. Our server, who was also the bartender, was incredible! And of course, you can't beat the beautiful harborside setting here.

The waitress was awful, she kind of wandered back and forth because she couldn't multi task. She forgot various things we requested. Some guy came out (bartender maybe) and asked us how things were, but he answered his own question with 'good' and walked off. If he would have allowed me to answer I would have told him. Came here years ago now I remember why this place isn't a regular happy hour location for us. Just all around gross. Will never be back.
