The program is demanding and requires a strong commitment, but every challenge was worth it in the end. The director of the DH program and instructors truly want their students to succeed and were always supportive, encouraging, and available whenever guidance was needed. The curriculum and clinical experience helped me build confidence, strengthen my skills, and prepare for real-life experiences in the dental field. There were definitely difficult moments along the way, but the program pushed me to grow into a capable and knowledgeable clinician. I'm very thankful for everything I learned and for the support system the program provided throughout the journey. I'm proud to have been part of this program and would highly recommend it to anyone pursuing a career in dental hygiene.

This message is for the below comment by the name of HANNAH who changed her name so she is not…read morerecognized while attending the school she is disrespecting!!!!!! I rarely take the time to write public comments, but after reading this review, I feel it is important to offer a balanced and honest perspective based on real experience. I am currently a student in the Dental Hygiene program at Concorde, and my experience has been nothing like what was described here. In fact, it has been one of the most challenging, structured, and professionally rewarding educational experiences I have ever had. Dental hygiene is not an easy path. It is academically demanding, clinically intensive, and requires a high level of discipline, accountability, and resilience. That is the nature of healthcare education -- not a flaw of the institution. Mrs. Santucho, our Program Director, is an exceptional leader. Her dedication to students is visible on a daily basis. She advocates for us, supports us, guides us, and invests an extraordinary amount of time ensuring students are prepared not only to pass exams, but to become competent, ethical clinicians. Her door is always open, and her commitment to student success is something every serious student quickly recognizes. WE ALL LOVE MRS. SANTUCHO!!! I would especially like to address the comments regarding Dr. Z, because they are deeply inconsistent with the reality experienced by many students. Dr. Z is one of the most knowledgeable, prepared, and intellectually grounded instructors in the program. Her command of the material is remarkable. She does not simply teach from slides or textbooks -- she explains concepts with depth, clinical relevance, and clarity that reflect true mastery of the subject. More importantly, Dr. Z embodies what education should represent: professionalism, fairness, patience, and humanity. She challenges students because she understands the responsibility attached to this profession. Precision, critical thinking, and competence are not optional in dental hygiene -- they are essential. Dr. Z holds students to high standards not out of harshness, but out of integrity and commitment to patient safety. There is a profound difference between an instructor being "unfair" and an instructor refusing to lower academic standards. Students sometimes confuse being challenged with being treated unfairly. However, growth in any healthcare profession requires discomfort, correction, and accountability. Dr. Z consistently provides clarification, guidance, and support to students who are willing to engage, learn, and apply themselves. Beyond her academic excellence, Dr. Z is also one of the most compassionate and respectful individuals I have encountered. She treats students with dignity, patience, and genuine care. She is approachable, supportive, and deeply invested in student understanding -- not superficial memorization. It is easy to criticize instructors who refuse to compromise educational quality. It is far more difficult to acknowledge the value of educators who prepare students for real-world clinical responsibility. Regarding the faculty as a whole, Concorde's professors are licensed dental professionals with real clinical experience. This is not incidental -- it is fundamental to the quality of education provided. Who better to prepare students for patient care than practitioners who understand clinical decision-making, ethical responsibility, instrumentation, infection control, and patient management firsthand? Healthcare education must be guided by professionals for future professionals. Strict attendance policies, academic rigor, and structured expectations are not signs of dysfunction -- they are reflections of program integrity. Clinical professions demand reliability, competence, and responsibility. Educational standards must mirror professional standards. Every student's journey is personal, and academic environments are naturally demanding. However, frustration or personal dissatisfaction should not be misrepresented as institutional failure. Many of us are thriving in this program, feel supported by faculty, respect the academic structure, and recognize the immense effort our instructors invest in student success. Education is a partnership. Instructors provide knowledge, structure, and guidance. Students must provide effort, accountability, and commitment. My experience at Concorde has been defined by professionalism, support, and high-quality instruction. I am genuinely grateful for the respect, care, and dedication shown by the professors throughout this program. In fact, if given the choice, I would confidently choose this program again. Despite the rigor and challenges inherent to dental hygiene education, the level of support, commitment, and genuine concern for student success provided by the faculty makes this experience truly valuable.

The school approved a 90-day leave agreement. However, around day 82, before the agreed period ended, the school contacted me and informed me that my program was being shut down. They also stated that I would not receive my certificates and that I would still be responsible for outstanding fees and payments, despite the program being discontinued before I could complete it. I would not recommend this school. As a nonprofit organization, they often experience delays in receiving materials, sometimes taking two to three months. The staff's communication with students is unprofessional, and they do not provide meaningful assistance with job placement after completion. However, if someone is simply looking for a way to pass time, this school may be an option. Mr.Bridges
