The seats are very heavily stained, have food crumbs all over them, crayon melted into the seat fabric, black stains, all throughout. Instead of giving this car, a quick vacuum and wipe down, they opted to cover the seats with seat covers, and leave the change and trash in the backs of the front seats. They came down on the price $500, which is honestly a little pathetic. The value of this car I got impressing condition with no body damage, all the splash guards, and clean seats is $10,580.. I paid $10,500. I took it back in to get detailed at Buckeye superstore trying to give them one last shot, and the seats came out a little better, sure. But there is still melted into the seat, black and grime all in the arm trim. The have black stains all over them. It looks like all they may have done is vacuum up some of the debris.

I was in the neighborhood of one of the large retail muffler and brake shops, so against my better judgment, I decided to let them look at it. I was told by the manager that my AC compressor was bad and that I needed a new one. The manager claimed to be an HVAC expert and quoted me around $650 to do the job. I was not convinced, so I began to look for a local mechanic. I must say that I stumbled on Mid-Ohio Automotive with a simple Google search. Bryan (the owner) was very professional yet somewhat skeptical (based on his years of experience with HVAC) about the information I had received from the chain store. Bryan suggested I bring it in and let him take a look at it. I agreed. Well, am I glad I found this businessman! He did all of the diagnostics and advised that my compressor was working just fine. One possible reason for the AC malfunction could have been a bad contact with the temperature gauge. It's odd, but it is definitely not a faulty AC compressor. The AC is blowing cold now, so I decided that I am just going to drive it and see how it goes. If I experience trouble again, I am definitely going back to Mid-Ohio. In short, Bryan is honest, fair, and extremely knowledgeable. He will not advise you to do any work that does not need done. He uses only quality parts and should be recognized for his upstanding business practices. Customer service is way below par. I had my windows tinted 4/27 and everything went great. The…read moreinstaller (owner) said wait 3 days to roll your windows down and to let the tint adhere to the windows/get all the bubbles out. Great, right? Not exactly. After 3 days I noticed a defect on 3 out of the 5 windows. 2 of them had bubbles, and 1 had a botched cut at the bottom corner. On 5/7/2012, the installer redid the ones with bubbles but refused to redo the one with the bad cut. He tried to cover it up with what looked like sharpie and I told him to take it off because it looked worst then just the bad cut. I complained again that I was not happy with the solution and he still refused not to fix it. I also overheard him say that this is a shame to undo a good tint job to fix these minor things and complain to the other guy that was working there. Overall, I am shocked with the customer service that is supposed to have 30 years of experience. I am submitting a BBB complaint on this company.

My relative has contacted McDaniel multiple times since then, and they keep telling him that he should see the refund soon. It is now mid May, and absolutely no progress appears to have been made. Edit: my relative misunderstood their refund processing time. They still deserve points off for taking advantage of my relative's inability to say no and selling him a vehicle that he could not afford.
