    My nails look great!

Great job on my feet and hands! Respectful and kind! I enjoyed the pleasant environment and atmosphere.

    Right after (unimpressed)

I was visiting my sister and nieces in the area and wanted to take my youngest niece to get our nails done together. This was close by and I didn't look into much as doing a dip fill and manicure are generally pretty straight forward. We went in and there were maybe 4 workers and 3 available, the man at the front greeted us and asked what we wanted to do. I told him a dip fill for me and a manicure for my 9 year old niece. He asked gel? I said no, thank you, just regular. He persisted, "gel so much better, regular won't last at all." She's 9, but whatever, I said fine. They take her to the back row of stations and I follow and I'm told I would be up front (2 rows away) even though stations were open right beside her. I was really trying to spend time with her so this wasn't ideal, but I agreed. The woman I have gets a bowl of liquid and tells me to stick my hand in it and it burns almost immediately. I realize it's acetone and find out later this is the old way it was done before places wrapped (I've gone to probably half a dozen+ salons over the years and done dip for 3+ years and always had it done wrapped). Anyways, I say it's sort of burning and she seems annoyed and takes my left hand and immediately starts trying to pry the acrylic off and rips my nail under the first finger because she tried to take them off within 30 seconds. I said well that's not really going to work. First she says, well I guess I can't do it. And I ask " can we wrap them." She calls to the other woman and says something in another language mentions the acetone, then laughs in a mocking way telling her and referring to me. The other woman is basically just like it's fine, put your nails in. So I'm like alright, it burned some but I got used to it, but I really didn't want my hands in a bowl of acetone either. So she starts going though the process and I realize she's not had me wash my hands as there's generally nail debris all over and they have you wash your hands before applying the dip color. I say something and she says, " no you wash after". So then she asks if I want to pay before she puts on top coat, I say fine. $80 total. I give her $100 and ask for 2 $10's (to tip them both). She gives me a $10 and 2 $5's and I place one $10 up next to me while she is finishing and the $5's in my lap so I can give to the other nail tech. She looks annoyed and somewhat angrily says, "yours $45, hers $35." I respond, "yeah, ok." (I didn't ask and I don't know if she was annoyed with getting over 20% for her bad attitude and crappy work but left it at that.) She finishes up and tells me to dry for 5 mins and wash my hands. So I do, then I see her going to start a pedicure, I ask if we were done and she said yes. (Hasn't done a lotion, massage, or said thank you at this point.) I find the other woman who did my nieces nails and say thank you to her and give her $10 and go and tip my lady $10 and tell her I tipped the other one separate. I honestly can't recall if she even said thank you back. My nails looked pretty mediocre to bad immediately, my fingers were dry and had acetone dried that wouldn't come off, my cuticles were not done, and within hours I started noticing cracks across my nails and had not done much of anything in the day or banged them to cause this. Within the next couple days they got exponentially worse, chipping and cracking from my normal daily activities (which have never once caused any kind of cracks or damage like this). It's hard to show it in pictures but the cracks and chunks out of the nails were over half of my nails by day 3 and looked absolutely terrible. My nieces nails looked cute and she was happy so I was initially going to give 2 stars, then found out when we got back that her nail tech told her "pink or blue" as her only options which is obviously outrageous and sealed the deal for this place getting just 1 star.

I hate doing bad reviews, but I feel like this should be shared. I will start by saying my pedicure was WONDERFUL. The lady that did it did an amazing job. HOWEVER, when it came to my finger nails, I've never had such a bad experience in my life. First off, the picture I showed him looked nothing like this, but he couldn't seem to get the hearts right so I asked him to just do one on each ring finger. Second, he filed my nails so hard that most of them bled. I cringed and pulled back a little when he started making me bleed, but he kept yanking my hand until it was loose again. The ring finger was supposed to be a clear color like the picture I showed, but I went along with it when he decided to use white. But this then turned into a pinkish color when he mixed the white with red on my other nails. He kept asking if I was ok, because I was about to cry due to my bleeding fingers and it all turning out nothing like what I wanted. I asked him about the pink ring nail and he asked if I wanted him to redo it. I apologized, but asked if he would just redo it red like the rest. He ignored me and said "you're ok". He said something in another language to a lady working there and she quickly glanced at my one my hands but that's all. The dip on my nails turned out uneven, some messed up, and my poor nail beds throbbing. I paid, left, and went straight to Publix for acetone to remove them.

I love getting my nails done here. The women are always very friendly and they do such a wonderful job.
