They have a great iced latte flavor, which I think is toddy/cold brew. I like my iced lattes bitter but smooth and this is good.

I used to really love xtreme bean when the owner would serve me. She was always very sweet. But recently they changed their system a bit where if you order an iced latte they use toddy shots which is cold brew. I didn't order cold brew I ordered an iced latte- you know with espresso shots and I wanted caramel syrup but instead of informing me that they only Carry the sauce they just started making my drink. Caramel sauce is way sweeter than caramel syrup. I felt like a jerk asking them to start over. They were visibly annoyed. But it's very unhelpful when they don't confirm with you the type of drink you want and just automatically assume what you want. I did not like the customer service. read more

I make the drive up Hwy 542 once or twice a month, and I like to support small, local, and out of the way business's so I started skipping my former coffee stop in Bellingham and stopping at Xtreme Bean in Everson, for one it's far easier to get in and out than my former stop at Sunset Square, and everyone knows what a traffic nightmare that is! I love Xtreme Bean, everything I've ordered there has been great, and keeps me alert for my drive up Hwy 542. I have noticed that the drive thru can be a little slow, so if there are two or more cars in line I park and go inside and I always get helped right away. The barista's are very friendly, and the prices are very reasonable as well, so I'm also saving money, another bonus! If Xtreme Bean were open later in the evening I would stop by on my way back towards Bellingham too. 5 Stars, great job keep it up, small business all the way!! read more

Stopped in at Xtreme Bean Espresso for an afternoon pick me up! They have a Drive Thru window, but you can also go inside. Coffee, espresso, smoothies, sandwiches, wraps, and more are available here. I opted for a cup of their coffee - strong and delicious! There is a small number of tables here to sit at and eat in. Free Wifi. This is probably one of my favorite coffee shops in my area. They offer drive thru if your on the go, or have some tables inside for those who wish to relax while you enjoy the offerings of Xtreme Bean. There's hot and cold drinks, breakfast options, bakery items etc.... Staff is super friendly and welcoming here. This isn't a franchise coffee shop, so you're getting the real local vibes. Oh, they have homemade jewelry and gifts on display and for sale. They also have Xtreme Bean sweatshirts for sale (my friend loved the one I got her for Christmas, super cozy and soft with many color options). read more

The coffee always tastes burnt. It is the only coffee shop for miles around and I'll stop in if I'm not headed into bellingham and I'm out of coffee at home. Most of the baristas seem like they'd rather be doing just about anything else and rarely mutter a "how are you? " Forget it if you have any special requests like temperature preference or even whipped cream. Chances are your requests will not be granted. I've tried the "food" twice and won't make that mistake a third time. For what it is in the middle of nowhere I'll give them 2 stars. Edited: Over the last year of sporadic coffee stops here, I have seen their customer service improve greatly. They also honor special requests and have become more pleasant. I come to this little shop every time I'm in town for work. It is an adorable coffee shop with great customer service and a great atmosphere (how could I not give 5 stars when Ben Harper is so calmingly playing in the background?). The ladies that work here are always incredibly nice and helpful. The food is basic, but good, reliable, and affordable. Feta-dill cream cheese is amazing. The coffee is fine and the atmosphere inside is nice. I just had a really bad experience with the food. I got the Extreme breakfast wrap and it was unedible: soggy, bland, cheap ingredients, etc. If you had told me that the food was a low grade frozen, pre-made burrito that was heated up I'd believe you. If you had told me that you bought it an airport, let it sit in your car for a day, and then heated it up and put it on a plate I'd believe you. read more
