Great school for beginners or for people who have been to others school and didn't make it through or felt they were not learning anything. Plenty of one on one training. Lots of driving hours. Plus they do in house testing so you do not have to test at the DMV. Instructors are awesome and very helpful and knowledgeable. read more

I've witnessed multiple drivers texting while driving. Safety is obviously not a concern with this company. Hopefully, they don't end killing someone because their eyes were on their phone instead of on the road. read more

I came to this trucking school thinking it was going to be bad because there is so many bad reviews but it was the complete opposite i never leave reviews but i was so happy with my experience i wish I could've stayed forever lol it made me feel like i was in highschool again, you meet cool interesting people some instructors knew me and we would joke around... i got my permit and cdl license in less than a month i was impressed on how fast i got it... the instructors aren't mean they scream sometimes but you must be soft if you let that affect you lol. I personal would not work for this company. They are very unprofessional and don't care about their employees. Anyone who is looking for a truck company to work for this is not the one, I would not recommend this company to anyone especially here in California. They will give your truck away with your personal belongings without your knowledge to someone else. (happened multiple times). The CR England Representative/recruiter named Silvia, misrepresented herself and the company by giving false information and promises for attending the training. I was ready to go, but, I wanted to verify a promise she made to me before I left. However, when pressed for the honest truth about her claims, she in turn disqualified me for calling her out on it. Premier is the trucking school for CR England. Horrible. Stay away from it as much as you can. I went to the school with my permit already in hand. I needed the skills and road training. I was promised excellent training and great teachers. I got the complete opposite. Too many students. Lazy trainers. Hardly any trainers on the yard to assist students. No time to practice skills. Rude instructors. Disrespectful and borderline discriminatory. Think about this: Monday: Paperwork in the morning. Only 2 attempts per student to do straight backing in the afternoon. Actual group teachers not present. Tuesday: Got to use the truck only 1 time in the morning and 1 time in the afternoon do try offsetting. One teacher was present, but he was overwhelmed from watching too many students at the same time. He didn't explain anything, but yanked at us when we didn't do the maneuvers correctly. Rude attitude. Wednesday: Got to use the truck 1 time in the morning to try parallel parking. Started the road program in the afternoon with our actual instructor. He yelled at us and called us stupid when we didn't do something correctly. Thursday: Didn't get to practice on a truck at all. Road portion in the afternoon. More yelling and condescending attitude. Our teacher told someone, "I know English isn't your first language, but don't be that stupid. Throttle -- gas pedal! Fine." Later: "What do you mean by warning sign -- OK sign, High 5, L sign? It's WARNING LIGHT." Friday: Didn't get to practice again. I finally quit after lunch because it's ridiculous. This school doesn't teach. This school looks down upon you, acts disrespectfully, and makes you feel dumb. Stay away! My best advice: Find a real school with real teachers and good coaching. read more

I researched a few Truck driving schools and went cheap at first started at a different school. Big mistake so I redid my research and CR England seem the be by far the best option. I gotta say from the first phone call from the recruiter to everyone in the office on the first day CR England is top notch and everyone seemed to care from the the very beginning. Week one with Day and Mike was awesome, these two know trucking and not only what it will take to pass the CDL exam but how to handle certain situations in real life. All the office personnel are also extremely helpful and friendly. Upgrade manager Darrel is one of the nicest coolest guys I ever met. BC the head trainer really cares and wants all students to pass. My 2nd & 3rd week trainer Demetrius deserves a promotion. His calm demeanor and knowledge really worked for me. And I worked with several other trainers I suggest you pick something up from each of them. I should have done this a long time ago. 10 stars if I could I highly recommend. read more

Cr England was a good enough school if the student is willing to listen and concentrate. Phase 1 was good because I had a great trainer. Phase 2, I had 3 different trainers. the first 2 were complete a$$holes and the 3rd was OK. I then leased and that was a ripoff.I completed the lease after 3 years and then went to Conway as an owner operator and made 5 times the money. All love for the staff and administration at the school in Fontana. They took me in as a newb, and I couldn't get good at tractor trailer driving in 22 days of consecutive early-start, long days. It was Darryl who runs the yard who explained to a few of us holdovers in fair terms, that we were getting sent our ways without a job. There is some chance a bill might appear, I know, and it's naive to think the rest of the guys who didn't get jobs are pleased. But doing the math I know the school spent a lot on its competent and affable instructors: Richard, Ernie, Ernesto, Dee Dee and even the intentional "bad cop" who tried to shape me up. Bless Lawrence and Terry and the rest of the team. It looks like trucking is not for me, but I appreciate the school letting me give it my all. I'm a much safer and saner four wheeler motorist as a result. Also I'll never balk when asked to drive a four on the floor transmission. It's that double clutch, double H that makes me wince. Future drivers, if this doesn't give you a new found appreciation for truckers you're missing something from the curriculum. I took a CDL refresher course at the Cedar Hill, TX location. I must say that I was very pleased with the staff and training that I received. My road evaluator Cameron was very patient and and put my mind at ease. My orientation trainer Dan was EXCELLENT. He answered any questions and concerns that I had. He was very professional and knowledgeable. My overall experience at this location was great. All my questions were answered and I know what to expect. I would highly recommend C.R. Worst company to work! It's unfortunate ur locked into a loan for 1 year and can't leave unless you pay it off urself. You ask for time off, it's approved and then ur sent on a run that you won't be back on time for ur time off request. Not only that they add more stops along the way making ur trip even longer. Now ur holiday plans are ruined and your family has to be alone. The boss doesn't care cuz they're home with their families! Do not work for this company!! read more
