I wasn't familiar with these guys, but when another media detailer (starts with an a) wouldn't return my calls, I thought I'd give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't want to spring for a full detail, so I said just soap and water on the outside, and a full detail inside. The car looks like it's brand new, and they did a lot more than I asked on the outside, the wheels were sparkling. The inside looked like it did when it was brand new, and it was filthy before. I grew up detailing cars so I know a lot of the products and prices. I drive past this place everyday to work , and there is always cars on the lot. To me that's means they must be doing something right. Finding a car detailer is not a easy task considering everybody says they can do it. For me what stands out is the work but mainly the products they use. This place uses Ardex products which is not cheap . Ardex is located in northeast philadelphia . They sale in bulk to body shops and detail shops. There products are top of the line. Once I seen new image work and an Ardex truck delivering product I had to give them a try. I called a day in advance to make an appointment and dropped it off. Detailing takes time so give them 2-4 hours with your car. I bought my car Dec 1, 2014 and new cars don't come with heavy wax on it. New image charges $75 for wash and wax which is an average price. When I picked my car up it looked better then when I bought it. I will use them for my go to shop. read more

I have had both my black Caddy ATS. And now my White ATSV done by these guys. Excellent work as my cars look better than when j bought them. They turned me on to a ceramic coating which I thought it was an up sell. Boy was I wrong. Told my neighbor to get it as well and I recommend anyone going there to pay the extra money. What an amazing feature and it protects paint from bird droppings and tree sap. I used to go to a place on the Main Line but no more. I recently bought a new Subaru Forester and love everything about it. Due to it having very high windows, it felt like I was in a fishbowl. So, I decided to stop by and see about having the driver's and passenger's windows tinted to match the back factory-tinted windows. I dealt with Devin who said I could wait while my car was being worked on provided I got to his shop when the opened the following day. I got there a bit before 8 AM and he pulled in almost at the same time. He immediately got my car into an empty bay and soon, one of his workers got to work. After about 35-40 minutes, the job was done. I was amazed at how great the car now looked. The new tint exactly matched the shade of the factory rear window tint. I wasn't after stealth (limo dark) but just wanted more privacy and that's just what I got. I can't speak highly enough about Devin's customer service or about the professionalism of the other technicians at New Image! I highly recommend this shop to those wanting window tinting or other detailing services done to their vehicles. read more

This weekend I had that rare experience of excellent customer service, superior workmanship at a reasonable price! It was the first time I had a car detailed and Joe (the owner) patiently answered all of my questions and explained each step of the process to me. I have a new Lincoln that i had just driven round trip to Florida. When i picked the car up it looked more beautiful than the day I brought it home from the dealership. They did an awesome job! It is unnerving that you have responded with nothing but lies. 1. I arrived at 5:15 to pick my car up (I distinctly remember calling your shop after having to rush out of my sister's graduation party early) to tell them I was a few minutes away. 2. The initial appointment for the tints included the detail on my CRV which I booked when I made the appointment via phone days earlier. You assumed I meant the Fusion and when you learned I meant the CRV, you said bigger cars take longer and I, very gracefully, said "no worries, I'll come back another day." You relied that I could come back any day I want and I said the following Saturday. I did not "sneak" my car onto your appointment log for the day, leaving you to struggle getting it done. 3. I was incredibly nice to your employees; in fact I spent time playing with his daughter outside while he fixed some things that were done horribly or missed completely. They didn't spend much extra time on my car because I knew they were past closing. 4. I didn't refuse to pay for the service. I told him I didn't feel comfortable paying full price for work that was half-assed. I told him I would call you myself and he said to bring it back next week and he'd work on my car personally. Fact 1. No consumer should pay for a service they did not receive even close to satisfactorily. I do have rights as a consumer, you know. Fact 2. I am not the first customer who has had complaints about your shop. My mom warned me not to go but my brother spoke highly of your tinting service so I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone and do the detail as well. Fact 3. I was nothing but friendly when I answered your call the next morning. I was expecting you to be apologetic for having rushed through my car and not providing good service. To my shock, you immediately threatened to call the police for refusal to pay for services provided. You were an asshole off the bat and when I tried to explain, you were in total denial. Fact 4. Not only was your derailing bad, but your customer service has been non-existent. Your comment to my review only goes to further prove that you are slimy and you lie. Oh! Not to mention, you never asked me to bring the car back that day. I asked you if I could bring it back and you said "you've been driving in it again so of course it won't look perfect now" and "now you want us to do a whole new detail on your car????" when I came to pay I didn't park half a block away; I parked right in YOUR lot, ya dick! read more

Came here for a few years to get my car detailed but was very disappointed this last time around. They gauged a section of my car's interior (plastic part of center console) and took zero responsibility for it, saying it was my seatbelt. Funny how it wasn't there BEFORE I took my car in...The owner Joe was rather condescending as we were trying to sort the situation out. I won't be going back. I'm sorry that I found the review by Emily funny but the fact it stated I came here a few years ago but the review is 2 months ago. The only thing I did agree with was, yes take a picture prior. Because when you get your car back you will be shock how better it looks.I have been going to New Image detailing almost from the first month they open, back in 1997. Since I first started going there I have owned 5 brand new cars. The only place I will have my ca r cleaned is at New Image. This also includes the car dealership that hand wash's your car when in for any type of service. When I drop my car off for a hand wash and vacuum, every other Saturday, Joe and his awesome staff greet me not as a customer but as a friend. Even when they are busy the will still take the time to give you a smile and a Hi. Needless to say, their attention to detail in my opinion will far exceed any reasonable persons expectation. Lets face it, you can't expect them to turn nothing in to something, but they will give it their best. And I believe you will be happy. And lets not even talk prices because I would venture to say they are more than competitive in that area. Don't believe then check it out for yourself. Here's the bottom line, even after moving from Clifton Heights to Wilmington Delaware, 9 years ago, I still drop my car off at New Image every other Saturday. Why would I drive over an half hour away if they did not do an excellent job. I wouldn't. So I would highly recommend this shop to any person, either local or out of the area, that is looking for any of the excellent services they provide, such as a wash n vac, detailing or window tinting at a reasonable price. I bought a Ford Escape used from a dealership about a year ago, and since had run over some road paint that wouldn't come off the passenger side of the car. The car was smoked in and treated pretty much like a trash can since we bought it, and really needed a deep cleaning, and the tail gate wouldn't open. I called this place to get a quote, and was a bit surprised with the $185 price, but found that it was less than most other places in the area. We were also on a time crunch since we're expecting a baby in less than a week. I decided to bring it in, and was told that I would need to pay an extra $100 if I wanted them to try to remove the white paint. I agreed and left the car with them. The guys working there were friendly, it was ready when they said it would be, and I was absolutely thrilled with the results! My car is MUCH cleaner than it was when I bought it and they got the paint off! I'm very satisfied and will definitely be back! read more
