This school excels with small class sizes, passionate teachers, very responsive and thoughtful administration and a wide range of elective classes that are not found at other local private and public schools (i.e. choir, journalism, Spanish, music, home economics, school trips, sports, etc). My daughter attended both a local public TUSD school and another local parochial private school before we enrolled her here. Additionally, I did comprehensive site visits and interviews at 8 private school in the Tustin/Orange area and this school topped our list. We were very happy to be part of the Red Hill Lutheran school community.

We left orchard hills elementary, constant bullying, 1st-3rd teacher doesn't inform the parents of anything that happens , and vice principal doesn't do anything about the same bully for two years . Fed up we ended up going back to St.Cecilia. We left because I couldn't afford to put all 3 kids in private, since public schools are great in Irvine ( not orchard hills elementary apparently) Smaller class size, not always letting your kids sit on the iPad like the public schools with 30 plus kids- (because that's just easier for them ). You know that staff is here at the school for the right reasons. Curriculum is standard, but I'm here to make sure my kids aren't bullied and grow up to be a good person. I am not Catholic, but having religion and the basic virtues of living life the right way is most important.

Over the years, we have met incredible families and built friendships that will last a lifetime. Our children have formed strong bonds with classmates, and those friendships have grown year after year. There is something very special about being part of a community where everyone genuinely cares about one another. One of the things I have always appreciated is the small class sizes, usually around 15 to 18 students. It allows teachers to truly know each child, not just their name, but their personality, strengths, and areas where they may need extra support. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure every student feels seen, supported, and safe. Knowing that safety is always a top priority gives parents incredible peace of mind. We are very thankful we pulled our children away from this Pseudo Jewish School, it caters to…read morenon-Jewish people who are not interested in Judaism, only focuses on admissions to hyper competitive colleges. If a TVT student gets behind, he or she loses Judaic Studies to keep up with hyper competitive children. Administrators do not take Jewish children as priority, in fact, more than half students there are not Jewish, it is a misrepresentation to call this a Jewish school, celebrating other culture's holiday months long opposed to one day, check out their auditorium wall in February and on. The over offered non-Kosher food selections. Needless to say more, beware!
